2 And|strong="G1161" a certain|strong="G5100" centurion’s|strong="G1543" servant|strong="G1401", who|strong="G3739" was|strong="G2258" dear|strong="G1784" unto him|strong="G0846", was|strong="G2192" sick|strong="G2560", and ready|strong="G3195" to die|strong="G5053".
3 And|strong="G1161" when he heard|strong="G0191" of|strong="G4012" Jesus|strong="G2424", he sent|strong="G0649" unto|strong="G4314" him|strong="G0846" the elders|strong="G4245" of the Jews|strong="G2453", beseeching|strong="G2065" him|strong="G0846" that|strong="G3704" he would come|strong="G2064" and heal|strong="G1295" his|strong="G0846" servant|strong="G1401".

11 And|strong="G2532" it came to pass|strong="G1096" the day after|strong="G1836", that he went|strong="G4198" into|strong="G1519" a city|strong="G4172" called|strong="G2564" Nain|strong="G3484"; and|strong="G2532" many|strong="G2425" of his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101" went with|strong="G4848" him|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" much|strong="G4183" people|strong="G3793".

21 And|strong="G1161" in|strong="G1722" that|strong="G3588" same|strong="G0846" hour|strong="G5610" he cured|strong="G2323" many|strong="G4183" of|strong="G0575" their infirmities|strong="G3554" and|strong="G2532" plagues|strong="G3148", and|strong="G2532" of evil|strong="G4190" spirits|strong="G4151"; and|strong="G2532" unto many|strong="G4183" that were blind|strong="G5185" he gave|strong="G5483" sight|strong="G0991".

26 \+w But|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w what|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w went ye out|strong="G1831"\+w* \+w for to see|strong="G1492"\+w*? \+w A prophet|strong="G4396"\+w*? \+w Yea|strong="G3483"\+w*, \+w I say|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w unto you|strong="G5213"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w much more than|strong="G4053"\+w* \+w a prophet|strong="G4396"\+w*.

30 But|strong="G1161" the Pharisees|strong="G5330" and|strong="G2532" lawyers|strong="G3544" rejected|strong="G0114" the counsel|strong="G1012" of God|strong="G2316" against|strong="G1519" themselves|strong="G1438", being|strong="G0907" not|strong="G3361" baptized|strong="G0907" of|strong="G5259" him|strong="G0846".
31 And|strong="G1161" the Lord|strong="G2962" said|strong="G2036", \+w Whereunto|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w then|strong="G3767"\+w* \+w shall I liken|strong="G3666"\+w* \+w the men|strong="G0444"\+w* \+w of this|strong="G3778"\+w* \+w generation|strong="G1074"\+w*? \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w to what|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w are they|strong="G1526"\+w* \+w like|strong="G3664"\+w*?

36 And|strong="G1161" one|strong="G5100" of the Pharisees|strong="G5330" desired|strong="G2065" him|strong="G0846" that|strong="G2443" he would eat|strong="G5315" with|strong="G3326" him|strong="G0846". And|strong="G2532" he went|strong="G1525" into|strong="G1519" the Pharisee’s|strong="G5330" house|strong="G3614", and sat down to meat|strong="G0347".
37 And|strong="G2532", behold|strong="G2400", a woman|strong="G1135" in|strong="G1722" the city|strong="G4172", which|strong="G3748" was|strong="G2258" a sinner|strong="G0268", when she knew|strong="G1921" that|strong="G3754" Jesus sat at meat|strong="G0345" in|strong="G1722" the Pharisee’s|strong="G5330" house|strong="G3614", brought|strong="G2865" an alabaster box|strong="G0211" of ointment|strong="G3464",
38 And|strong="G2532" stood|strong="G2476" at|strong="G3844" his|strong="G0846" feet|strong="G4228" behind|strong="G3694" him weeping|strong="G2799", and began|strong="G0756" to wash|strong="G1026" his|strong="G0846" feet|strong="G4228" with tears|strong="G1144", and|strong="G2532" did wipe|strong="G1591" them with the hairs|strong="G2359" of her|strong="G0846" head|strong="G2776", and|strong="G2532" kissed|strong="G2705" his|strong="G0846" feet|strong="G4228", and|strong="G2532" anointed|strong="G0218" them with the ointment|strong="G3464".
