1 Praise ye the LORD! Praise, O ye servants of the LORD! Praise the name of the LORD!
1 Aleluia! Louvem, ó servos do louvem o nome do
2 Blessed be the name of the LORD From this time forth, even for ever!
2 Bendito seja o nome do Senhor , agora e para sempre.
3 From the rising of the sun to its going down, May the LORD'S name be praised!
3 Do nascimento do sol até o momento em que se põe, louvado seja o nome do
4 The LORD is high above all nations; His glory is above the heavens.
4 Excelso é o Senhor , acima de todas as nações, e a sua glória está acima dos céus.
5 Who is like the LORD, our God, That dwelleth on high,
5 Quem é semelhante ao Senhor , nosso Deus, cujo trono está nas alturas,
6 That looketh down low Upon the heavens and the earth?
6 que se inclina para ver o que se passa no céu e sobre a terra?
7 He raiseth the poor from the dust, And exalteth the needy from the dunghill,
7 Ele levanta o pobre do pó e tira o necessitado do monte de lixo,
8 To set him among princes, Even among the princes of his people.
8 para o fazer sentar ao lado dos príncipes, sim, com os príncipes do seu povo.
9 He causeth the barren woman to dwell in a house, A joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD!
