1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened To the house of David, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, For sin and for uncleanness.
1 Naquele dia, haverá uma fonte aberta para a casa de Davi e para os habitantes de Jerusalém, para remover o pecado e a impureza.
2 And it shall come to pass in that day, Saith Jehovah of hosts, That I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, And they shall no more be remembered; And the prophets also, and the impure spirit, Will I cause to pass out of the land.
2 Acontecerá, naquele dia, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos, que eliminarei da terra os nomes dos ídolos, e deles não haverá mais memória; e também removerei da terra os profetas e o espírito imundo.
3 And it shall come to pass, when any one shall yet prophesy, That his father and mother shall say to him, Even they that begat him, “Thou shalt not live; For thou hast spoken falsehood in the name of Jehovah.” And his father and mother that begat him shall pierce him through when he prophesieth.
3 Quando alguém ainda profetizar, seu pai e sua mãe, que o geraram, lhe dirão: Não viverás, porque tens falado mentiras em nome do Senhor ; seu pai e sua mãe, que o geraram, o traspassarão quando profetizar.
4 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophet shall be ashamed Every one of his vision when he prophesieth; Neither shall they wear a garment of hair, to deceive.
4 Naquele dia, se sentirão envergonhados os profetas, cada um da sua visão quando profetiza; nem mais se vestirão de manto de pelos, para enganarem.
5 But each shall say, “I am no prophet; I am a man that tilleth the ground; For a man hath purchased me from my youth.”
5 Cada um, porém, dirá: Não sou profeta, sou lavrador da terra, porque fui comprado desde a minha mocidade.
6 And when one shall say to him, “What are these wounds in thy hands?” He shall answer, “Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.”
6 Se alguém lhe disser: Que feridas são essas nas tuas mãos?, responderá ele: São as feridas com que fui ferido na casa dos meus amigos.
7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, Even against the man who is my fellow, saith Jehovah of hosts! Smite the shepherd, and let the sheep be scattered! I will also turn my hand against the lambs.
7 Desperta, ó espada, contra o meu pastor e contra o homem que é o meu companheiro, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos; fere o pastor, e as ovelhas ficarão dispersas; mas volverei a mão para os pequeninos.
8 And it shall come to pass in all the land, saith Jehovah, That two parts therein shall be cut off and die; But the third part shall be left therein.
8 Em toda a terra, diz o Senhor , dois terços dela serão eliminados e perecerão; mas a terceira parte restará nela.
9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, And will refine them, as silver is refined, And will try them, as gold is tried; They shall call upon me, and I will hear them; I will say, “It is my people.” And they shall say, “Jehovah is our God.”
9 Farei passar a terceira parte pelo fogo, e a purificarei como se purifica a prata, e a provarei como se prova o ouro; ela invocará o meu nome, e eu a ouvirei; direi: é meu povo, e ela dirá: O Senhor é meu Deus.
