1 Não fosse o Senhor , que esteve ao nosso lado, Israel que o diga;
2 If|strong="H3884" it had not been the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* who was on our side, when men|strong="H0120" rose up|strong="H6965" against us:
2 não fosse o Senhor , que esteve ao nosso lado, quando os homens se levantaram contra nós,
3 Then|strong="H0233" they had swallowed us up|strong="H1104" quick|strong="H2416", when their wrath|strong="H0639" was kindled|strong="H2734" against us:
3 e nos teriam engolido vivos, quando a sua ira se acendeu contra nós;
4 Then|strong="H0233" the waters|strong="H4325" had overwhelmed|strong="H7857" us, the stream|strong="H5158" had gone over|strong="H5674" our soul|strong="H5315":
4 as águas nos teriam submergido, e sobre a nossa alma teria passado a torrente;
5 Then|strong="H0233" the proud|strong="H2121" waters|strong="H4325" had gone over|strong="H5674" our soul|strong="H5315".
5 águas impetuosas teriam passado sobre a nossa alma.
6 Blessed|strong="H1288" be the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, who hath not given|strong="H5414" us as a prey|strong="H2964" to their teeth|strong="H8127".
6 Bendito o Senhor , que não nos deu por presa aos dentes deles.
7 Our soul|strong="H5315" is escaped|strong="H4422" as a bird|strong="H6833" out of the snare|strong="H6341" of the fowlers|strong="H3369": the snare|strong="H6341" is broken|strong="H7665", and we are escaped|strong="H4422".
7 Salvou-se a nossa alma, como um pássaro do laço dos passarinheiros; quebrou-se o laço, e nós nos vimos livres.
8 Our help|strong="H5828" is in the name|strong="H8034" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, who made|strong="H6213" heaven|strong="H8064" and earth|strong="H0776".
8 O nosso socorro está em o nome do Senhor , criador do céu e da terra.
