¹ The LORD reigneth, let the nations tremble! He sitteth between the cherubs, let the earth quake!

¹ O SENHOR reina; tremam os povos. Ele está assentado entre os querubins; comova-se a terra.

² Great is the LORD upon Zion; He is exalted over all the nations.

² O Senhor é grande em Sião, e mais alto do que todos os povos.

³ Let men praise thy great and terrible name! It is holy.

³ Louvem o teu nome, grande e tremendo, pois é santo.

⁴ Let them declare the glory of the King who loveth justice! Thou hast established equity; Thou dost execute justice in Jacob!

⁴ Também o poder do Rei ama o juízo; tu firmas a eqüidade, fazes juízo e justiça em Jacó.

⁵ Exalt ye Jehovah, our God, And bow yourselves down at his footstool! He is holy.

⁵ Exaltai ao Senhor nosso Deus, e prostrai-vos diante do escabelo de seus pés, pois é santo.

⁶ Moses and Aaron, with his priests, And Samuel, who called upon his name,—They called upon the LORD, and he answered them.

⁶ Moisés e Arão, entre os seus sacerdotes, e Samuel entre os que invocam o seu nome, clamavam ao Senhor, e Ele lhes respondia.

⁷ He spake to them in the cloudy pillar; They kept his commandments, And the ordinances which he gave them.

⁷ Na coluna de nuvem lhes falava; eles guardaram os seus testemunhos, e os estatutos que lhes dera.

⁸ Thou, O LORD, our God! didst answer them; Thou wast to them a forgiving God, Though thou didst punish their transgressions!

⁸ Tu os escutaste, Senhor nosso Deus: tu foste um Deus que lhes perdoaste, ainda que tomaste vingança dos seus feitos.

⁹ Exalt the LORD, our God. And worship at his holy mountain! For the LORD, our God, is holy.

⁹ Exaltai ao Senhor nosso Deus e adorai-o no seu monte santo, pois o Senhor nosso Deus é santo.
