1 Praise ye the LORD! Sing unto the LORD a new song; His praise in the assembly of the godly!
1 Louvado seja o S enhor ! Cantem ao S cantem louvores a ele na congregação dos fiéis.
2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him; Let the sons of Zion be joyful in their king!
2 Ó Israel, alegre-se em seu Criador! Ó povo de Sião, exulte em seu Rei!
3 Let them praise his name in the dance; Let them praise him with the timbrel and harp!
3 Louvem o nome dele com danças, acompanhadas de tamborins e harpas.
4 For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people; He will beautify the distressed with salvation.
4 Pois o S enhor tem prazer em seu povo; ele coroa os humildes com vitória.
5 Let the godly-rejoice in their glory; Let them shout for joy upon their beds!
5 Alegrem-se os fiéis porque ele os honra; cantem de alegria em suas camas.
6 Let the praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,
6 Louvores a Deus estejam em seus lábios,
7 To execute vengeance upon the nations, And punishment upon the peoples!
7 para se vingarem das nações e castigarem os povos,
8 To bind their kings with chains. And their nobles with fetters of iron;
8 para prenderem seus reis com algemas e seus líderes, com correntes de ferro,
9 To execute upon them the sentence which is written: This honor have all his godly ones. Praise ye the LORD!
