1 “A psalm of the steps, or the goings up.” I lift up mine eyes to the hills: Whence cometh my help?
1 Olho para os montes e pergunto: “De onde me virá socorro?”.
2 My help cometh from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

3 He will not suffer thy foot to stumble; Thy guardian doth not slumber.
3 Ele não deixará que você tropece; aquele que o protege não cochilará.
4 Behold, the guardian of Israel Doth neither slumber nor sleep.
4 Aquele que guarda Israel não cochila nem dorme.
5 The LORD is thy guardian; The LORD is thy shade at thy right hand.
5 O S enhor é seu protetor! O S como sombra que o abriga.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, Nor the moon by night.
6 O sol não lhe fará mal de dia, nem a lua, de noite.
7 The LORD will preserve thee from all evil; He will preserve thy life.
7 O S enhor o guarda de todo mal e protege sua vida.
8 The LORD will preserve thee, when thou goest out and when thou comest in, From this time forth for ever.
8 O S enhor o guarda em tudo que você faz, agora e para sempre.
