2 And|strong="G2532", behold|strong="G2400", they brought|strong="G4374" to him|strong="G0846" a man sick of the palsy|strong="G3885", lying|strong="G0906" on|strong="G1909" a bed|strong="G2825": and|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" seeing|strong="G1492" their|strong="G0846" faith|strong="G4102" said|strong="G2036" unto the sick of the palsy|strong="G3885"; \+w Son|strong="G5043"\+w*, \+w be of good cheer|strong="G2293"\+w*; \+w thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w sins|strong="G0266"\+w* \+w be forgiven|strong="G0863"\+w* \+w thee|strong="G4671"\+w*.
3 And|strong="G2532", behold|strong="G2400", certain|strong="G5100" of the scribes|strong="G1122" said|strong="G2036" within|strong="G1722" themselves|strong="G1438", This|strong="G3778" man blasphemeth|strong="G0987".
4 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" knowing|strong="G1492" their|strong="G0846" thoughts|strong="G1761" said|strong="G2036", \+w Wherefore|strong="G2444"\+w* \+w think|strong="G1760"\+w* \+w ye|strong="G5210"\+w* \+w evil|strong="G4190"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w your|strong="G5216"\+w* \+w hearts|strong="G2588"\+w*?
5 \+w For|strong="G1063"\+w* \+w whether|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w is|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w easier|strong="G2123"\+w*, \+w to say|strong="G2036"\+w*, \+add Thy\+add* \+w sins|strong="G0266"\+w* \+w be forgiven|strong="G0863"\+w* \+w thee|strong="G4671"\+w*; \+w or|strong="G2228"\+w* \+w to say|strong="G2036"\+w*, \+w Arise|strong="G1453"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w walk|strong="G4043"\+w*?
6 \+w But|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w that|strong="G2443"\+w* \+w ye may know|strong="G1492"\+w* \+w that|strong="G3754"\+w* \+w the Son|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w of man|strong="G0444"\+w* \+w hath|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w power|strong="G1849"\+w* \+w on|strong="G1909"\+w* \+w earth|strong="G1093"\+w* \+w to forgive|strong="G0863"\+w* \+w sins|strong="G0266"\+w*, (then|strong="G5119" saith he|strong="G3004" to the sick of the palsy|strong="G3885",) \+w Arise|strong="G1453"\+w*, \+w take up|strong="G0142"\+w* \+w thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w bed|strong="G2825"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w go|strong="G5217"\+w* \+w unto|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w thine|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w house|strong="G3624"\+w*.
7 And|strong="G2532" he arose|strong="G1453", and departed|strong="G0565" to|strong="G1519" his|strong="G0846" house|strong="G3624".
8 But|strong="G1161" when|strong="G1492" the multitudes|strong="G3793" saw|strong="G1492" it, they marvelled|strong="G2296", and|strong="G2532" glorified|strong="G1392" God|strong="G2316", which had given|strong="G1325" such|strong="G5108" power|strong="G1849" unto men|strong="G0444".
9 And|strong="G2532" as|strong="G3855" Jesus|strong="G2424" passed forth|strong="G3855" from thence|strong="G1564", he saw|strong="G1492" a man|strong="G0444", named|strong="G3004" Matthew|strong="G3156", sitting|strong="G2521" at|strong="G1909" the receipt of custom|strong="G5058": and|strong="G2532" he saith|strong="G3004" unto him|strong="G0846", \+w Follow|strong="G0190"\+w* \+w me|strong="G3427"\+w*. And|strong="G2532" he arose, and|strong="G0450" followed|strong="G0190" him|strong="G0846".
10 And|strong="G2532" it came to pass|strong="G1096", as|strong="G0345" Jesus|strong="G0846" sat at meat|strong="G0345" in|strong="G1722" the house|strong="G3614", behold|strong="G2400", many|strong="G4183" publicans|strong="G5057" and|strong="G2532" sinners|strong="G0268" came and|strong="G2064" sat down with|strong="G4873" him|strong="G2424" and|strong="G2532" his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101".
11 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G1492" the Pharisees|strong="G5330" saw|strong="G1492" it, they said|strong="G2036" unto|strong="G3101" his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101", Why|strong="G5101" eateth|strong="G2068" your|strong="G5216" Master|strong="G1320" with|strong="G3326" publicans|strong="G5057" and|strong="G2532" sinners|strong="G0268"?
12 But|strong="G1161" when|strong="G0191" Jesus|strong="G2424" heard|strong="G0191" that, he said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w They that be whole|strong="G2480"\+w* \+w need|strong="G5532"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w a physician|strong="G2395"\+w*, \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w they that are sick|strong="G2560"\+w*.
13 \+w But|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w go ye and|strong="G4198"\+w* \+w learn|strong="G3129"\+w* \+w what|strong="G5101"\+w* \+add that\+add* \+w meaneth|strong="G2076"\+w*, \+w I will have|strong="G2309"\+w* \+w mercy|strong="G1656"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w sacrifice|strong="G2378"\+w*: \+w for|strong="G1063"\+w* \+w I am|strong="G2064"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w come|strong="G2064"\+w* \+w to call|strong="G2564"\+w* \+w the righteous|strong="G1342"\+w*, \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w sinners|strong="G0268"\+w* \+w to|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w repentance|strong="G3341"\+w*.
14 Then|strong="G5119" came to|strong="G4334" him|strong="G0846" the disciples|strong="G3101" of John|strong="G2491", saying|strong="G3004", Why|strong="G5101" do|strong="G3522" we|strong="G2249" and|strong="G2532" the Pharisees|strong="G5330" fast|strong="G3522" oft|strong="G4183", but|strong="G1161" thy|strong="G4675" disciples|strong="G3101" fast|strong="G3522" not|strong="G3756"?
15 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Can|strong="G1410"\+w* \+w the children|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w of the bridechamber|strong="G3567"\+w* \+w mourn|strong="G3996"\+w*, \+w as|strong="G1909"\+w* \+w long as|strong="G3745"\+w* \+w the bridegroom|strong="G3566"\+w* \+w is|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w with|strong="G3326"\+w* \+w them|strong="G0846"\+w*? \+w but|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w the days|strong="G2250"\+w* \+w will come|strong="G2064"\+w*, \+w when|strong="G3752"\+w* \+w the bridegroom|strong="G3566"\+w* \+w shall be taken|strong="G0522"\+w* \+w from|strong="G0575"\+w* \+w them|strong="G0846"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w then|strong="G5119"\+w* \+w shall they fast|strong="G3522"\+w*.
16 \+w No man|strong="G3762"\+w* \+w putteth|strong="G1911"\+w* \+w a piece|strong="G1915"\+w* \+w of new|strong="G0046"\+w* \+w cloth|strong="G4470"\+w* \+w unto|strong="G1909"\+w* \+w an|strong="G2440"\+w* \+w old|strong="G3820"\+w* \+w garment|strong="G2440"\+w*, \+w for|strong="G1063"\+w* \+w that which is put in to fill|strong="G4138"\+w* \+w it|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w up|strong="G4138"\+w* \+w taketh|strong="G0142"\+w* \+w from|strong="G0575"\+w* \+w the garment|strong="G2440"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the rent|strong="G4978"\+w* \+w is made|strong="G1096"\+w* \+w worse|strong="G5501"\+w*.
17 \+w Neither|strong="G3761"\+w* \+w do men put|strong="G0906"\+w* \+w new|strong="G3501"\+w* \+w wine|strong="G3631"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w old|strong="G3820"\+w* \+w bottles|strong="G0779"\+w*: \+w else|strong="G3361"\+w* \+w the bottles|strong="G0779"\+w* \+w break|strong="G4486"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the wine|strong="G3631"\+w* \+w runneth out|strong="G1632"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the bottles|strong="G0779"\+w* \+w perish|strong="G0622"\+w*: \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w they put|strong="G0906"\+w* \+w new|strong="G3501"\+w* \+w wine|strong="G3631"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w new|strong="G2537"\+w* \+w bottles|strong="G0779"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w both|strong="G0297"\+w* \+w are preserved|strong="G4933"\+w*.
18 While|strong="G2980" he|strong="G0846" spake|strong="G2980" these things|strong="G5023" unto them|strong="G0846", behold|strong="G2400", there came|strong="G2064" a certain ruler|strong="G0758", and|strong="G2064" worshipped|strong="G4352" him|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G3004", My|strong="G3450" daughter|strong="G2364" is|strong="G5053" even now|strong="G0737" dead|strong="G5053": but|strong="G0235" come and|strong="G2064" lay|strong="G2007" thy|strong="G4675" hand|strong="G5495" upon|strong="G1909" her|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" she shall live|strong="G2198".
19 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" arose, and|strong="G1453" followed|strong="G0190" him|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" so did his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101".
20 And|strong="G2532", behold|strong="G2400", a woman|strong="G1135", which was diseased with an issue of blood|strong="G0131" twelve|strong="G1427" years|strong="G2094", came|strong="G4334" behind|strong="G3693" him, and touched|strong="G0680" the hem|strong="G2899" of|strong="G2440" his|strong="G0846" garment|strong="G2440":
21 For|strong="G1063" she said|strong="G3004" within|strong="G1722" herself|strong="G1438", If|strong="G1437" I may|strong="G0680" but|strong="G3440" touch|strong="G0680" his|strong="G0846" garment|strong="G2440", I shall be whole|strong="G4982".
22 But|strong="G1161" Jesus|strong="G2424" turned him about|strong="G1994", and|strong="G2532" when he saw|strong="G1492" her|strong="G0846", he said|strong="G2036", \+w Daughter|strong="G2364"\+w*, \+w be of good comfort|strong="G2293"\+w*; \+w thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w faith|strong="G4102"\+w* \+w hath made|strong="G4982"\+w* \+w thee|strong="G4571"\+w* \+w whole|strong="G4982"\+w*. And|strong="G2532" the woman|strong="G1135" was made whole|strong="G4982" from|strong="G0575" that|strong="G1565" hour|strong="G5610".
23 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G2064" Jesus|strong="G2424" came|strong="G2064" into|strong="G1519" the ruler’s|strong="G0758" house|strong="G3614", and|strong="G2532" saw|strong="G1492" the minstrels|strong="G0834" and|strong="G2532" the people|strong="G3793" making a noise|strong="G2350",
24 He said|strong="G3004" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Give place|strong="G0402"\+w*: \+w for|strong="G1063"\+w* \+w the maid|strong="G2877"\+w* \+w is|strong="G0599"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w dead|strong="G0599"\+w*, \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w sleepeth|strong="G2518"\+w*. And|strong="G2532" they laughed|strong="G2606" him|strong="G0846" to scorn|strong="G2606".
25 But|strong="G1161" when|strong="G3753" the people|strong="G3793" were put forth|strong="G1544", he went in, and|strong="G1525" took|strong="G2902" her|strong="G0846" by the hand|strong="G5495", and|strong="G2532" the maid|strong="G2877" arose|strong="G1453".
26 And|strong="G2532" the fame|strong="G5345" hereof|strong="G3778" went abroad|strong="G1831" into|strong="G1519" all|strong="G3650" that|strong="G1565" land|strong="G1093".
27 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G3855" Jesus|strong="G2424" departed|strong="G3855" thence|strong="G1564", two|strong="G1417" blind men|strong="G5185" followed|strong="G0190" him|strong="G0846", crying|strong="G2896", and|strong="G2532" saying|strong="G3004", Thou Son|strong="G5207" of David|strong="G1138", have mercy on|strong="G1653" us|strong="G2248".
28 And|strong="G1161" when he was come|strong="G2064" into|strong="G1519" the house|strong="G3614", the blind men|strong="G5185" came|strong="G4334" to him|strong="G0846": and|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" saith|strong="G3004" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Believe ye|strong="G4100"\+w* \+w that|strong="G3754"\+w* \+w I am able|strong="G1410"\+w* \+w to do|strong="G4160"\+w* \+w this|strong="G5124"\+w*? They said|strong="G3004" unto him|strong="G0846", Yea|strong="G3483", Lord|strong="G2962".
29 Then|strong="G5119" touched he|strong="G0680" their|strong="G0846" eyes|strong="G3788", saying|strong="G3004", \+w According to|strong="G2596"\+w* \+w your|strong="G5216"\+w* \+w faith|strong="G4102"\+w* \+w be it|strong="G1096"\+w* \+w unto you|strong="G5213"\+w*.
30 And|strong="G2532" their|strong="G0846" eyes|strong="G3788" were opened|strong="G0455"; and|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" straitly charged|strong="G1690" them|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G3004", \+w See|strong="G3708"\+w* \+add that\+add* \+w no man|strong="G3367"\+w* \+w know|strong="G1097"\+w* \+add it\+add*.
31 But|strong="G1161" they|strong="G3588", when they were departed|strong="G1831", spread abroad|strong="G1310" his|strong="G0846" fame|strong="G1310" in|strong="G1722" all|strong="G3650" that|strong="G1565" country|strong="G1093".
32 As|strong="G1161" they|strong="G0846" went out|strong="G1831", behold|strong="G2400", they brought|strong="G4374" to him|strong="G0846" a dumb|strong="G2974" man|strong="G0444" possessed with a devil|strong="G1139".
33 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G1544" the devil|strong="G1140" was cast out|strong="G1544", the dumb|strong="G2974" spake|strong="G2980": and|strong="G2532" the multitudes|strong="G3793" marvelled|strong="G2296", saying|strong="G3004", It was|strong="G5316" never|strong="G3763" so|strong="G3779" seen|strong="G5316" in|strong="G1722" Israel|strong="G2474".
34 But|strong="G1161" the Pharisees|strong="G5330" said|strong="G3004", He casteth out|strong="G1544" devils|strong="G1140" through|strong="G1722" the prince|strong="G0758" of the devils|strong="G1140".
35 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" went about|strong="G4013" all|strong="G3956" the cities|strong="G4172" and|strong="G2532" villages|strong="G2968", teaching|strong="G1321" in|strong="G1722" their|strong="G0846" synagogues|strong="G4864", and|strong="G2532" preaching|strong="G2784" the gospel|strong="G2098" of the kingdom|strong="G0932", and|strong="G2532" healing|strong="G2323" every|strong="G3956" sickness|strong="G3554" and|strong="G2532" every|strong="G3956" disease|strong="G3119" among|strong="G1722" the people|strong="G2992".
36 But|strong="G1161" when he saw|strong="G1492" the multitudes|strong="G3793", he was moved with compassion|strong="G4697" on|strong="G4012" them|strong="G0846", because|strong="G3754" they|strong="G2258" fainted|strong="G1590", and|strong="G2532" were|strong="G2258" scattered abroad|strong="G4496", as|strong="G5616" sheep|strong="G4263" having|strong="G2192" no|strong="G3361" shepherd|strong="G4166".
37 Then|strong="G5119" saith he|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3101" his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101", \+w The harvest|strong="G2326"\+w* \+w truly|strong="G3303"\+w* \+add is\+add* \+w plenteous|strong="G4183"\+w*, \+w but|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w the labourers|strong="G2040"\+w* \+add are\+add* \+w few|strong="G3641"\+w*;
38 \+w Pray ye|strong="G1189"\+w* \+w therefore|strong="G3767"\+w* \+w the Lord|strong="G2962"\+w* \+w of the harvest|strong="G2326"\+w*, \+w that|strong="G3704"\+w* \+w he will send forth|strong="G1544"\+w* \+w labourers|strong="G2040"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w harvest|strong="G2326"\+w*.
