1 E depois de Abimeleque, se levantou, para livrar a Israel, Tola, filho de Puá, filho de Dodo, homem de Issacar; e habitava em Samir, na montanha de Efraim.
2 And|strong="H3478" he|strong="H8141" judged|strong="H8199" Israel|strong="H3478" twenty|strong="H6242" and|strong="H3478" three|strong="H7969" years|strong="H8141", and|strong="H3478" died|strong="H4191", and|strong="H3478" was|strong="H3478" buried|strong="H6912" in|strong="H8141" Shamir|strong="H8069".
2 E julgou a Israel vinte e três anos; e morreu, e foi sepultado em Samir.
3 And|strong="H6965" after|strong="H6965" him arose|strong="H6965" Jair|strong="H2971", the|strong="H6965" Gileadite|strong="H1569"; and|strong="H6965" he|strong="H8147" judged|strong="H8199" Israel|strong="H3478" twenty|strong="H6242" and|strong="H6965" two|strong="H8147" years|strong="H8141".
3 E depois dele se levantou Jair, gileadita, e julgou a Israel vinte e dois anos.

4 E tinha este trinta filhos, que cavalgavam sobre trinta jumentos; e tinham trinta cidades, a que chamaram Havote-Jair, até ao dia de hoje; as quais estão na terra de Gileade.
5 And|strong="H4191" Jair|strong="H2971" died|strong="H4191", and|strong="H4191" was buried|strong="H6912" in|strong="H4191" Kamon|strong="H7056".
5 E morreu Jair, e foi sepultado em Camom.
6 And|strong="H1121" the|strong="H6213" children|strong="H1121" of|strong="H1121" Israel|strong="H3478" again|strong="H3254" did|strong="H6213" that|strong="H3068" which|strong="H3068" was|strong="H3068" evil|strong="H7451" in|strong="H3478" the|strong="H6213" sight|strong="H5869" of|strong="H1121" the|strong="H6213" LORD|strong="H3068", and|strong="H1121" served|strong="H5647" the|strong="H6213" Baalim|strong="H1168", and|strong="H1121" the|strong="H6213" Ashtaroth|strong="H6252", and|strong="H1121" the|strong="H6213" gods of|strong="H1121" Syria, and|strong="H1121" the|strong="H6213" gods of|strong="H1121" Zidon|strong="H6721", and|strong="H1121" the|strong="H6213" gods of|strong="H1121" Moab|strong="H4124", and|strong="H1121" the|strong="H6213" gods of|strong="H1121" the|strong="H6213" children|strong="H1121" of|strong="H1121" Ammon|strong="H5983", and|strong="H1121" the|strong="H6213" gods of|strong="H1121" the|strong="H6213" Philistines|strong="H6430"; and|strong="H1121" they|strong="H3068" forsook|strong="H5800" the|strong="H6213" LORD|strong="H3068", and|strong="H1121" served|strong="H5647" him|strong="H6213" not|strong="H3808".
6 Então tornaram os filhos de Israel a fazer o que era mau aos olhos do Senhor, e serviram aos baalins, e a Astarote, e aos deuses da Síria, e aos deuses de Sidom, e aos deuses de Moabe, e aos deuses dos filhos de Amom, e aos deuses dos filisteus; e deixaram ao Senhor, e não o serviram.
7 And|strong="H1121" the|strong="H3068" anger of|strong="H1121" the|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068" was|strong="H3068" kindled|strong="H2734" against|strong="H2734" Israel|strong="H3478", and|strong="H1121" he|strong="H3068" sold|strong="H4376" them|strong="H3027" into|strong="H3027" the|strong="H3068" hand|strong="H3027" of|strong="H1121" the|strong="H3068" Philistines|strong="H6430", and|strong="H1121" into|strong="H3027" the|strong="H3068" hand|strong="H3027" of|strong="H1121" the|strong="H3068" children|strong="H1121" of|strong="H1121" Ammon|strong="H5983".
7 E a ira do Senhor se acendeu contra Israel; e vendeu-os nas mãos dos filisteus, e nas mãos dos filhos de Amom.
8 And|strong="H1121" they|strong="H8141" vexed|strong="H7492" and|strong="H1121" oppressed|strong="H7533" the|strong="H3605" children|strong="H1121" of|strong="H1121" Israel|strong="H3478" that|strong="H3605" year|strong="H8141": eighteen|strong="H8083" years|strong="H8141" oppressed they all|strong="H3605" the|strong="H3605" children|strong="H1121" of|strong="H1121" Israel|strong="H3478" that|strong="H3605" were|strong="H3478" beyond|strong="H5676" Jordan|strong="H3383" in|strong="H8141" the|strong="H3605" land|strong="H5676" of|strong="H1121" the|strong="H3605" Amorites, which|strong="H1931" is|strong="H1931" in|strong="H8141" Gilead|strong="H1568".
8 E naquele mesmo ano oprimiram e vexaram aos filhos de Israel; dezoito anos oprimiram a todos os filhos de Israel que estavam além do Jordão, na terra dos amorreus, que está em Gileade.
9 And|strong="H1121" the|strong="H5674" children|strong="H1121" of|strong="H1121" Ammon|strong="H5983" passed|strong="H5674" over|strong="H5674" Jordan|strong="H3383" to|strong="H3478" fight|strong="H3898" also|strong="H1571" against|strong="H3898" Judah|strong="H3063", and|strong="H1121" against|strong="H3898" Benjamin|strong="H1144", and|strong="H1121" against|strong="H3898" the|strong="H5674" house|strong="H1004" of|strong="H1121" Ephraim; so|strong="H1571" that|strong="H3478" Israel|strong="H3478" was|strong="H3478" sore|strong="H3966" distressed|strong="H3334".
9 Até os filhos de Amom passaram o Jordão, para pelejar também contra Judá, e contra Benjamim, e contra a casa de Efraim; de modo que Israel ficou muito angustiado.
10 And|strong="H1121" the|strong="H3588" children|strong="H1121" of|strong="H1121" Israel|strong="H3478" cried|strong="H2199" unto|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3588" LORD|strong="H3068", saying, We|strong="H3588" have|strong="H3068" sinned|strong="H2398" against|strong="H2398" thee|strong="H5647", even|strong="H3588" because|strong="H3588" we|strong="H3068" have|strong="H3068" forsaken|strong="H5800" our|strong="H3068" God|strong="H3068", and|strong="H1121" have|strong="H3068" served|strong="H5647" the|strong="H3588" Baalim|strong="H1168".
10 Então os filhos de Israel clamaram ao Senhor, dizendo: Contra ti havemos pecado, visto que deixamos a nosso Deus, e servimos aos baalins.
11 And|strong="H1121" the|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068" said unto|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" children|strong="H1121" of|strong="H1121" Israel|strong="H3478", Did not|strong="H3808" I save you from|strong="H4480" the|strong="H3068" Egyptians|strong="H4714", and|strong="H1121" from|strong="H4480" the|strong="H3068" Amorites, from|strong="H4480" the|strong="H3068" children|strong="H1121" of|strong="H1121" Ammon|strong="H5983", and|strong="H1121" from|strong="H4480" the|strong="H3068" Philistines|strong="H6430"?
11 Porém o Senhor disse aos filhos de Israel: Porventura dos egípcios, e dos amorreus, e dos filhos de Amom, e dos filisteus,
12 The|strong="H3027" Zidonians|strong="H6722" also|strong="H3027", and|strong="H3027" the|strong="H3027" Amalekites|strong="H6002", and|strong="H3027" the|strong="H3027" Maonites|strong="H4584", did oppress|strong="H3905" you|strong="H3027"; and|strong="H3027" ye cried|strong="H6817" unto|strong="H6817" me|strong="H3467", and|strong="H3027" I|strong="H3027" saved|strong="H3467" you|strong="H3027" out|strong="H6817" of|strong="H3027" their|strong="H3027" hand|strong="H3027".
12 E dos sidônios, e dos amalequitas, e dos maonitas, que vos oprimiam, quando a mim clamastes, não vos livrei das suas mãos?
13 Yet|strong="H3254" ye|strong="H3254" have|strong="H3808" forsaken|strong="H5800" me|strong="H3254", and|strong="H3254" served|strong="H5647" other gods: wherefore|strong="H3651" I|strong="H3651" will|strong="H3808" save|strong="H3467" you|strong="H3808" no|strong="H3808" more|strong="H3254".
13 Contudo vós me deixastes a mim, e servistes a outros deuses; pelo que não vos livrarei mais.
14 Go|strong="H3212" and|strong="H3212" cry|strong="H2199" unto|strong="H3212" the|strong="H3467" gods which|strong="H1992" ye|strong="H1992" have|strong="H6256" chosen; let|strong="H3212" them|strong="H1992" save|strong="H3467" you|strong="H3467" in|strong="H3212" the|strong="H3467" time|strong="H6256" of|strong="H6256" your|strong="H3467" distress|strong="H6869".
14 Ide, e clamai aos deuses que escolhestes; que eles vos livrem no tempo do vosso aperto.
15 And|strong="H1121" the|strong="H3605" children|strong="H1121" of|strong="H1121" Israel|strong="H3478" said unto|strong="H6213" the|strong="H3605" LORD|strong="H3068", We|strong="H3117" have|strong="H3068" sinned|strong="H2398": do|strong="H6213" thou|strong="H6213" unto|strong="H6213" us|strong="H4994" whatsoever|strong="H3605" seemeth|strong="H5869" good|strong="H2896" unto|strong="H6213" thee|strong="H6213"; only|strong="H3605" deliver|strong="H5337" us|strong="H4994", we|strong="H3068" pray|strong="H4994" thee|strong="H6213", this|strong="H2088" day|strong="H3117".
15 Mas os filhos de Israel disseram ao Senhor: Pecamos; faze-nos conforme a tudo quanto te parecer bem aos teus olhos; tão-somente te rogamos que nos livres nesta vez.
16 And|strong="H3478" they|strong="H3068" put|strong="H5493" away|strong="H5493" the|strong="H5647" strange|strong="H5236" gods from|strong="H5493" among|strong="H7130" them|strong="H5493", and|strong="H3478" served|strong="H5647" the|strong="H5647" LORD|strong="H3068": and|strong="H3478" his|strong="H3068" soul|strong="H5315" was|strong="H3068" grieved|strong="H7114" for|strong="H3068" the|strong="H5647" misery|strong="H5999" of|strong="H3068" Israel|strong="H3478".
16 E tiraram os deuses alheios do meio de si, e serviram ao Senhor; então se angustiou a sua alma por causa da desgraça de Israel.
17 Then|strong="H1121" the|strong="H1121" children|strong="H1121" of|strong="H1121" Ammon|strong="H5983" were|strong="H3478" gathered|strong="H6817" together|strong="H6817", and|strong="H1121" encamped|strong="H2583" in|strong="H2583" Gilead|strong="H1568". And|strong="H1121" the|strong="H1121" children|strong="H1121" of|strong="H1121" Israel|strong="H3478" assembled|strong="H6817" themselves together|strong="H6817", and|strong="H1121" encamped|strong="H2583" in|strong="H2583" Mizpah|strong="H4709".
17 E os filhos de Amom se reuniram e se acamparam em Gileade; e também os de Israel se congregaram, e se acamparam em Mizpá.
18 And|strong="H1121" the|strong="H3605" people|strong="H5971", the|strong="H3605" princes|strong="H8269" of|strong="H1121" Gilead|strong="H1568", said one|strong="H3605" to|strong="H1961" another|strong="H7453", What|strong="H4310" man|strong="H1121" is|strong="H4310" he|strong="H3605" that|strong="H5971" will|strong="H4310" begin|strong="H2490" to|strong="H1961" fight|strong="H3898" against|strong="H3898" the|strong="H3605" children|strong="H1121" of|strong="H1121" Ammon|strong="H5983"? he|strong="H3605" shall|strong="H1121" be|strong="H1961" head|strong="H7218" over|strong="H8269" all|strong="H3605" the|strong="H3605" inhabitants|strong="H3427" of|strong="H1121" Gilead|strong="H1568".
18 Então o povo e os príncipes de Gileade disseram uns aos outros: Quem será o homem que começará a pelejar contra os filhos de Amom? Ele será por cabeça de todos os moradores de Gileade.
