For|strong="G1063" there is|strong="G2076" no|strong="G3756" power|strong="G1849" but|strong="G3361" of|strong="G0575" God|strong="G2316": the powers|strong="G1849" that be|strong="G5607" are|strong="G1526" ordained|strong="G5021" of|strong="G5259" God|strong="G2316".
2 Whosoever|strong="G0498" therefore|strong="G5620" resisteth|strong="G0498" the power|strong="G1849", resisteth|strong="G0436" the ordinance|strong="G1296" of God|strong="G2316": and|strong="G1161" they that resist|strong="G0436" shall receive|strong="G2983" to themselves|strong="G1438" damnation|strong="G2917".
3 For|strong="G1063" rulers|strong="G0758" are|strong="G1526" not|strong="G3756" a terror|strong="G5401" to|strong="G2041" good|strong="G0018" works|strong="G2041", but|strong="G0235" to the evil|strong="G2556". 7 Render|strong="G0591" therefore|strong="G3767" to all|strong="G3956" their dues|strong="G3782": tribute|strong="G5411" to whom|strong="G3588" tribute|strong="G5411" is due; custom|strong="G5056" to whom|strong="G3588" custom|strong="G5056"; fear|strong="G5401" to whom|strong="G3588" fear|strong="G5401"; honour|strong="G5092" to whom|strong="G3588" honour|strong="G5092".
8 Owe|strong="G3784" no man|strong="G3367" any thing|strong="G3367", but|strong="G3361" to love|strong="G0025" one another|strong="G0240": for|strong="G1063" he that loveth|strong="G0025" another|strong="G2087" hath fulfilled|strong="G4137" the law|strong="G3551".

11 And|strong="G2532" that|strong="G5124", knowing|strong="G1492" the time|strong="G2540", that|strong="G3754" now|strong="G2235" it is high time|strong="G5610" to awake|strong="G1453" out of|strong="G1537" sleep|strong="G5258": for|strong="G1063" now|strong="G3568" is our|strong="G2257" salvation|strong="G4991" nearer|strong="G1452" than|strong="G2228" when|strong="G3753" we believed|strong="G4100".
12 The night|strong="G3571" is far spent|strong="G4298", the day|strong="G2250" is at hand|strong="G1448": let us|strong="G0659" therefore|strong="G3767" cast off|strong="G0659" the works|strong="G2041" of darkness|strong="G4655", and|strong="G2532" let us put on|strong="G1746" the armour|strong="G3696" of light|strong="G5457".
13 Let us walk|strong="G4043" honestly|strong="G2156", as|strong="G5613" in|strong="G1722" the day|strong="G2250"; not|strong="G3361" in rioting|strong="G2970" and|strong="G2532" drunkenness|strong="G3178", not|strong="G3361" in chambering|strong="G2845" and|strong="G2532" wantonness|strong="G0766", not|strong="G3361" in strife|strong="G2054" and|strong="G2532" envying|strong="G2205".
14 But|strong="G0235" put ye on|strong="G1746" the Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547", and|strong="G2532" make|strong="G4160" not|strong="G3361" provision|strong="G4307" for the flesh|strong="G4561", to|strong="G1519" fulfil the lusts|strong="G1939" thereof.
