1 “For the leader of the music. To be sung on stringed instruments. A psalm.” O God! be merciful to us, and bless us, And cause thy face to shine upon us! [[Pause.]]
1 Ao mestre de canto. Com instrumentos de corda. Salmo. Cântico. Tenha Deus piedade de nós e nos abençoe, faça resplandecer sobre nós a luz da sua face,
2 That thy doings may be known on earth, And thy saving power to all the nations.
2 para que se conheçam na terra os seus caminhos e em todas as nações a sua salvação.
3 Let the nations praise thee, O God! Yea, let all the nations praise thee!
3 Que os povos vos louvem, ó Deus, que todos os povos vos glorifiquem.
4 Let all the nations be glad, and shout for joy! For justly dost thou judge the people, And govern the nations on the earth.
4 Alegrem-se e exultem as nações, porquanto com eqüidade regeis os povos e dirigis as nações sobre a terra.
5 Let the nations praise thee, O God! Yea, let all the nations praise thee!
5 Que os povos vos louvem, ó Deus, que todos os povos vos glorifiquem.
6 For the earth hath yielded her increase, And God, our God, hath blessed us.
6 A terra deu o seu fruto, abençoou-nos o Senhor, nosso Deus.
7 May God continue to bless us, And may all the ends of the earth fear him!
7 Sim, que Deus nos abençoe, e que o reverenciem até os confins da terra.
