1 Cantai alegremente a Deus, nossa fortaleza; erguei alegres vozes ao Deus de Jacó.
2 Take|strong="H5375" a psalm|strong="H2172", and bring|strong="H5414" hither the timbrel|strong="H8596", the pleasant|strong="H5273" harp|strong="H3658" with the psaltery|strong="H5035".
2 Entoai um salmo, e fazei soar o adufe, a suave harpa e o saltério.
3 Blow up|strong="H8628" the trumpet|strong="H7782" in the new moon|strong="H2320", in the time appointed|strong="H3677", on our solemn feast|strong="H2282" day|strong="H3117".
3 Tocai a trombeta pela lua nova, pela lua cheia, no dia da nossa festa.
4 For this was a statute|strong="H2706" for Israel|strong="H3478", and a law|strong="H4941" of the God|strong="H0430" of Jacob|strong="H3290".

7 Na angústia clamaste e te livrei; respondi-te no lugar oculto dos trovões; provei-te junto às águas de Meribá.
8 Hear|strong="H8085", O my people|strong="H5971", and I will testify|strong="H5749" unto thee: O Israel|strong="H3478", if thou wilt hearken|strong="H8085" unto me;
8 Ouve-me, povo meu, e eu te admoestarei; ó Israel, se me escutasses!
9 There shall no strange|strong="H2114" god|strong="H0410" be in thee; neither shalt thou worship|strong="H7812" any strange|strong="H5236" god|strong="H0410".
9 não haverá em ti deus estranho, nem te prostrarás ante um deus estrangeiro.
10 I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430", which brought|strong="H5927" thee out of the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714": open thy mouth|strong="H6310" wide|strong="H7337", and I will fill|strong="H4390" it.
10 Eu sou o Senhor teu Deus, que te tirei da terra do Egito; abre bem a tua boca, e eu a encherei.
11 But my people|strong="H5971" would not hearken|strong="H8085" to my voice|strong="H6963"; and Israel|strong="H3478" would|strong="H0014" none of me.
11 Mas o meu povo não ouviu a minha voz, e Israel não me quis.
12 So I gave them up|strong="H7971" unto their own hearts’|strong="H3820" lust|strong="H8307": and they walked|strong="H3212" in their own counsels|strong="H4156".
12 Pelo que eu os entreguei à obstinação dos seus corações, para que andassem segundo os seus próprios conselhos.
13 Oh|strong="H3863" that my people|strong="H5971" had hearkened|strong="H8085" unto me, and Israel|strong="H3478" had walked|strong="H1980" in my ways|strong="H1870"!
13 Oxalá me escutasse o meu povo! oxalá Israel andasse nos meus caminhos!
14 I should soon|strong="H4592" have subdued|strong="H3665" their enemies|strong="H0341", and turned|strong="H7725" my hand|strong="H3027" against their adversaries|strong="H6862".
14 Em breve eu abateria os seus inimigos, e voltaria a minha mão contra os seus adversários.
15 The haters|strong="H8130" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* should have submitted|strong="H3584" themselves unto him: but their time|strong="H6256" should have endured for ever|strong="H5769".
15 Os que odeiam ao Senhor o adulariam, e a sorte deles seria eterna.
16 He should have fed|strong="H0398" them also with the finest|strong="H2459" of the wheat|strong="H2406": and with honey|strong="H1706" out of the rock|strong="H6697" should I have satisfied|strong="H7646" thee.
16 E eu te sustentaria com o trigo mais fino; e com o mel saído da rocha eu te saciaria.
