¹ “A psalm of Asaph.” God standeth in God's assembly, He judgeth in the midst of the gods.

¹ Deus assiste na congregação divina; no meio dos deuses, estabelece o seu julgamento.

² “How long will ye judge unjustly, And favor the cause of the wicked? [[Pause.]]

² Até quando julgareis injustamente e tomareis partido pela causa dos ímpios?

³ Defend the poor and the fatherless; Do justice to the wretched and the needy!

³ Fazei justiça ao fraco e ao órfão, procedei retamente para com o aflito e o desamparado.

⁴ Deliver the poor and the destitute; Save them from the hand of the wicked!

⁴ Socorrei o fraco e o necessitado; tirai-os das mãos dos ímpios.

⁵ They are without knowledge and without understanding; They walk in darkness: Therefore all the foundations of the land are shaken.

⁵ Eles nada sabem, nem entendem; vagueiam em trevas; vacilam todos os fundamentos da terra.

⁶ I have said, Ye are gods, And all of you children of the Most High;

⁶ Eu disse: sois deuses, sois todos filhos do Altíssimo.

⁷ But ye shall die like men, And fall like the rest of the princes.”

⁷ Todavia, como homens, morrereis e, como qualquer dos príncipes, haveis de sucumbir.

⁸ Arise, O God! judge the earth! For all the nations are thy possession.

⁸ Levanta-te, ó Deus, julga a terra, pois a ti compete a herança de todas as nações.
