Ezequiel 25

1 The word of Jehovah came again to me, saying:
1 A palavra do SENHOR veio novamente a mim, dizendo:
2 Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;
2 Filho do homem, direciona a tua face contra os amonitas, e profetiza contra eles.
3 and say to the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord Jehovah! Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou saidst, “Aha!” against my sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity, therefore,
3 E dize aos amonitas: Ouvi a palavra do Senhor DEUS: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porquanto tu disseste: Ah! contra o meu santuário, quando foi profanado; e contra a terra de Israel, quando foi assolada; e contra a casa de Judá, quando foi ao cativeiro;
4 behold, I will deliver thee to the sons of the East for a possession, and they shall set their folds in thee, and make their dwellings in thee; they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.
4 portanto, eis que eu te entregarei aos homens do leste por possessão, e eles estabelecerão seus palácios em ti, e farão suas moradas em ti; eles comerão os teus frutos, e eles beberão o teu leite.
5 And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the land of the Ammonites a couching-place for flocks; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
5 E eu farei de Rabá um estábulo para camelos, e dos amonitas um lugar de encontro de rebanhos; e vós sabereis que eu sou o SENHOR.
6 For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou hast clapped thy hands, and stamped with thy feet, and rejoiced with all thy despite from the heart, against the land of Israel,
6 Porque assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porque aplaudiste com as tuas mãos, e pateaste com os pés, e te regozijaste no coração com todo o despeito contra a terra de Israel,
7 therefore, behold, I will stretch out my hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the nations; I will cut thee off from the nations, and cause thee to perish from the countries; I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am Jehovah.
7 portanto, eis que eu estenderei a minha mão sobre ti, e te entregarei por despojo aos pagãos, e te cortarei fora dos povos, e te farei perecer fora das nações; eu te destruirei; e tu saberás que eu sou o SENHOR.
8 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because Moab and Seir say, “Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations,”
8 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porquanto Moabe e Seir dizem: Eis que a casa de Judá é como todos os pagãos.
9 therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from his cities, which are on his borders, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim.
9 Portanto, eis que eu abrirei o lado de Moabe desde as cidades, desde as suas cidades que estão nas suas fronteiras, a glória da nação, Bete-Jesimote, Baal-Meom, e Quiriataim.
10 To the sons of the East will I give it for a possession, together with the sons of Ammon, that the sons of Ammon may be no more remembered among the nations;
10 Aos homens do leste com os amonitas, e os darei por possessão, para que os amonitas não possam ser lembrados entre as nações.
11 and on Moab will I execute judgments, and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
11 E eu executarei juízos sobre Moabe, e eles saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.
12 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them,
12 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porquanto aquele Edom tratou contra a casa de Judá levando a vingança, e grandemente se ofendeu, e se vingou sobre eles.
13 therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will stretch out my hand upon Edom, and will cut off from it man and beast; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and unto Dedan shall they fall by the sword.
13 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eu também estenderei a minha mão sobre Edom, e cortarei fora dela homem e animal, e eu a assolarei desde Temã, e aqueles de Dedã cairão pela espada.
14 And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall deal with Edom according to mine anger, and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord Jehovah.
14 E eu deitarei a minha vingança sobre Edom, pela mão do meu povo, Israel; e eles farão em Edom de acordo com a minha fúria e segundo o meu furor; e eles conhecerão a minha vingança, diz o Senhor DEUS.
15 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because the Philistines have dealt with revenge, and have taken vengeance, with a despiteful heart, even to destruction, from the old hatred;
15 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porquanto os filisteus trataram através da vingança, e fizeram vingança com um coração despeitado, para destruí-la por causa do ódio antigo.
16 therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will stretch out my hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant upon the sea-coasts.
16 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu estenderei a minha mão sobre os filisteus, e eu cortarei fora os quereteus, e destruirei os remanescentes da costa do mar.
17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am Jehovah when I lay my vengeance upon them.
17 E eu executarei grande vingança sobre eles, com furiosas repreensões, e eles saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, quando eu deitar minha vingança sobre eles.
