1 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth so that no wind could blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree.

9 After this I looked, and behold, there was a great multitude, which no one could number, from every nation, tribe, people, and tongue, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes,with palm branches in their hands.

10 They were crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs toour God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

11 And all the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,

13 In response one of the elders said to me, “Who are these people clothed in white robes, and where did they come from?”

14 I said to him, “Sir, yoʋ know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They havewashed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
