1 And he sayde vnto them: Verely I saye vnto you: There be some of the that stonde here which shall not taste of deeth tyll they have sene the kyngdome of God come with power.
1 Dizia-lhes também: Em verdade vos digo que, dos que aqui estão, alguns há que não provarão a morte sem que vejam chegado o reino de Deus com poder.
2 And after .vi. dayes Iesus toke Peter Iames and Iohn and leede them vp into an hye mountayne out of the waye alone and he was transfigured before them.
2 E seis dias depois Jesus tomou consigo a Pedro, a Tiago, e a João, e os levou sós, em particular, a um alto monte; e transfigurou-se diante deles;
3 And his rayment dyd shyne and was made very whyte even as snowe: so whyte as noo fuller can make apon the erth.
3 E as suas vestes tornaram- se resplandecentes, extremamente brancas como a neve, tais como nenhum lavadeiro sobre a terra as poderia branquear.
4 And ther apered vnto them Helyas with Moses: and they talked with Iesu.
4 E apareceu-lhes Elias, com Moisés, e falavam com Jesus.
5 And Peter answered and sayde to Iesu: Master here is good beinge for vs let vs make .iii. tabernacles one for the one for Moses and one for Helyas.
5 E Pedro, tomando a palavra, disse a Jesus: Mestre, é bom que estejamos aqui; e façamos três cabanas, uma para ti, outra para Moisés, e outra para Elias.
6 And yet he wist not what he sayde: for they were afrayde.
6 Pois não sabia o que dizia, porque estavam assombrados.
7 And ther was a cloude that shaddowed the. And a voyce came out of the cloude sayinge: This is my dere sonne here him.
7 E desceu uma nuvem que os cobriu com a sua sombra, e saiu da nuvem uma voz que dizia: Este é o meu filho amado; a ele ouvi.
8 And sodenly they loked rounde aboute them and sawe no man more then Iesus only with them.
8 E, tendo olhado em redor, ninguém mais viram, senão só Jesus com eles.
9 And as they came doune from the hyll he charged the that they shuld tell no man what they had sene tyll the sonne of man were rysen from deeth agayne.
9 E, descendo eles do monte, ordenou-lhes que a ninguém contassem o que tinham visto, até que o Filho do homem ressuscitasse dentre os mortos.
10 And they kepte that sayinge with them and demaunded one of a nother what that rysinge from deeth agayne shuld meane?
10 E eles retiveram o caso entre si, perguntando uns aos outros que seria aquilo, ressuscitar dentre os mortos.
11 And they axed him sayinge: why then saye the scribe that Helyas muste fyrste come?
11 E interrogaram-no, dizendo: Por que dizem os escribas que é necessário que Elias venha primeiro?
12 He answered and sayde vnto them: Helyas verelye shall fyrst come and restore all thinges. And also the sonne of man as it is wrytte shall suffre many thinges and shall be set at nought.
12 E, respondendo ele, disse-lhes: Em verdade Elias virá primeiro, e todas as coisas restaurará; e, como está escrito do Filho do homem, que ele deva padecer muito e ser aviltado.
13 Moreouer I saye vnto you that Helyas is come and they have done vnto him whatsoever pleased them as it is wrytten of him.
13 Digo-vos, porém, que Elias já veio, e fizeram-lhe tudo o que quiseram, como dele está escrito.
14 And he came to his disciples and sawe moche people aboute them and the scribes disputinge with them.
14 E, quando se aproximou dos discípulos, viu ao redor deles grande multidão, e alguns escribas que disputavam com eles.
15 And streyght waye all the people when they behelde him were amased and ran to him and saluted him.
15 E logo toda a multidão, vendo-o, ficou espantada e, correndo para ele, o saudaram.
16 And he sayde vnto the Scribes: what dispute ye with them?
16 E perguntou aos escribas: Que é que discutis com eles?
17 And one of the companye answered and sayde: Master I have brought my sonne vnto the which hath a dome spirite.
17 E um da multidão, respondendo, disse: Mestre, trouxe-te o meu filho, que tem um espírito mudo;
18 And whensoever he taketh him he teareth him and he fometh and gnassheth with his tethe and pyneth awaye. And I spake to thy disciples that they shuld caste him out and they coulde not.
18 E este, onde quer que o apanhe, despedaça-o, e ele espuma, e range os dentes, e vai definhando; e eu disse aos teus discípulos que o expulsassem, e não puderam.
19 He answered him and sayd: O generacion with out faith how longe shall I be with you? How longe shall I suffre you? Bringe him vnto me.
19 E ele, respondendo-lhes, disse: Ó geração incrédula! até quando estarei convosco? até quando vos sofrerei ainda? Trazei-mo.
20 And they brought him vnto him. And assone as the sprete sawe him he tare him. And he fell doune on the grounde walowinge and fomynge.
20 E trouxeram-lho; e quando ele o viu, logo o espírito o agitou com violência, e, caindo o endemoninhado por terra, revolvia-se, escumando.
21 And he axed his father: how longe is it a goo sens this hath happened him? And he sayde of a chylde:
21 E perguntou ao pai dele: Quanto tempo há que lhe sucede isto? E ele disse-lhe: Desde a infância.
22 and ofte tymes casteth him into the fyre and also into the water to destroye him. But yf thou canste do eny thinge have mercy on vs and helpe vs.
22 E muitas vezes o tem lançado no fogo, e na água, para o destruir; mas, se tu podes fazer alguma coisa, tem compaixão de nós, e ajuda-nos.
23 And Iesus sayde vnto him: ye yf thou couldest beleve all thinges are possible to him that belevith.
23 E Jesus disse-lhe: Se tu podes crer, tudo é possível ao que crê.
24 And streygth waye the father of the chylde cryed with teares sayinge: Lorde I beleve helpe myne vnbelefe.
24 E logo o pai do menino, clamando, com lágrimas, disse: Eu creio, Senhor! ajuda a minha incredulidade.
25 When Iesus sawe that the people came runnynge togedder vnto him he rebuked the foule sprete sayinge vnto him: Thou domme and deffe sprete I charge the come out of him and entre no more into him.
25 E Jesus, vendo que a multidão concorria, repreendeu o espírito imundo, dizendo-lhe: Espírito mudo e surdo, eu te ordeno: Sai dele, e não entres mais nele.
26 And the sprete cryed and rent him sore and came out: And he was as one that had bene deed in so moche that many sayde he is deed.
26 E ele, clamando, e agitando-o com violência, saiu; e ficou o menino como morto, de tal maneira que muitos diziam que estava morto.
27 But Iesus caught his honde and lyfte him vp: and he roose.
27 Mas Jesus, tomando-o pela mão, o ergueu, e ele se levantou.
28 And when he was come into the housse his disciples axed him secretly: why coulde not we caste him out?
28 E, quando entrou em casa, os seus discípulos lhe perguntaram à parte: Por que o não pudemos nós expulsar?
29 And he sayde vnto them: this kynde can by no nother meanes come forth but by prayer and fastynge.
29 E disse-lhes: Esta casta não pode sair com coisa alguma, a não ser com oração e jejum.
30 And they departed thens and toke their iorney thorow Galile and he wolde not that eny man shuld have knowen it.
30 E, tendo partido dali, caminharam pela Galiléia, e não queria que alguém o soubesse;
31 For he taught his disciples and sayde vnto them: The sonne of man shalbe delyvered into the hondes of men and they shall kyll him and after that he is kylled he shall aryse agayne the thryd daye.
31 Porque ensinava os seus discípulos, e lhes dizia: O Filho do homem será entregue nas mãos dos homens, e matá-lo-ão; e, morto ele, ressuscitará ao terceiro dia.
32 But they wiste not what that sayinge meat and were affrayed to axe him.
32 Mas eles não entendiam esta palavra, e receavam interrogá-lo.
33 And he came to Capernaum. And when he was come to housse he axed the: what was it that ye disputed bytwene you by the waye?
33 E chegou a Cafarnaum e, entrando em casa, perguntou-lhes: Que estáveis vós discutindo pelo caminho?
34 And they helde their peace: for by the waye they reasoned amonge the selves who shuld be the chefest.
34 Mas eles calaram-se; porque pelo caminho tinham disputado entre si qual era o maior.
35 And he sate doune and called the twelve vnto him and sayd to them: yf eny man desyre to be fyrst the same shalbe last of all and servaunt vnto all.
35 E ele, assentando-se, chamou os doze, e disse-lhes: Se alguém quiser ser o primeiro, será o derradeiro de todos e o servo de todos.
36 And he toke a chylde and set him in the middes of them and toke him in his armes and sayde vnto them.
36 E, lançando mão de um menino, pô-lo no meio deles e, tomando-o nos seus braços, disse-lhes:
37 Whosoever receave eny soche a chylde in my name receaveth me. And whosoever receaveth me receaveth not me but him that sent me.
37 Qualquer que receber um destes meninos em meu nome, a mim me recebe; e qualquer que a mim me receber, recebe, não a mim, mas ao que me enviou.
38 Iohn answered him sayinge: Master we sawe one castynge out devyls in thy name which foloweth not vs and we forbade him because he foloweth vs not.
38 E João lhe respondeu, dizendo: Mestre, vimos um que em teu nome expulsava demônios, o qual não nos segue; e nós lho proibimos, porque não nos segue.
39 But Iesus sayde forbid him not. For ther is no man that shall do a miracle in my name that can lightlyge speake evyll of me.
39 Jesus, porém, disse: Não lho proibais; porque ninguém há que faça milagre em meu nome e possa logo falar mal de mim.
40 Whosoever is not agaynste you is on youre parte.
40 Porque quem não é contra nós, é por nós.
41 And whosoever shall geve you a cuppe of water to drinke for my names sake because ye belonge to Christe verely I saye vnto you he shall not loose his rewarde.
41 Porquanto, qualquer que vos der a beber um copo de água em meu nome, porque sois discípulos de Cristo, em verdade vos digo que não perderá o seu galardão.
42 And whosoever shall offende one of these lytelons that beleve in me it were better for him that a mylstone were hanged aboute his necke and that he he were cast into the see:
42 E qualquer que escandalizar um destes pequeninos que crêem em mim, melhor lhe fora que lhe pusessem ao pescoço uma mó de atafona, e que fosse lançado no mar.
43 wherfore yf thy hande offende the cut him of. It is better for the to entre into lyffe maymed then havynge two hondes goo into hell into fire that never shalbe quenched
43 E, se a tua mão te escandalizar, corta-a; melhor é para ti entrares na vida aleijado do que, tendo duas mãos, ires para o inferno, para o fogo que nunca se apaga,
44 where there worme dyeth not and the fyre never goeth oute.
44 Onde o seu bicho não morre, e o fogo nunca se apaga.
45 Lykewyse yf thy fote offende the cut him of. For it is better for the to goo halt into lyfe then havynge two fete to be cast into hell into fyre that never shalbe quenched:
45 E, se o teu pé te escandalizar, corta-o; melhor é para ti entrares coxo na vida do que, tendo dois pés, seres lançado no inferno, no fogo que nunca se apaga,
46 where there worme dyeth not and the fyre never goeth oute.
46 Onde o seu bicho não morre, e o fogo nunca se apaga.
47 Even so yf thyne eye offende the plucke him oute. It is better for the to goo into the kyngdom of god with one eye then havynge two eyes to be caste into hell fyre:
47 E, se o teu olho te escandalizar, lança-o fora; melhor é para ti entrares no reino de Deus com um só olho do que, tendo dois olhos, seres lançado no fogo do inferno,
48 where there worme dyeth not and the fyre never goeth oute.
48 Onde o seu bicho não morre, e o fogo nunca se apaga.
49 Every man therfore shalbe salted with fyre: And every sacrifise shalbe seasoned with salt.
49 Porque cada um será salgado com fogo, e cada sacrifício será salgado com sal.
50 Salt is good. But yf the salt be vnsavery: what shall the salte therwith? Se that ye have salt in youre selves: and have peace amonge youre selves one with another.
50 Bom é o sal; mas, se o sal se tornar insípido, com que o temperareis? Tende sal em vós mesmos, e paz uns com os outros.
