Jó 5

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

Call|strong="H7121" now, if there be|strong="H3426" any that will answer|strong="H6030" thee; and to which of the saints|strong="H6918" wilt thou turn|strong="H6437"?

For wrath|strong="H3708" killeth|strong="H2026" the foolish man|strong="H0191", and envy|strong="H7068" slayeth|strong="H4191" the silly one|strong="H6601".

I have seen|strong="H7200" the foolish|strong="H0191" taking root|strong="H8327": but suddenly|strong="H6597" I cursed|strong="H5344" his habitation|strong="H5116".

His children|strong="H1121" are far|strong="H7368" from safety|strong="H3468", and they are crushed|strong="H1792" in the gate|strong="H8179", neither is there any to deliver|strong="H5337" them.

Whose harvest|strong="H7105" the hungry|strong="H7457" eateth up|strong="H0398", and taketh|strong="H3947" it even out|strong="H0413" of the thorns|strong="H6791", and the robber|strong="H6782" swalloweth up|strong="H7602" their substance|strong="H2428".

Although affliction|strong="H0205" cometh not forth|strong="H3318" of the dust|strong="H6083", neither doth trouble|strong="H5999" spring out|strong="H6779" of the ground|strong="H0127";

Yet man|strong="H0120" is born|strong="H3205" unto trouble|strong="H5999", as the sparks|strong="H1121" fly|strong="H5774" upward|strong="H1361".

I would seek|strong="H0199" unto God|strong="H0410", and unto God|strong="H0430" would I commit|strong="H7760" my cause|strong="H1700":

Which doeth|strong="H6213" great things|strong="H1419" and unsearchable|strong="H0369"; marvellous things|strong="H6381" without number|strong="H4557":

Who giveth|strong="H5414" rain|strong="H4306" upon|strong="H6440" the earth|strong="H0776", and sendeth|strong="H7971" waters|strong="H4325" upon|strong="H6440" the fields|strong="H2351":

To set up|strong="H7760" on high|strong="H4791" those that be low|strong="H8217"; that those which mourn|strong="H6937" may be exalted|strong="H7682" to safety|strong="H3468".

He disappointeth|strong="H6565" the devices|strong="H4284" of the crafty|strong="H6175", so that their hands|strong="H3027" cannot perform|strong="H6213" their enterprise|strong="H8454".

He taketh|strong="H3920" the wise|strong="H2450" in their own craftiness|strong="H6193": and the counsel|strong="H6098" of the froward|strong="H6617" is carried headlong|strong="H4116".

They meet|strong="H6298" with darkness|strong="H2822" in the daytime|strong="H3119", and grope|strong="H4959" in the noonday|strong="H6672" as in the night|strong="H3915".

But he saveth|strong="H3467" the poor|strong="H0034" from the sword|strong="H2719", from their mouth|strong="H6310", and from the hand|strong="H3027" of the mighty|strong="H2389".

So the poor|strong="H1800" hath hope|strong="H8615", and iniquity|strong="H5766" stoppeth|strong="H7092" her mouth|strong="H6310".

Behold, happy|strong="H0835" is the man|strong="H0582" whom God|strong="H0433" correcteth|strong="H3198": therefore despise|strong="H3988" not thou the chastening|strong="H4148" of the Almighty|strong="H7706":

For he maketh sore|strong="H3510", and bindeth up|strong="H2280": he woundeth|strong="H4272", and his hands|strong="H3027" make whole|strong="H7495".

He shall deliver|strong="H5337" thee in six|strong="H8337" troubles|strong="H6869": yea, in seven|strong="H7651" there shall no evil|strong="H7451" touch|strong="H5060" thee.

In famine|strong="H7458" he shall redeem|strong="H6299" thee from death|strong="H4194": and in war|strong="H4421" from the power|strong="H3027" of the sword|strong="H2719".

Thou shalt be hid|strong="H2244" from the scourge|strong="H7752" of the tongue|strong="H3956": neither shalt thou be afraid|strong="H3372" of destruction|strong="H7701" when it cometh|strong="H0935".

At destruction|strong="H7701" and famine|strong="H3720" thou shalt laugh|strong="H7832": neither shalt thou be afraid|strong="H3372" of the beasts|strong="H2416" of the earth|strong="H0776".

For thou shalt be in league|strong="H1285" with the stones|strong="H0068" of the field|strong="H7704": and the beasts|strong="H2416" of the field|strong="H7704" shall be at peace|strong="H7999" with thee.

And thou shalt know|strong="H3045" that thy tabernacle|strong="H0168" shall be in peace|strong="H7965"; and thou shalt visit|strong="H6485" thy habitation|strong="H5116", and shalt not sin|strong="H2398".

Thou shalt know|strong="H3045" also that thy seed|strong="H2233" shall be great|strong="H7227", and thine offspring|strong="H6631" as the grass|strong="H6212" of the earth|strong="H0776".

Thou shalt come|strong="H0935" to thy grave|strong="H6913" in a full age|strong="H3624", like as a shock of corn|strong="H1430" cometh in|strong="H5927" in his season|strong="H6256".

Lo this, we have searched|strong="H2713" it, so it is; hear|strong="H8085" it, and know|strong="H3045" thou it for thy good.
