1 And hath quickened you also that were deed in treaspasse and synne
1 Ele vos vivificou, estando vós mortos nos vossos delitos e pecados,
2 in the which in tyme passed ye walked acordynge to the course of this worlde and after the governer that ruleth in the ayer the sprete that now worketh in the children of vnbelefe
2 nos quais outrora andastes, segundo o curso deste mundo, segundo o príncipe das potestades do ar, do espírito que agora opera nos filhos de desobediência,
3 amonge which we also had oure conversacion in tyme past in the lustes of oure flesshe and fullfilled the will of the flesshe and of the mynde: and were naturally the children of wrath even as wel as other.
3 entre os quais todos nós também antes andávamos nos desejos da nossa carne, fazendo a vontade da carne e dos pensamentos; e éramos por natureza filhos da ira, como também os demais.
4 But God which is rich in mercy thorow his greate love wherwith he loved vs
4 Mas Deus, sendo rico em misericórdia, pelo seu muito amor com que nos amou,
5 even when we were deed by synne hath quickened vs together in Christ (for by grace are ye saved)
5 estando nós ainda mortos em nossos delitos, nos vivificou juntamente com Cristo {pela graça sois salvos},
6 and hath raysed vs vp together and made vs sitte together in hevenly thynges thorow Christ Iesus
6 e nos ressuscitou juntamente com ele, e com ele nos fez sentar nas regiões celestes em Cristo Jesus,
7 for to shewe in tymes to come the excedynge ryches of his grace in kyndnes to vs warde in Christ Iesu.
7 para mostrar nos séculos vindouros a suprema riqueza da sua graça, pela sua bondade para conosco em Cristo Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye made safe thorowe fayth and that not of youre selves. For it is the gyfte of God
8 Porque pela graça sois salvos, por meio da fé, e isto não vem de vós, é dom de Deus;
9 and commeth not of workes lest eny man shuld bost him silfe.
9 não vem das obras, para que ninguém se glorie.
10 For we are his worckmanshippe created in Christ Iesu vnto good workes vnto the which god ordeyned vs before that we shuld walke in them.
10 Porque somos feitura sua, criados em Cristo Jesus para boas obras, as quais Deus antes preparou para que andássemos nelas.
11 Wherfore remember that ye beynge in tyme passed getyls in the flesshe and were called vncircumcision to the which are called circucision in the flesshe which circucision is made by hondes:
11 Portanto, lembrai-vos que outrora vós, gentios na carne, chamam circuncisão, feita pela mão dos homens,
12 Remember I saye that ye were at that tyme with oute Christ and were reputed aliantes from the comen welth of Israel and were straugers from the testamentes of promes and had no hope and were with out god in this worlde.
12 estáveis naquele tempo sem Cristo, separados da comunidade de Israel, e estranhos aos pactos da promessa, não tendo esperança, e sem Deus no mundo.
13 But now in Christ Iesu ye which a whyle agoo were farre of are made nye by the bloude of Christ.
13 Mas agora, em Cristo Jesus, vós, que antes estáveis longe, já pelo sangue de Cristo chegastes perto.
14 For he is oure peace whych hath made of both one and hath broken doune the wall that was a stoppe bitwene vs
14 Porque ele é a nossa paz, o qual de ambos os povos fez um; e, derrubando a parede de separação que estava no meio, na sua carne desfez a inimizade,
15 and hath also put awaye thorow his flesshe the cause of hatred (that is to saye the lawe of commaundementes contayned in the lawe written) for to make of twayne one newe man in him silfe so makynge peace:
15 isto é, a lei dos mandamentos contidos em ordenanças, para criar, em si mesmo, dos dois um novo homem, assim fazendo a paz,
16 and to reconcile both vnto god in one body thorow his crosse and slewe hatred therby:
16 e pela cruz reconciliar ambos com Deus em um só corpo, tendo por ela matado a inimizade;
17 and came and preached peace to you which were afarre of and to them that were nye.
17 e, vindo, ele evangelizou paz a vós que estáveis longe, e paz aos que estavam perto;
18 For thorow him we both have an open waye in in one sprete vnto the father.
18 porque por ele ambos temos acesso ao Pai em um mesmo Espírito.
19 Now therfore ye are no moare straugers and foreners: but citesyns with the saynctes and of the housholde of god:
19 Assim, pois, não sois mais estrangeiros, nem forasteiros, antes sois concidadãos dos santos e membros da família de Deus,
20 and are bilt apon the foundacion of the apostles and prophetes Iesus Christ beynge the heed corner stone
20 edificados sobre o fundamento dos apóstolos e dos profetas, sendo o próprio Cristo Jesus a principal pedra da esquina;
21 in whom every bildynge coupled togedder groweth vnto an holy temple in the lorde
21 no qual todo o edifício bem ajustado cresce para templo santo no Senhor,
22 in whom ye also are bilt togedder and made an habitacion for god in the sprete.
22 no qual também vós juntamente sois edificados para morada de Deus no Espírito.
