1 Coríntios 14
Text-Critical English New Testament (ENG_TCE) vs AAI
1 Pursue love, and earnestly desire spiritual gifts, but even more that you may prophesy.
1 Yabow i ayawasamaim wan nama nabonawiy, naatu dogor wanawanan akok gagamin Anun Kakafiyin usar bai enan akisin kwananuwih kwanab, usar gewasin naatu au gagamin i God ana tur binan ana usar kwanab.
2 For he who speaks in a tongue speaks not to men but to God; for no one understands him, but he speaks mysteries in the Spirit.
2 Orot yait menan botabir tur ta’amaim eo i men sabuw isah eo, baise God isan eo. Anayabin men yait ta so’ob tur boro nanowar naniyan nab, nati tur i Anun Kakafiyin ana fairane tur anababatun wa’iwa’irin eo.
3 But he who prophesies speaks edification, encouragement, and comfort to others.
3 Baise orot yait God ana tur eo ebibinan i sabuw isah eo baibais, koufair, nuhifot ebitih.
4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.
4 Yait menan botabir tur ta’amaim eo, nati i taiyuwin ebibais. Baise orot yait God ana tur eo ebibinan, i God ana sabuw tutufin etei ebibaisih.
5 Now I would like all of you to speak in tongues, but even more that you would prophesy. For greater is he who prophesies than he who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be edified.
5 Ayu au kok kwa etei mena tabotabir tur ta’amaim kwatao, baise au kok gagamin anababatun i binan ana usar kwatab, anayabin orot yait tur eo ebibinan ana baibais i gagamin. Orot menan ebobotabir i gewasin, baise orot ta nati kou’ay wanawanan tur nabotabir nao ekaleisia etei hinanowar saise boro nibaisih.
6 Now, brothers, if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I benefit you unless I speak to you with a revelation or knowledge or prophecy or teaching?
6 Naatu taitu, ayu atan kwa ata binanawan ana veya, menau tabotabir tur ta’amaim atao’o na’at boro baibais atit? Baise tur boubuh, not so’ob boubuh, tur binan God biyanane, naatu God ana roube’aten tur ana bow anan, turobe boro imaim nibaisi.
7 It is the same way with lifeless instruments that produce sound, such as the flute or harp. If they do not produce distinct notes, how will anyone recognize what is being played?
7 Ef ta iti na’atube, ben hai sawar douduf na’atube hinirabirab, o fik na’atube hinababin kwanekwan orot benayan boro mi’itube naniyan nab naben gewas?
8 And if the trumpet does not produce a distinct sound, who will prepare himself for battle?
8 Naatu orot yait tour men ebababin gewas, baiyowayah boro mi’itube hinaso’ob gewas hibobuna baiyow isan?
9 It is the same with you. If you do not produce intelligible speech with your tongue, how will anyone know what you are saying? You will just be speaking into the air.
9 Ana itinin i ta’imon, o mena nabotabir tur ta sabuw men hisoso’obamaim kuo, sabuw boro mi’itube naniyan hinab o abisa isan kuo? O a tur asir isaroun me yan ere’er.
10 There are undoubtedly many kinds of languages in the world, and noneof them is without meaning.
10 Tafaram wanawanan tur i moumurih maiyow, naatu nati tur etei i hai yabih auman men ta yabin enamih.
11 If then I do not know the meaning of a particular language, I will be a foreigner to him who is speaking, and he who is speaking will be a foreigner to me.
11 Isan imih tur nidun anonowar naniyan men abaib ayu i touman orot amatar, nati orot tur oyan isan, naatu tur oyan auman ayu isou touman orot matar.
12 It is the same with you. Since you earnestly desire spiritual gifts, seek to abound in them for the edification of the church.
12 Imih o yait a kok gagamin i ayubit ana usar ta inab inabow, basit God kwi’fefeyan saise usar menatan o inab ekalesia inabibais boro nit.
13 Therefore anyone who speaks in a tongue should pray for the ability to interpret what he says.
13 Ana’an iti isan sabuw iyab menah ebobotabir, gewasin hinayoyoban, saise tur koubuna isan ana usar auman hinab hinakubuna sabuw hinaso’ob.
14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful.
14 Anayabin ayu mena’umaim ayoyoyoban, ayubu auman ibo eyoyoyoban, baise au not men kafa’imo so’ob ayu abisa ao’o.
15 What then should I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will pray with my mind also. I will sing praise with my spirit, but I will sing praise with my mind also.
15 Ayu boro abisa anasinaf? gewasin ayu i boro ayubu airi anayoyoban, naatu au not auman airi anayoyoban, ayubu airi ew anatabor naatu au not auman airi anatabor.
16 Otherwise, if yoʋ bless with yoʋr spirit, how will anyone in the position of an outsider say “Amen” when yoʋ give thanks, since he does not know what yoʋ are saying?
16 Ayubimaim God ana merar iyi kubobora’ara’ah, orot ta boro mi’itube naso’ob airi God kwanabora’ara’ah, naatu boro mi’itube naso’ob nibasit. Anayabin nati orot i men so’ob o abisa’awat kuo’o.
17 For yoʋ may very well be giving thanks, but the other person is not edified.
17 Basit o i merarayow gewasin maiyow God kubitin dogor tutufin etei, baise taituwa nati na ebatabat men kubibais.
18 I give thanks tomy Godspeaking in tongues more than you all.
18 Ayu i God ana merar ayiy, anayabin ayu menau botabirin tur ta’amaim o isan kwa etei ana tabir.
19 Nevertheless, in church I would rather speak five words with my mind to instruct others, than ten thousand words in a tongue.
19 Baise ekalesia hai kou’ay wanawanan ayu tur etei five akisin anao sabuw etei boro naniyan hinab naatu nibaisih, baise menau nabotabir tur 10,000 na’atube anao ana baibais i en.
20 Brothers, do not be childish in your way of thinking. Rather, as to malice be infants, but in your way of thinking be mature.
20 Taituwau, men kek hai notabe kwananot, men kek sosofabe kwanarerey kwanekwanemih, baise orot babin hai not kwanab tur kwanao.
21 In the law it is written, “With foreign tongues and withforeign lips I will speak to this people, and even then they will not listen to me, says the Lord.”
21 Buk Atamaninamaim wanawanan ofafar iti na’atube hikirum,
22 So then, tongues are a sign not for believers but for unbelievers, while prophecy is a sign not for unbelievers but for believers.
22 Menat ebobotabir i men sabuw baitumatumayah hai i’inan, baise sabuw iyab men tibitumatum hai i’inanen, naatu tur binan i sabuw iyab men tibitumatum isah, baise baitumatumayah isah.
23 So if the whole church comes together and everyone is speaking in tongues, and outsiders or unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your minds?
23 Imih ekaleisia tutufin etei hinaru’ay, naatu sabuw etei menah nabotabir tur ta’amaim hinao’o, sabuw afa ufunane hina tema’am, naatu sabuw iyab men tibitumatum boro hinao, “Sabuw tibikoko’aw kwa’itih?”
24 But if an unbeliever or outsider comes in while everyone is prophesying, he will be convicted by all and called to account by all.
24 Baise orot yait God ana tur eo ebibinan ufun orot baitumatum atin ma enonowar boro dogoron narusib. Anayabin tur abisa nonowar ana kakafih etei hina hibebeyan itan.
25 The secrets of his heart willthus be revealed, and he will fall on his face and worship God, declaring that God is truly among you.
25 Ana not wa’iwa’irin ma’am etei tit irerereb naatu boro sun nayowen Regah nakwafir, bebeyanamaim naorereb nao, “Turobe God i kwa wanawananamaim bairi kwama’am!”
26 What then should you do, brothers? When you come together, each oneof you has a psalm, a teaching, atongue, a revelation, or an interpretation. Everything must be done for edification.
26 Taituwau, abisa ao yabin i iti, bora’ara’aten isan kwanaruru’ay ana veya, orot boro ew natabor, orot ta boro ni’obaibiyi, orot ta boro God ana tur naorerereb, orot ta boro menan nabotabir, orot ta boro nati tur nabotabir nakubuna kwananowar, naatu sawar iti etei i ekaleisia wowabin ra’at isan kwasisinaf.
27 If any speak in a tongue, only two, or at the most three, should speak; they should each speak in turn, and someone must interpret.
27 Menamaim omih orot rou’ab o tounu hinao naatu men tounu nanatabir, naatu tur i orot ta nao nasawar, imaibo ta nao, men auta’imon kwanarahimih, naatu orot ta i nati tur nabotabir nakubuna.
28 But if there is no interpreter, they should keep quiet in the church and speak in tongues privately to God.
28 Baise koubuna’ayan orot nati’imaim men nama’am na’at, orot nati tur eo gewasin ekaleisia wanawanan boro awan nafot, i akisin God hairi’imo hinayoyoban.
29 Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should evaluate what they say.
29 Orot rou’ab o tounu God ana tur hinabinan, naatu hinabibinan wanawanan, binanuyah afa nati tibibinan hai tur hinafufun gewas.
30 But if something is revealed to another who is seated, the first speaker should be silent.
30 Naatu nati tur inan wanawanan orot ta kou’ay wanawanan ma’am God ana tur ta boubun na isan birerereb ana veya, nati orot bat ebibinan awan nafot.
31 For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all may be encouraged.
31 Anayabin kwa ta’ita’imon a veya ti’inu’in na’atube boro kwanabinan, saise sabuw etei boro roube’aten tur hinab hinaso’ob naatu koufair hinab.
32 Remember that the spirits of prophets are subject to the prophets.
32 Dinab oro’orot iyab God ana tur hio tibibinan hai tur i hinakaif gewas.
33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace; this is true in all the churches of the saints.
33 Anayabin i men baibikwarisen ana Godamih, baise tufuw ana God.
34 Your women should be silent in the churches, for theyhave not been permitted to speak, but must be in submission, just as the law says.
34 Ekalesia wanawananamaim baibin i awah nafot hinama. Baibin isah men baibasit ema’am boro tur hinao, baise ofafar eo na’atube awah nafot orot babahimaim hinanutanub hinama.
35 If they want to learn anything, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful forwomen to speak in church.
35 Sawar ta isan so’obamih baremaim a’aawah hinibatiyih, anayabin ekaleisia wanawanan baibin tur o isan i biya’ohow ema’am.
36 Or was it from you that the word of God came? Or are you the only ones it has reached?
36 Kwanotanot God ana tur kwa akis biyamaim busuruf? Ai nati tur i kwa akis isa na?
37 If anyone thinks that he is a prophet or spiritual person, he should acknowledge that the things I am writing to you arecommandments of the Lord.
37 Orot yait enotanot i God ana dinab orot, naatu God biyanane ayubin ana usar bai ema’am, abisa kwa isa akikirum boro naso’ob, iti i Regah ana obaiyunen tur.
38 But if anyone ignores this, let him be ignorant.
38 Baise iti tur nanowar nakwakwahir, God boro ibo nakwahir ana tur men nanowar.
39 So then, brothers, earnestly desire to prophesy and do not forbid speaking in tongues.
39 Isan imih taituwau, dogor kwanabotawiy God ana tur kwanab gewas kwanabinan, naatu sabuw afa menah botabir teo men kwana’otanih.
40 Let all things be done decently and in order.
40 Baise kwana’itin gewas sawar etei i hai efamaim kwanasinaf naatu kakaf ana efamaim.
