Levítico 13

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* spake|strong="H1696" unto Moses|strong="H4872" and Aaron|strong="H0175", saying|strong="H0559",

When a man|strong="H0120" shall have in the skin|strong="H5785" of his flesh|strong="H1320" a rising|strong="H7613", a scab|strong="H5597", or bright spot|strong="H0934", and it be in the skin|strong="H5785" of his flesh|strong="H1320" like the plague|strong="H5061" of leprosy|strong="H6883"; then he shall be brought|strong="H0935" unto Aaron|strong="H0175" the priest|strong="H3548", or unto one|strong="H0259" of his sons|strong="H1121" the priests|strong="H3548":

And the priest|strong="H3548" shall look|strong="H7200" on the plague|strong="H5061" in the skin|strong="H5785" of the flesh|strong="H1320": and when the hair|strong="H8181" in the plague|strong="H5061" is turned|strong="H2015" white|strong="H3836", and the plague|strong="H5061" in sight|strong="H4758" be deeper|strong="H6013" than the skin|strong="H5785" of his flesh|strong="H1320", it is a plague|strong="H5061" of leprosy|strong="H6883": and the priest|strong="H3548" shall look|strong="H7200" on him, and pronounce him unclean|strong="H2930".

If the bright spot|strong="H0934" be white|strong="H3836" in the skin|strong="H5785" of his flesh|strong="H1320", and in sight|strong="H4758" be not deeper|strong="H6013" than the skin|strong="H5785", and the hair|strong="H8181" thereof be not turned|strong="H2015" white|strong="H3836"; then the priest|strong="H3548" shall shut|strong="H5462" up him that hath the plague|strong="H5061" seven|strong="H7651" days|strong="H3117":

And the priest|strong="H3548" shall look|strong="H7200" on him the seventh|strong="H7637" day|strong="H3117": and, behold, if the plague|strong="H5061" in his sight|strong="H5869" be at a stay|strong="H5975", and the plague|strong="H5061" spread|strong="H6581" not in the skin|strong="H5785"; then the priest|strong="H3548" shall shut|strong="H5462" him up seven|strong="H7651" days|strong="H3117" more|strong="H8145":

And the priest|strong="H3548" shall look|strong="H7200" on him again|strong="H8145" the seventh|strong="H7637" day|strong="H3117": and, behold, if the plague|strong="H5061" be somewhat dark|strong="H3544", and the plague|strong="H5061" spread|strong="H6581" not in the skin|strong="H5785", the priest|strong="H3548" shall pronounce him clean|strong="H2891": it is but a scab|strong="H4556": and he shall wash|strong="H3526" his clothes|strong="H0899", and be clean|strong="H2891".

But if the scab|strong="H4556" spread much|strong="H6581" abroad|strong="H6581" in the skin|strong="H5785", after|strong="H0310" that he hath been seen|strong="H7200" of the priest|strong="H3548" for his cleansing|strong="H2893", he shall be seen|strong="H7200" of the priest|strong="H3548" again|strong="H8145":

And if the priest|strong="H3548" see|strong="H7200" that, behold, the scab|strong="H4556" spreadeth|strong="H6581" in the skin|strong="H5785", then the priest|strong="H3548" shall pronounce him unclean|strong="H2930": it is a leprosy|strong="H6883".

When the plague|strong="H5061" of leprosy|strong="H6883" is in a man|strong="H0120", then he shall be brought|strong="H0935" unto the priest|strong="H3548";

And the priest|strong="H3548" shall see|strong="H7200" him: and, behold, if the rising|strong="H7613" be white|strong="H3836" in the skin|strong="H5785", and it have turned|strong="H2015" the hair|strong="H8181" white|strong="H3836", and there be quick|strong="H4241" raw|strong="H2416" flesh|strong="H1320" in the rising|strong="H7613";

It is an old|strong="H3462" leprosy|strong="H6883" in the skin|strong="H5785" of his flesh|strong="H1320", and the priest|strong="H3548" shall pronounce him unclean|strong="H2930", and shall not shut|strong="H5462" him up: for he is unclean|strong="H2931".

And if a leprosy|strong="H6883" break out|strong="H6524" abroad|strong="H6524" in the skin|strong="H5785", and the leprosy|strong="H6883" cover|strong="H3680" all the skin|strong="H5785" of him that hath the plague|strong="H5061" from his head|strong="H7218" even to his foot|strong="H7272", wheresoever the priest|strong="H3548" looketh|strong="H4758";

Then the priest|strong="H3548" shall consider|strong="H7200": and, behold, if the leprosy|strong="H6883" have covered|strong="H3680" all his flesh|strong="H1320", he shall pronounce him clean|strong="H2891" that hath the plague|strong="H5061": it is all turned|strong="H2015" white|strong="H3836": he is clean|strong="H2889".

But when|strong="H3117" raw|strong="H2416" flesh|strong="H1320" appeareth|strong="H7200" in him, he shall be unclean|strong="H2930".

And the priest|strong="H3548" shall see|strong="H7200" the raw|strong="H2416" flesh|strong="H1320", and pronounce him to be unclean|strong="H2930": for the raw|strong="H2416" flesh|strong="H1320" is unclean|strong="H2931": it is a leprosy|strong="H6883".

Or if the raw|strong="H2416" flesh|strong="H1320" turn again|strong="H7725", and be changed|strong="H2015" unto white|strong="H3836", he shall come|strong="H0935" unto the priest|strong="H3548";

And the priest|strong="H3548" shall see|strong="H7200" him: and, behold, if the plague|strong="H5061" be turned|strong="H2015" into white|strong="H3836"; then the priest|strong="H3548" shall pronounce him clean|strong="H2891" that hath the plague|strong="H5061": he is clean|strong="H2889".

The flesh|strong="H1320" also, in which|strong="H3588", even in the skin|strong="H5785" thereof, was a boil|strong="H7822", and is healed|strong="H7495",

And in the place|strong="H4725" of the boil|strong="H7822" there be a white|strong="H3836" rising|strong="H7613", or a bright spot|strong="H0934", white|strong="H3836", and somewhat reddish|strong="H0125", and it be shewed|strong="H7200" to the priest|strong="H3548";

And if, when the priest|strong="H3548" seeth|strong="H7200" it, behold, it be in sight|strong="H4758" lower|strong="H8217" than the skin|strong="H5785", and the hair|strong="H8181" thereof be turned|strong="H2015" white|strong="H3836"; the priest|strong="H3548" shall pronounce him unclean|strong="H2930": it is a plague|strong="H5061" of leprosy|strong="H6883" broken|strong="H6524" out of the boil|strong="H7822".

But if the priest|strong="H3548" look|strong="H7200" on it, and, behold, there be no white|strong="H3836" hairs|strong="H8181" therein, and if it be not lower|strong="H8217" than the skin|strong="H5785", but be somewhat dark|strong="H3544"; then the priest|strong="H3548" shall shut|strong="H5462" him up seven|strong="H7651" days|strong="H3117":

And if it spread much|strong="H6581" abroad|strong="H6581" in the skin|strong="H5785", then the priest|strong="H3548" shall pronounce him unclean|strong="H2930": it is a plague|strong="H5061".

But if the bright spot|strong="H0934" stay|strong="H5975" in his place, and spread|strong="H6581" not, it is a burning|strong="H6867" boil|strong="H7822"; and the priest|strong="H3548" shall pronounce him clean|strong="H2891".

Or if there be any flesh|strong="H1320", in the skin|strong="H5785" whereof there is a hot|strong="H0784" burning|strong="H4348", and the quick|strong="H4241" flesh that burneth|strong="H4348" have a white|strong="H3836" bright spot|strong="H0934", somewhat reddish|strong="H0125", or white|strong="H3836";

Then the priest|strong="H3548" shall look|strong="H7200" upon it: and, behold, if the hair|strong="H8181" in the bright spot|strong="H0934" be turned|strong="H2015" white|strong="H3836", and it be in sight|strong="H4758" deeper|strong="H6013" than the skin|strong="H5785"; it is a leprosy|strong="H6883" broken|strong="H6524" out of the burning|strong="H4348": wherefore the priest|strong="H3548" shall pronounce him unclean|strong="H2930": it is the plague|strong="H5061" of leprosy|strong="H6883".

But if the priest|strong="H3548" look|strong="H7200" on it, and, behold, there be no white|strong="H3836" hair|strong="H8181" in the bright spot|strong="H0934", and it be no lower|strong="H8217" than the other skin|strong="H5785", but be somewhat dark|strong="H3544"; then the priest|strong="H3548" shall shut|strong="H5462" him up seven|strong="H7651" days|strong="H3117":

And the priest|strong="H3548" shall look|strong="H7200" upon him the seventh|strong="H7637" day|strong="H3117": and if it be spread much|strong="H6581" abroad|strong="H6581" in the skin|strong="H5785", then the priest|strong="H3548" shall pronounce him unclean|strong="H2930": it is the plague|strong="H5061" of leprosy|strong="H6883".

And if the bright|strong="H0934" spot|strong="H0934" stay|strong="H5975" in his place, and spread|strong="H6581" not in the skin|strong="H5785", but it be somewhat dark|strong="H3544"; it is a rising|strong="H7613" of the burning|strong="H4348", and the priest|strong="H3548" shall pronounce him clean|strong="H2891": for it is an inflammation|strong="H6867" of the burning|strong="H4348".

If a man|strong="H0376" or woman|strong="H0802" have a plague|strong="H5061" upon the head|strong="H7218" or the beard|strong="H2206";

Then the priest|strong="H3548" shall see|strong="H7200" the plague|strong="H5061": and, behold, if it be in sight|strong="H4758" deeper|strong="H6013" than the skin|strong="H5785"; and there be in it a yellow|strong="H6669" thin|strong="H1851" hair|strong="H8181"; then the priest|strong="H3548" shall pronounce him unclean|strong="H2930": it is a dry scall|strong="H5424", even a leprosy|strong="H6883" upon the head|strong="H7218" or beard|strong="H2206".

And if the priest|strong="H3548" look|strong="H7200" on the plague|strong="H5061" of the scall|strong="H5424", and, behold, it be not in sight|strong="H4758" deeper|strong="H6013" than the skin|strong="H5785", and that there is no black|strong="H7838" hair|strong="H8181" in it; then the priest|strong="H3548" shall shut|strong="H5462" up him that hath the plague|strong="H5061" of the scall|strong="H5424" seven|strong="H7651" days|strong="H3117":

And in the seventh|strong="H7637" day|strong="H3117" the priest|strong="H3548" shall look|strong="H7200" on the plague|strong="H5061": and, behold, if the scall|strong="H5424" spread|strong="H6581" not, and there be in it no yellow|strong="H6669" hair|strong="H8181", and the scall|strong="H5424" be not in sight|strong="H4758" deeper|strong="H6013" than the skin|strong="H5785";

He shall be shaven|strong="H1548", but the scall|strong="H5424" shall he not shave|strong="H1548"; and the priest|strong="H3548" shall shut|strong="H5462" up him that hath the scall|strong="H5424" seven|strong="H7651" days|strong="H3117" more|strong="H8145":

And in the seventh|strong="H7637" day|strong="H3117" the priest|strong="H3548" shall look|strong="H7200" on the scall|strong="H5424": and, behold, if the scall|strong="H5424" be not spread|strong="H6581" in the skin|strong="H5785", nor be in sight|strong="H4758" deeper|strong="H6013" than the skin|strong="H5785"; then the priest|strong="H3548" shall pronounce him clean|strong="H2891": and he shall wash|strong="H3526" his clothes|strong="H0899", and be clean|strong="H2891".

But if the scall|strong="H5424" spread|strong="H6581" much|strong="H6581" in the skin|strong="H5785" after|strong="H0310" his cleansing|strong="H2893";

Then the priest|strong="H3548" shall look|strong="H7200" on him: and, behold, if the scall|strong="H5424" be spread|strong="H6581" in the skin|strong="H5785", the priest|strong="H3548" shall not seek|strong="H1239" for yellow|strong="H6669" hair|strong="H8181"; he is unclean|strong="H2931".

But if the scall|strong="H5424" be in his sight|strong="H5869" at a stay|strong="H5975", and that there is black|strong="H7838" hair|strong="H8181" grown|strong="H6779" up therein; the scall|strong="H5424" is healed|strong="H7495", he is clean|strong="H2889": and the priest|strong="H3548" shall pronounce him clean|strong="H2891".

If a man|strong="H0376" also or a woman|strong="H0802" have in the skin|strong="H5785" of their flesh|strong="H1320" bright spots|strong="H0934", even white|strong="H3836" bright spots|strong="H0934";

Then the priest|strong="H3548" shall look|strong="H7200": and, behold, if the bright spots|strong="H0934" in the skin|strong="H5785" of their flesh|strong="H1320" be darkish|strong="H3544" white|strong="H3836"; it is a freckled spot|strong="H0933" that groweth|strong="H6524" in the skin|strong="H5785"; he is clean|strong="H2889".

And the man|strong="H0376" whose hair is fallen|strong="H4803" off his head|strong="H7218", he is bald|strong="H7142"; yet is he clean|strong="H2889".

And he that hath his hair fallen|strong="H4803" off from the part|strong="H6285" of his head|strong="H7218" toward his face|strong="H6440", he is forehead bald|strong="H1371": yet is he clean|strong="H2889".

And if there be in the bald head|strong="H7146", or bald forehead|strong="H1372", a white|strong="H3836" reddish|strong="H0125" sore|strong="H5061"; it is a leprosy|strong="H6883" sprung|strong="H6524" up in his bald head|strong="H7146", or his bald forehead|strong="H1372".

Then the priest|strong="H3548" shall look|strong="H7200" upon it: and, behold, if the rising|strong="H7613" of the sore|strong="H5061" be white|strong="H3836" reddish|strong="H0125" in his bald head|strong="H7146", or in his bald forehead|strong="H1372", as the leprosy|strong="H6883" appeareth|strong="H4758" in the skin|strong="H5785" of the flesh|strong="H1320";

He is a leprous|strong="H6879" man|strong="H0376", he is unclean|strong="H2931": the priest|strong="H3548" shall pronounce him utterly|strong="H2930" unclean|strong="H2930"; his plague|strong="H5061" is in his head|strong="H7218".

And the leper|strong="H6879" in whom the plague|strong="H5061" is, his clothes|strong="H0899" shall be rent|strong="H6533", and his head|strong="H7218" bare|strong="H6544", and he shall put a covering|strong="H5844" upon his upper lip|strong="H8222", and shall cry|strong="H7121", Unclean|strong="H2931", unclean|strong="H2931".

All the days|strong="H3117" wherein the plague|strong="H5061" shall be in him he shall be defiled|strong="H2930"; he is unclean|strong="H2931": he shall dwell|strong="H3427" alone|strong="H0910"; without|strong="H2351" the camp|strong="H4264" shall his habitation|strong="H4186" be.

The garment|strong="H0899" also that the plague|strong="H5061" of leprosy|strong="H6883" is in, whether it be a woollen|strong="H6785" garment|strong="H0899", or a linen|strong="H6593" garment|strong="H0899";

Whether it be in the warp|strong="H8359", or woof|strong="H6154"; of linen|strong="H6593", or of woollen|strong="H6785"; whether in a skin|strong="H5785", or in any thing made|strong="H4399" of skin|strong="H5785";

And if the plague|strong="H5061" be greenish|strong="H3422" or reddish|strong="H0125" in the garment|strong="H0899", or in the skin|strong="H5785", either|strong="H0176" in the warp|strong="H8359", or in the woof|strong="H6154", or in any thing|strong="H3627" of skin|strong="H5785"; it is a plague|strong="H5061" of leprosy|strong="H6883", and shall be shewed|strong="H7200" unto the priest|strong="H3548":

And the priest|strong="H3548" shall look|strong="H7200" upon the plague|strong="H5061", and shut|strong="H5462" up it that hath the plague|strong="H5061" seven|strong="H7651" days|strong="H3117":

And he shall look|strong="H7200" on the plague|strong="H5061" on the seventh|strong="H7637" day|strong="H3117": if the plague|strong="H5061" be spread|strong="H6581" in the garment|strong="H0899", either in the warp|strong="H8359", or in the woof|strong="H6154", or in a skin|strong="H5785", or in any work|strong="H4399" that is made|strong="H6213" of skin|strong="H5785"; the plague|strong="H5061" is a fretting|strong="H3992" leprosy|strong="H6883"; it is unclean|strong="H2931".

He shall therefore burn|strong="H8313" that garment|strong="H0899", whether warp|strong="H8359" or woof|strong="H6154", in woollen|strong="H6785" or in linen|strong="H6593", or any thing|strong="H3627" of skin|strong="H5785", wherein the plague|strong="H5061" is: for it is a fretting|strong="H3992" leprosy|strong="H6883"; it shall be burnt|strong="H8313" in the fire|strong="H0784".

And if the priest|strong="H3548" shall look|strong="H7200", and, behold, the plague|strong="H5061" be not spread|strong="H6581" in the garment|strong="H0899", either|strong="H0176" in the warp|strong="H8359", or|strong="H0176" in the woof|strong="H6154", or|strong="H0176" in any thing|strong="H3627" of skin|strong="H5785";

Then the priest|strong="H3548" shall command|strong="H6680" that they wash|strong="H3526" the thing wherein the plague|strong="H5061" is, and he shall shut|strong="H5462" it up seven|strong="H7651" days|strong="H3117" more|strong="H8145":

And the priest|strong="H3548" shall look|strong="H7200" on the plague|strong="H5061", after|strong="H0310" that it is washed|strong="H3526": and, behold, if the plague|strong="H5061" have not changed|strong="H2015" his colour|strong="H5869", and the plague|strong="H5061" be not spread|strong="H6581"; it is unclean|strong="H2931"; thou shalt burn|strong="H8313" it in the fire|strong="H0784"; it is fret|strong="H6356" inward, whether it be bare within|strong="H7146" or without|strong="H1372".

And if the priest|strong="H3548" look|strong="H7200", and, behold, the plague|strong="H5061" be somewhat dark|strong="H3544" after|strong="H0310" the washing|strong="H3526" of it; then he shall rend|strong="H7167" it out of the garment|strong="H0899", or out of the skin|strong="H5785", or out of the warp|strong="H8359", or out of the woof|strong="H6154":

And if it appear|strong="H7200" still|strong="H5750" in the garment|strong="H0899", either in the warp|strong="H8359", or in the woof|strong="H6154", or in any thing|strong="H3627" of skin|strong="H5785"; it is a spreading|strong="H6524" plague: thou shalt burn|strong="H8313" that wherein the plague|strong="H5061" is with fire|strong="H0784".

And the garment|strong="H0899", either warp|strong="H8359", or woof|strong="H6154", or whatsoever thing|strong="H3627" of skin|strong="H5785" it be, which thou shalt wash|strong="H3526", if the plague|strong="H5061" be departed|strong="H5493" from them, then it shall be washed|strong="H3526" the second|strong="H8145" time, and shall be clean|strong="H2891".

This is the law|strong="H8451" of the plague|strong="H5061" of leprosy|strong="H6883" in a garment|strong="H0899" of woollen|strong="H6785" or linen|strong="H6593", either in the warp|strong="H8359", or woof|strong="H6154", or any thing|strong="H3627" of skins|strong="H5785", to pronounce it clean|strong="H2891", or to pronounce it unclean|strong="H2930".
