1 For Zion's sake I will not keep silence, And for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, Until her deliverance break forth like the shining light, And her salvation like a blazing torch.
1 Por causa de Sião, não permanecerei quieto. Por causa de Jerusalém, não ficarei calado, até sua justiça brilhar como o amanhecer e sua salvação resplandecer como uma tocha acesa.
2 Then shall the nations see thy prosperity, And all the kings thy glory; Thou shalt be called by a new name, Which the mouth of Jehovah shall give thee.
2 As nações verão sua justiça, reis de todo o mundo contemplarão sua glória. E você receberá um novo nome, da boca do S
3 Thou shalt be a beautiful crown in the hand of Jehovah, A royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
3 Será uma esplêndida coroa na mão do S enhor , erguida na mão de Deus para que todos a vejam.
4 No more shalt thou be called the Desolate, And thy land, the Forsaken. But thou shall be named My-delight-is-in-her. And thy land the wedded Matron. For Jehovah shall delight in thee, And thy land shall be married.
4 Nunca mais será chamada de “Cidade Abandonada” nem de “Terra Desolada”. Seu novo nome será “Cidade do Prazer de Deus” e “Esposa de Deus”, pois o S e a tomará como esposa.
5 For as a young man weddeth a virgin. So shall thy children wed thee. And as a bridegroom rejoiceth in his bride, So shall thy God rejoice in thee.
5 Seus filhos se comprometerão com você, como o jovem se compromete com sua noiva. Então Deus se alegrará por você, como o noivo se alegra por sua noiva.
6 Upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, have I set watchmen; All the day, and all the night, shall they not keep silence; O ye that praise Jehovah, keep not silence,
6 Ó Jerusalém, coloquei vigias sobre seus muros; eles vigiarão continuamente, dia e noite. Não descansem, vocês que oram ao S
7 And give him no rest, Until he establish Jerusalem, and make her a praise in the earth!
7 Não deem descanso ao S enhor até que ele complete sua obra, até que ele torne Jerusalém motivo de orgulho de toda a terra.
8 Jehovah hath sworn by his right hand, and his mighty arm: No more will I give thy corn to be food for thine enemies, Nor shall the sons of the stranger drink thy wine, for which thou hast labored.
8 O S enhor jurou a Jerusalém por sua própria força: “Nunca mais a entregarei a seus inimigos; nunca mais virão guerreiros de outras nações para levar seu cereal e seu vinho novo.
9 But they that reap the harvest shall eat it, And praise Jehovah; And they that gather the vintage shall drink it, In my holy comets.
9 Vocês que colherem o cereal o comerão e louvarão o S Nos pátios do templo beberão o vinho que prensaram”.
10 Pass ye, pass ye through the gates; Prepare the way for the people; Cast ye up, cast ye up the highway, Clear it from the stones; Lift up on high a standard for the tribes!
10 Saiam pelos portões! Saiam pelos portões! Preparem o caminho para meu povo retornar! Aplanem, aplanem a estrada e removam as pedras, levantem uma bandeira para que todas as nações a vejam!
11 Behold, Jehovah proclaimeth to the end of the earth: “Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy Deliverer cometh! Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him!”
11 O S enhor enviou esta mensagem até os confins da terra: “Digam ao povo de Sião: Vejam, seu Salvador se aproxima! Olhem, ele traz consigo sua recompensa!”.
12 They shall be called, The holy people, The redeemed of Jehovah. And thou shalt be called, The Sought out, The Not forsaken City.
12 Eles serão chamados de “Povo Santo” e “Povo que o S E Jerusalém será conhecida como “Lugar Desejável” e “Cidade Não Abandonada”.
