1 Enquanto isso ajuntou-se uma multidão de inúmeras pessoas, de tal modo que pisoteavam umas as outras, e ele começou a dizer primeiro aos seus discípulos: Cuidado com o fermento dos fariseus, que é a hipocrisia.

2 Porque não há nada encoberto que não seja revelado, nem oculto que não venha a se tornar conhecido.

3 Porquanto tudo o que em trevas falastes, será ouvido na luz, e o que nos quartos tiverdes falado nos ouvidos, será proclamado dos telhados.

4 E eu vos digo meus amigos: Não tenham medo dos que matam o corpo e depois não têm mais o que fazer.

5 Mas eu vos mostrarei a quem deveis temer: Temei aquele que, depois de matar, tem poder para lançar no inferno; sim, eu vos digo, a esse temei.

6 Não se vendem cinco pardais por dois asses e nenhum deles fica esquecido diante de Deus?

7 Mas até os cabelos da vossa cabeça estão todos contados. Não temais, porque valeis mais do que muitos pardais.

8 Eu também vos digo: Todo aquele que me confessar diante dos homens, também o Filho do homem o confessará diante dos anjos de Deus;

9 mas quem me negar diante dos homens, será negado diante dos anjos de Deus.
10 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w whosoever|strong="G3956"\+w* \+w shall speak|strong="G2046"\+w* \+w a word|strong="G3056"\+w* \+w against|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w the Son|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w of man|strong="G0444"\+w*, \+w it shall be forgiven|strong="G0863"\+w* \+w him|strong="G0846"\+w*: \+w but|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w unto him that blasphemeth|strong="G0987"\+w* \+w against|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w the Holy|strong="G0040"\+w* \+w Ghost|strong="G4151"\+w* \+w it shall|strong="G0863"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w be forgiven|strong="G0863"\+w*.
10 E a todo aquele que falar uma palavra contra o Filho do homem, lhe será perdoada, mas ao que blasfemar contra o Espírito Santo não lhe será perdoado.
11 \+w And|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w when|strong="G3752"\+w* \+w they bring|strong="G4374"\+w* \+w you|strong="G5209"\+w* \+w unto|strong="G1909"\+w* \+w the synagogues|strong="G4864"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+add unto\+add* \+w magistrates|strong="G0746"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w powers|strong="G1849"\+w*, \+w take ye|strong="G3309"\+w* \+w no|strong="G3361"\+w* \+w thought|strong="G3309"\+w* \+w how|strong="G4459"\+w* \+w or|strong="G2228"\+w* \+w what thing|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w ye shall answer|strong="G0626"\+w*, \+w or|strong="G2228"\+w* \+w what|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w ye shall say|strong="G2036"\+w*:
11 E, quando eles vos conduzirem às sinagogas, aos magistrados e poderosos, não cuideis de como ou o que respondereis, ou o que direis;
12 \+w For|strong="G1063"\+w* \+w the Holy|strong="G0040"\+w* \+w Ghost|strong="G4151"\+w* \+w shall teach|strong="G1321"\+w* \+w you|strong="G5209"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w the same|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w hour|strong="G5610"\+w* \+w what|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w ye ought|strong="G1163"\+w* \+w to say|strong="G2036"\+w*.
12 porque o Espírito Santo vos ensinará na mesma hora o que deveis dizer.
13 And one|strong="G5100" of|strong="G1537" the company|strong="G3793" said|strong="G1161" unto him|strong="G0846", Master|strong="G1320", speak|strong="G2036" to|strong="G0080" my|strong="G3450" brother|strong="G0080", that he divide|strong="G3307" the inheritance|strong="G2817" with|strong="G3326" me|strong="G1700".
13 E disse-lhe um da multidão: Mestre, fala ao meu irmão que ele divida comigo a herança.
14 And|strong="G1161" he said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", \+w Man|strong="G0444"\+w*, \+w who|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w made|strong="G2525"\+w* \+w me|strong="G3165"\+w* \+w a judge|strong="G1348"\+w* \+w or|strong="G2228"\+w* \+w a divider|strong="G3312"\+w* \+w over|strong="G1909"\+w* \+w you|strong="G5209"\+w*?
14 E ele lhe disse: Homem, quem me fez por juiz ou um divisor entre vós?
15 And|strong="G1161" he said|strong="G2036" unto|strong="G4314" them|strong="G0846", \+w Take heed|strong="G3708"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w beware|strong="G5442"\+w* \+w of|strong="G0575"\+w* \+w covetousness|strong="G4124"\+w*: \+w for|strong="G3754"\+w* \+w a man’s|strong="G5100"\+w* \+w life|strong="G2222"\+w* \+w consisteth|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w the abundance|strong="G4052"\+w* \+w of|strong="G1537"\+w* \+w the things which|strong="G5224"\+w* \+w he|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w possesseth|strong="G5224"\+w*.
15 E ele disse-lhes: Acautelai-vos e guardai-vos da cobiça; porque a vida do homem não consiste na abundância das coisas que ele possui.
16 And|strong="G1161" he spake|strong="G2036" a parable|strong="G3850" unto|strong="G4314" them|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G3004", \+w The ground|strong="G5561"\+w* \+w of a certain|strong="G5100"\+w* \+w rich|strong="G4145"\+w* \+w man|strong="G0444"\+w* \+w brought forth plentifully|strong="G2164"\+w*:
16 E ele falou-lhes uma parábola, dizendo: A terra de um certo homem rico produziu com abundância;
17 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w he thought|strong="G1260"\+w* \+w within|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w himself|strong="G1438"\+w*, \+w saying|strong="G3004"\+w*, \+w What|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w shall I do|strong="G4160"\+w*, \+w because|strong="G3754"\+w* \+w I have|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w no|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w room where|strong="G4226"\+w* \+w to bestow|strong="G4863"\+w* \+w my|strong="G3450"\+w* \+w fruits|strong="G2590"\+w*?
17 e ele pensava consigo mesmo, dizendo: O que eu farei pois não tenho espaço para guardar os meus frutos?
18 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w he said|strong="G2036"\+w*, \+w This|strong="G5124"\+w* \+w will I do|strong="G4160"\+w*: \+w I will pull down|strong="G2507"\+w* \+w my|strong="G3450"\+w* \+w barns|strong="G0596"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w build|strong="G3618"\+w* \+w greater|strong="G3173"\+w*; \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w there|strong="G1563"\+w* \+w will I bestow|strong="G4863"\+w* \+w all|strong="G3956"\+w* \+w my|strong="G3450"\+w* \+w fruits|strong="G1081"\+w* \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w my|strong="G3450"\+w* \+w goods|strong="G0018"\+w*.
18 E ele disse: Eu farei isto: derrubarei os meus celeiros, e edificarei maiores, e ali eu colocarei todos os meus frutos e os meus bens.
19 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w I will say|strong="G2046"\+w* \+w to|strong="G5590"\+w* \+w my|strong="G3450"\+w* \+w soul|strong="G5590"\+w*, \+w Soul|strong="G5590"\+w*, \+w thou hast|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w much|strong="G4183"\+w* \+w goods|strong="G0018"\+w* \+w laid up|strong="G2749"\+w* \+w for|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w many|strong="G4183"\+w* \+w years|strong="G2094"\+w*; \+w take thine ease|strong="G0373"\+w*, \+w eat|strong="G5315"\+w*, \+w drink|strong="G4095"\+w*, \+add and\+add* \+w be merry|strong="G2165"\+w*.
19 E eu direi à minha alma: Alma, tens em depósito muitos bens, para muitos anos; descansa, come, bebe e alegra-te.
20 \+w But|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w God|strong="G2316"\+w* \+w said|strong="G2036"\+w* \+w unto him|strong="G0846"\+w*, \+add Thou\+add* \+w fool|strong="G0878"\+w*, \+w this|strong="G3778"\+w* \+w night|strong="G3571"\+w* \+w thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w soul|strong="G5590"\+w* \+w shall be required|strong="G0523"\+w* \+w of|strong="G0575"\+w* \+w thee|strong="G4675"\+w*: \+w then|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w whose|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w shall|strong="G2071"\+w* \+w those things|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w be|strong="G2071"\+w*, \+w which|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w thou hast provided|strong="G2090"\+w*?
20 Mas Deus lhe disse: Tolo, esta noite te requisitarão tua alma, e de quem serão estas coisas que tu preparaste?
21 \+w So|strong="G3779"\+w* \+add is\+add* \+w he that layeth up treasure|strong="G2343"\+w* \+w for himself|strong="G1438"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w is|strong="G4147"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3361"\+w* \+w rich|strong="G4147"\+w* \+w toward|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w God|strong="G2316"\+w*.
21 Assim é aquele que para si ajunta tesouros, e não é rico para com Deus.
22 And|strong="G1161" he said|strong="G2036" unto|strong="G4314" his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101", \+w Therefore|strong="G1223"\+w* \+w I say|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w unto you|strong="G5213"\+w*, \+w Take|strong="G3309"\+w* \+w no|strong="G3361"\+w* \+w thought|strong="G3309"\+w* \+w for|strong="G5590"\+w* \+w your|strong="G5216"\+w* \+w life|strong="G5590"\+w*, \+w what|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w ye shall eat|strong="G5315"\+w*; \+w neither|strong="G3366"\+w* \+w for the body|strong="G4983"\+w*, \+w what|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w ye shall put on|strong="G1746"\+w*.
22 E ele disse aos seus discípulos: Por isso eu vos digo: Não sejais cuidadosos quanto à vossa vida, pelo que haveis de comer, nem quanto ao vosso corpo, pelo que haveis de vestir.
23 \+w The life|strong="G5590"\+w* \+w is|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w more|strong="G4119"\+w* \+w than meat|strong="G5160"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the body|strong="G4983"\+w* \+add is more\+add* \+w than raiment|strong="G1742"\+w*.
23 A vida é mais do que a comida, e o corpo é mais do que o vestuário.
24 \+w Consider|strong="G2657"\+w* \+w the ravens|strong="G2876"\+w*: \+w for|strong="G3754"\+w* \+w they|strong="G4687"\+w* \+w neither|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w sow|strong="G4687"\+w* \+w nor|strong="G3761"\+w* \+w reap|strong="G2325"\+w*; \+w which|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w neither|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w have|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w storehouse|strong="G5009"\+w* \+w nor|strong="G3761"\+w* \+w barn|strong="G0596"\+w*; \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w God|strong="G2316"\+w* \+w feedeth|strong="G5142"\+w* \+w them|strong="G0846"\+w*: \+w how much|strong="G4214"\+w* \+w more|strong="G3123"\+w* \+w are|strong="G1308"\+w* \+w ye|strong="G5210"\+w* \+w better|strong="G1308"\+w* \+w than the fowls|strong="G4071"\+w*?
24 Considerai os corvos, que não semeiam, nem colhem, nem têm despensa, nem celeiro, e Deus os alimenta; quanto mais sois vós mais valiosos do que as aves?
25 \+w And|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w which|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w of|strong="G1537"\+w* \+w you|strong="G5216"\+w* \+w with taking thought|strong="G3308"\+w* \+w can|strong="G1410"\+w* \+w add|strong="G4369"\+w* \+w to|strong="G1909"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w stature|strong="G2244"\+w* \+w one|strong="G1520"\+w* \+w cubit|strong="G4083"\+w*?
25 E qual de vós poderá, com os seus cuidados, acrescentar um côvado à sua estatura?
26 \+w If|strong="G1487"\+w* \+w ye|strong="G1410"\+w* \+w then|strong="G3767"\+w* \+w be not|strong="G3777"\+w* \+w able to do|strong="G1410"\+w* \+w that thing which is least|strong="G1646"\+w*, \+w why|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w take ye thought|strong="G3309"\+w* \+w for|strong="G4012"\+w* \+w the rest|strong="G3062"\+w*?
26 Então se não sois capazes de fazer as coisas mínimas, por que andais cuidadosos com o restante?
27 \+w Consider|strong="G2657"\+w* \+w the lilies|strong="G2918"\+w* \+w how|strong="G4459"\+w* \+w they grow|strong="G0837"\+w*: \+w they toil|strong="G2872"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w*, \+w they spin|strong="G3514"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3761"\+w*; \+w and yet|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w I say|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w unto you|strong="G5213"\+w*, \+w that|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w Solomon|strong="G4672"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w all|strong="G3956"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w glory|strong="G1391"\+w* \+w was|strong="G4016"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3761"\+w* \+w arrayed|strong="G4016"\+w* \+w like|strong="G5613"\+w* \+w one|strong="G1520"\+w* \+w of these|strong="G5130"\+w*.
27 Considerai os lírios, como eles crescem; eles não trabalham, nem fiam; e eu vos digo que Salomão em toda a sua glória não se vestiu como um deles.
28 \+w If|strong="G1487"\+w* \+w then|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w God|strong="G2316"\+w* \+w so|strong="G3779"\+w* \+w clothe|strong="G0294"\+w* \+w the grass|strong="G5528"\+w*, \+w which is|strong="G5607"\+w* \+w to day|strong="G4594"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w the field|strong="G0068"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w to morrow|strong="G0839"\+w* \+w is cast|strong="G0906"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w the oven|strong="G2823"\+w*; \+w how much|strong="G4214"\+w* \+w more|strong="G3123"\+w* \+add will he clothe\+add* \+w you|strong="G5209"\+w*, \+w O ye of little faith|strong="G3640"\+w*?
28 Então se Deus assim veste a erva, que hoje está no campo e amanhã é lançada no forno, quanto mais vestirá a vós, Oh pequena fé?
29 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w seek|strong="G2212"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3361"\+w* \+w ye|strong="G5210"\+w* \+w what|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w ye shall eat|strong="G5315"\+w*, \+w or|strong="G2228"\+w* \+w what|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w ye shall drink|strong="G4095"\+w*, \+w neither|strong="G3361"\+w* \+w be ye of doubtful mind|strong="G3349"\+w*.
29 E não busqueis o que comer, ou o que beber, nem sejais de mente duvidosa.
30 \+w For|strong="G1063"\+w* \+w all|strong="G3956"\+w* \+w these things|strong="G5023"\+w* \+w do|strong="G1934"\+w* \+w the nations|strong="G1484"\+w* \+w of the world|strong="G2889"\+w* \+w seek after|strong="G1934"\+w*: \+w and|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w your|strong="G5216"\+w* \+w Father|strong="G3962"\+w* \+w knoweth|strong="G1492"\+w* \+w that|strong="G3754"\+w* \+w ye have need|strong="G5535"\+w* \+w of these things|strong="G5130"\+w*.
30 Porque todas estas coisas as nações do mundo buscam; mas vosso Pai sabe que necessitais destas coisas.
31 \+w But rather|strong="G4133"\+w* \+w seek ye|strong="G2212"\+w* \+w the kingdom|strong="G0932"\+w* \+w of God|strong="G2316"\+w*; \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w all|strong="G3956"\+w* \+w these things|strong="G5023"\+w* \+w shall be added|strong="G4369"\+w* \+w unto you|strong="G5213"\+w*.
31 Mas antes, buscai o reino de Deus, e todas essas coisas vos serão acrescentadas.
32 \+w Fear|strong="G5399"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3361"\+w*, \+w little|strong="G3398"\+w* \+w flock|strong="G4168"\+w*; \+w for|strong="G3754"\+w* \+w it is|strong="G2106"\+w* \+w your|strong="G5216"\+w* \+w Father’s|strong="G3962"\+w* \+w good pleasure|strong="G2106"\+w* \+w to give|strong="G1325"\+w* \+w you|strong="G5213"\+w* \+w the kingdom|strong="G0932"\+w*.
32 Não temas, ó pequenino rebanho, porque é aprazível a vosso Pai dar-vos o reino.
