1 Morover my brethren reioyce in the lorde. It greveth me not to write one thinge often to you. For to you it is a sure thynge.
1 No mais, meus irmãos, regozijai no Senhor. Escrever-vos as mesmas coisas não me é penoso, mas para vós é segurança.
2 Beware of dogges beware of evyll workers. Beware of dissencion.
2 Guardai-vos dos cães, guardai-vos dos maus obreiros, cuidado com a mutilação.
3 For we are circumcision which worshippe god in the sprete and reioyce in Christ Iesu and have no confidence in the flesshe:
3 Porque a circuncisão somos nós, que adoramos a Deus em espírito, e nos regozijamos em Cristo Jesus, e não temos confiança na carne.
4 though I have wherof I myght reioyce in the flesshe. Yf eny other man thynketh that he hath wherof he myght trust in the flesshe: moche moare I:
4 Embora eu também possa ter confiança na carne; se algum outro homem pensa que pode confiar na carne, ainda mais eu:
5 circumcised the eyght daye of the kynred of Israhell of the trybe of Beniamyn an Ebrue borne of the Ebrues: as concernynge the lawe a pharisaye
5 Circuncidado ao oitavo dia, da linhagem de Israel, da tribo de Benjamim, hebreu de hebreus; no tocante à lei, um fariseu,
6 and as concernynge fervetnes I perseuted the congregacion and as touchynge the rightewesnes which is in the lawe I was vnrebukable.
6 segundo o zelo, perseguidor da igreja; no tocante à justiça que está na lei, irrepreensível.
7 But the thynges that were vauntage vnto me I counted losse for Christes sake.
7 Mas as coisas que para mim eram consideradas como ganho, reputei-as como perda por Cristo.
8 Ye I thinke all thynges but losse for that excellet knowledges sake of Christ Iesu my lorde. For whom I have counted all thynge losse and do iudge them but donge that I myght wynne Christ
8 E, na verdade, tenho também por perda todas as coisas, pela excelência do conhecimento de Cristo Jesus, meu Senhor; pelo qual sofri a perda de todas estas coisas e as considero como esterco, para que possa ganhar a Cristo,
9 and myght be founde in him not havynge myne awne rightewesnes which is of the lawe: But that which spryngeth of the fayth which is in Christ. I meane the rightewesnes which cometh of God thorowe fayth
9 e seja achado nele, não tendo a minha própria justiça que vem da lei, mas a que vem pela fé de Cristo, a justiça que vem de Deus, pela fé.
10 in knowynge him and the vertue of his resurreccion and the fellowshippe of his passions that I myght be conformable vnto his (deeth)
10 Para conhecê-lo, e o poder da sua ressurreição, e a participação em seus sofrimentos, sendo feito conforme à sua morte;
11 yf by eny meanes I myght attayne vnto the resurreccion from deeth.
11 para ver se, de alguma maneira, eu possa chegar à ressurreição dos mortos.
12 Not as though I had all redy attayned to it Ether were all redy parfect: but I folowe yf that I maye comprehende that wherin I am comprehended of Christ Iesu.
12 Não que já a tenha alcançado ou que seja perfeito; mas prossigo para alcançar aquilo para o que fui também alcançado por Cristo Jesus.
13 Brethren I counte not my silfe that I have gotten it: but one thynge I saye: I forget that which is behynde and stretche my silfe vnto that which is before
13 Irmãos, não julgo que o haja alcançado; mas uma coisa faço, e é que, esquecendo-me das coisas que atrás ficam e avançando para as coisas que estão diante de mim,
14 and preace vnto the marke apoynted to obtayne the rewarde of the hye callynge of god in Christ Iesu.
14 prossigo para o alvo, pelo prêmio da soberana vocação de Deus em Cristo Jesus.
15 Let vs therfore as many as be perfect be thus wyse minded: and yf ye be other wyse mynded I praye God open even this vnto you.
15 Por isso todos quantos já somos perfeitos, tenhamos este mesmo sentimento; e, se sentis alguma coisa de outra maneira, Deus deve revelar ainda esta a vós.
16 Neverthelesse in that wher vnto we are come let vs procede by one rule that we maye be of one acorde.
16 Porém, naquilo a que já chegamos, andemos segundo a mesma regra e sintamos a mesma coisa.
17 Brethren be folowers of and me loke on them which walke even so as ye have vs for an ensample.
17 Irmãos, sede também meus seguidores, e marcai os que assim andam, segundo o exemplo que tendes em nós.
18 For many walke (of whom I have tolde you often and now tell you wepynge) that they are the enemyes of the crosse of Christ
18 (Porque muitos há, dos quais muitas vezes vos disse e agora também digo a vós, chorando, que eles são inimigos da cruz de Cristo.
19 whose ende is dampnacion whose God is their bely and whose glory is to their shame which are worldely mynded.
19 Cujo fim é a destruição, cujo deus é o seu ventre, e cuja glória é a sua vergonha, que só pensam nas coisas terrenas).
20 But oure conversacion is in heven from whence we loke for a saveour enen the lorde Iesus Christ
20 Mas a nossa cidadania está nos céus, de onde também esperamos o Salvador, o Senhor Jesus Cristo,
21 which shall chaunge oure vile bodies that they maye be fassioned lyke vnto his glorious body acordinge to the workynge wherby he is able to subdue all thinges vnto hym silfe.
21 que transformará o nosso corpo vil, para ser conforme o seu corpo glorioso, de acordo com o trabalho pelo qual ele é capaz de submeter todas as coisas para si mesmo.
