1 “For the leader of the music. A psalm of the sons of Korah.” O clap your hands, all ye nations! Shout unto God with the voice of triumph!
1 Ao mestre de canto. Salmo dos filhos de Coré. Povos, aplaudi com as mãos, aclamai a Deus com vozes alegres,
2 For terrible is Jehovah, the Most High, The great king over all the earth.
2 porque o Senhor é o Altíssimo, o temível, o grande Rei do universo.
3 He hath subdued nations under us, And kingdoms under our feet;
3 Ele submeteu a nós as nações, colocou os povos sob nossos pés,
4 He hath chosen for us an inheritance, The glory of Jacob, whom he loved. [[Pause.]]
4 escolheu uma terra para nossa herança, a glória de Jacó, seu amado.
5 God goeth up with a shout; Jehovah with the sound of the trumpet.
5 Subiu Deus por entre aclamações, o Senhor, ao som das trombetas.
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our king, sing praises!
6 Cantai à glória de Deus, cantai; cantai à glória de nosso rei, cantai.
7 For God is king of all the earth; Sing to him hymns of praise!
7 Porque Deus é o rei do universo; entoai-lhe, pois, um hino!
8 God reigneth over the nations; God sitteth upon his holy throne.
8 Deus reina sobre as nações, Deus está em seu trono sagrado.
9 The princes of the nations gather themselves together To the people of the God of Abraham; For the mighty of the earth belong to God; He is supremely exalted.
9 Reuniram-se os príncipes dos povos ao povo do Deus de Abraão, pois a Deus pertencem os grandes da terra, a ele, o soberanamente grande.
