1 Esta é a mensagem que o Senhor Deus deu a Oseias, filho de Beeri, durante os reinados de Uzias, Jotão, Acaz e Ezequias, na terra de Judá, e de Jeroboão, filho de Joás, na terra de Israel.
2 When|strong="H3588" the|strong="H3588" LORD|strong="H3068" spake|strong="H1696" at|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3588" first|strong="H8462" by|strong="H3068" Hosea|strong="H1954", the|strong="H3588" LORD|strong="H3068" said|strong="H1696" unto|strong="H1696" Hosea|strong="H1954", Go|strong="H3212", take|strong="H3947" unto|strong="H1696" thee|strong="H3947" a|strong="H3068" wife|strong="H1696" of|strong="H3068" whoredom|strong="H2181" and|strong="H3068" children|strong="H3206" of|strong="H3068" whoredom|strong="H2181": for|strong="H3588" the|strong="H3588" land doth|strong="H3068" commit|strong="H2181" great|strong="H2181" whoredom|strong="H2181", departing from|strong="H3947" the|strong="H3588" LORD|strong="H3068".
2 Quando o Senhor Deus falou pela primeira vez por meio de Oseias ao povo de Israel, ele disse a Oseias: — Vá e case com uma prostituta de um templo pagão ; os filhos que nascerem serão filhos de uma prostituta. Pois o povo de Israel agiu como uma prostituta: eles foram infiéis e me abandonaram.
3 So|strong="H3947" he|strong="H3947" went|strong="H3212" and|strong="H1121" took|strong="H3947" Gomer|strong="H1586" the|strong="H3947" daughter|strong="H1323" of|strong="H1121" Diblaim|strong="H1691"; and|strong="H1121" she conceived|strong="H2029", and|strong="H1121" bare|strong="H3205" him|strong="H3205" a|strong="H3068" son|strong="H1121".
3 Então Oseias foi e casou com Gomer, filha de Diblaim. Quando nasceu o primeiro filho,
4 And|strong="H3478" the|strong="H5921" LORD|strong="H3068" said|strong="H7121" unto|strong="H3068" him|strong="H7121", Call|strong="H7121" his|strong="H3068" name|strong="H8034" Jezreel|strong="H3157"; for|strong="H3588" yet|strong="H5750" a|strong="H3068" little|strong="H4592" while|strong="H5750", and|strong="H3478" I|strong="H3588" will|strong="H3068" avenge|strong="H6485" the|strong="H5921" blood|strong="H1818" of|strong="H1004" Jezreel|strong="H3157" upon|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" house|strong="H1004" of|strong="H1004" Jehu|strong="H3058", and|strong="H3478" will|strong="H3068" cause|strong="H7121" the|strong="H5921" kingdom|strong="H4468" of|strong="H1004" the|strong="H5921" house|strong="H1004" of|strong="H1004" Israel|strong="H3478" to|strong="H3478" cease|strong="H7673".
4 o Senhor Deus disse a Oseias: — Ponha no menino o nome de Jezreel porque daqui a pouco vou castigar o rei de Israel por causa dos crimes de morte que o rei Jeú, o antepassado dele, cometeu em Jezreel. Vou acabar com o Reino de Israel
5 And|strong="H3478" it|strong="H1931" shall|strong="H3478" come|strong="H1961" to|strong="H3478" pass|strong="H1961" at|strong="H3478" that|strong="H3117" day|strong="H3117", that|strong="H3117" I|strong="H3117" will|strong="H1961" break|strong="H7665" the|strong="H3117" bow|strong="H7198" of|strong="H3117" Israel|strong="H3478" in|strong="H3478" the|strong="H3117" valley|strong="H6010" of|strong="H3117" Jezreel|strong="H3157".
5 e no vale de Jezreel destruirei o poder militar de Israel.
6 And|strong="H3478" she|strong="H3588" conceived|strong="H2029" again|strong="H5750", and|strong="H3478" bare|strong="H3205" a|strong="H3068" daughter|strong="H1323". And|strong="H3478" the LORD said|strong="H7121" unto|strong="H3205" him|strong="H3205", Call|strong="H7121" her|strong="H5375" name|strong="H8034" Lo-ruhamah|strong="H3819": for|strong="H3588" I|strong="H3588" will|strong="H3478" no|strong="H3808" more|strong="H3254" have|strong="H7355" mercy|strong="H7355" upon|strong="H7121" the|strong="H3588" house|strong="H1004" of|strong="H1004" Israel|strong="H3478", that|strong="H3588" I|strong="H3588" should|strong="H3588" in|strong="H3478" any|strong="H5750" wise pardon|strong="H5375" them|strong="H7121".
6 Depois, Gomer deu à luz uma filha, e o Senhor disse a Oseias: — Ponha na menina o nome de Não-Amada porque eu não terei mais amor pelo povo de Israel e não o perdoarei.
7 But|strong="H3808" I|strong="H3808" will|strong="H3068" have|strong="H7355" mercy|strong="H7355" upon|strong="H7355" the|strong="H3068" house|strong="H1004" of|strong="H1004" Judah|strong="H3063", and|strong="H3063" will|strong="H3068" save|strong="H3467" them|strong="H3068" by|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068" their|strong="H3068" God|strong="H3068", and|strong="H3063" will|strong="H3068" not|strong="H3808" save|strong="H3467" them|strong="H3068" by|strong="H3068" bow|strong="H7198", nor|strong="H3808" by|strong="H3068" sword|strong="H2719", nor|strong="H3808" by|strong="H3068" battle|strong="H4421", by|strong="H3068" horses|strong="H5483", nor|strong="H3808" by|strong="H3068" horsemen|strong="H6571".
7 Mas continuarei a amar o povo de Judá. Eu mesmo, o Senhor , seu Deus, os salvarei. Porém não farei isso por meio de guerra: não usarei arcos e flechas, nem espadas, nem cavalos de guerra e cavaleiros.
8 Now when|strong="H1121" she had|strong="H3205" weaned|strong="H1580" Lo-ruhamah|strong="H3819", she conceived|strong="H2029", and|strong="H1121" bare|strong="H3205" a|strong="H3068" son|strong="H1121".
8 Depois que desmamou a filha, Gomer ficou grávida mais uma vez e deu à luz outro filho.
9 And|strong="H5971" the LORD said|strong="H7121", Call|strong="H7121" his|strong="H7121" name|strong="H8034" Lo-ammi|strong="H3818": for|strong="H3588" ye|strong="H3808" are|strong="H5971" not|strong="H3808" my|strong="H1961" people|strong="H5971", and|strong="H5971" I|strong="H3588" will|strong="H1961" not|strong="H3808" be|strong="H1961" your|strong="H3588" God.
9 E o Senhor Deus disse a Oseias: — Ponha no menino o nome de Não-Meu-Povo, pois o povo de Israel não é mais o meu povo, e eu não sou mais o Deus deles.
10 Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass that, in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
10 Um dia, o povo de Israel será como os grãos de areia do mar; será tão numeroso, que não poderá ser contado, nem medido. E, no mesmo lugar onde Deus disse: “Vocês não são o meu povo”, ali ele dirá: “Vocês são os filhos do Deus vivo”.
11 And the children of Judah and the children of Israel shall be gathered together, and they shall appoint themselves one head, and shall go up from the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.
11 Os povos de Judá e de Israel se unirão e juntos escolherão um só chefe. Serão mais uma vez um povo poderoso e rico. Como será grande esse dia, o Dia de Jezreel !
