1 Surely|strong="H3426" there is a vein|strong="H4161" for the silver|strong="H3701", and a place|strong="H4725" for gold|strong="H2091" where they fine|strong="H2212" it.
1 Na verdade, há veios de onde se extrai a prata, e, para o ouro, lugar em que o derretem.
2 Iron|strong="H1270" is taken|strong="H3947" out of the earth|strong="H6083", and brass|strong="H5154" is molten|strong="H6694" out of the stone|strong="H0068".
2 O ferro tira-se da terra, e da pedra se funde o metal.
3 He setteth|strong="H7760" an end|strong="H7093" to darkness|strong="H2822", and searcheth out|strong="H2713" all perfection|strong="H8503": the stones|strong="H0068" of darkness|strong="H0652", and the shadow of death|strong="H6757".
3 O homem pôs fim às trevas e até à extremidade ele esquadrinha, procurando as pedras na escuridão e na sombra da morte.
4 The flood|strong="H5158" breaketh out|strong="H6555" from the inhabitant|strong="H1481"; even the waters forgotten|strong="H7911" of the foot|strong="H7272": they are dried up|strong="H1809", they are gone away|strong="H5128" from men|strong="H0582".
4 Trasborda o ribeiro até ao que junto dele habita, de maneira que se não pode passar a pé; então, intervém o homem, e as águas se vão.
5 As for the earth|strong="H0776", out of it cometh|strong="H3318" bread|strong="H3899": and under it is turned up|strong="H2015" as it were fire|strong="H0784".
5 A terra, de onde procede o pão, embaixo é revolvida como por fogo.
6 The stones|strong="H0068" of it are the place|strong="H4725" of sapphires|strong="H5601": and it hath dust|strong="H6083" of gold|strong="H2091".
6 As suas pedras são o lugar da safira e têm pós de ouro.
7 There is a path|strong="H5410" which no fowl|strong="H5861" knoweth|strong="H3045", and which the vulture’s|strong="H0344" eye|strong="H5869" hath not seen|strong="H7805":
7 Essa vereda, a ignora a ave de rapina, e não a viram os olhos da gralha.
8 The lion’s|strong="H7830" whelps|strong="H1121" have not trodden|strong="H1869" it, nor the fierce lion|strong="H7826" passed|strong="H5710" by it.
8 Nunca a pisaram filhos de animais altivos, nem o feroz leão passou por ela.
9 He putteth forth|strong="H7971" his hand|strong="H3027" upon the rock|strong="H2496"; he overturneth|strong="H2015" the mountains|strong="H2022" by the roots|strong="H8328".
9 Ele estende a sua mão contra o rochedo, e revolve os montes desde as suas raízes.
10 He cutteth out|strong="H1234" rivers|strong="H2975" among the rocks|strong="H6697"; and his eye|strong="H5869" seeth|strong="H7200" every precious thing|strong="H3366".
10 Dos rochedos faz sair rios, e o seu olho descobre todas as coisas preciosas.
11 He bindeth|strong="H2280" the floods|strong="H5104" from overflowing|strong="H1065"; and the thing that is hid|strong="H8587" bringeth he forth|strong="H3318" to light|strong="H0216".
11 Os rios tapa, e nem uma gota sai deles, e tira para a luz o que estava escondido.
12 But where|strong="H0370" shall wisdom|strong="H2451" be found|strong="H4672"? and where is the place|strong="H4725" of understanding|strong="H0998"?
12 Mas onde se achará a sabedoria? E onde está o lugar da inteligência?
13 Man|strong="H0582" knoweth|strong="H3045" not the price|strong="H6187" thereof; neither is it found|strong="H4672" in the land|strong="H0776" of the living|strong="H2416".
13 O homem não lhe conhece o valor; não se acha na terra dos viventes.
14 The depth|strong="H8415" saith|strong="H0559", It is not in me: and the sea|strong="H3220" saith|strong="H0559", It is not with me.
14 O abismo diz: Não está em mim; e o mar diz: Ela não está comigo.
15 It cannot be gotten|strong="H5414" for gold|strong="H5458", neither shall silver|strong="H3701" be weighed|strong="H8254" for the price|strong="H4242" thereof.
15 Não se dará por ela ouro fino, nem se pesará prata em câmbio dela.
16 It cannot be valued|strong="H5541" with the gold|strong="H3800" of Ophir|strong="H0211", with the precious|strong="H3368" onyx|strong="H7718", or the sapphire|strong="H5601".
16 Nem se pode comprar por ouro fino de Ofir, nem pelo precioso ônix, nem pela safira.
17 The gold|strong="H2091" and the crystal|strong="H2137" cannot equal|strong="H6186" it: and the exchange|strong="H8545" of it shall not be for jewels|strong="H3627" of fine gold|strong="H6337".
17 Com ela se não pode comparar o ouro ou o cristal; nem se trocará por joia de ouro fino.
18 No mention|strong="H2142" shall be made of coral|strong="H7215", or of pearls|strong="H1378": for the price|strong="H4901" of wisdom|strong="H2451" is above rubies|strong="H6443".
18 Ela faz esquecer o coral e as pérolas; porque a aquisição da sabedoria é melhor que a dos rubis.
19 The topaz|strong="H6357" of Ethiopia|strong="H3568" shall not equal|strong="H6186" it, neither shall it be valued|strong="H5541" with pure|strong="H2889" gold|strong="H3800".
19 Não se lhe igualará o topázio da Etiópia, nem se pode comprar por ouro puro.
20 Whence|strong="H0370" then cometh|strong="H0935" wisdom|strong="H2451"? and where is the place|strong="H4725" of understanding|strong="H0998"?
20 De onde, pois, vem a sabedoria, e onde está o lugar da inteligência?
21 Seeing it is hid|strong="H5956" from the eyes|strong="H5869" of all living|strong="H2416", and kept close|strong="H5641" from the fowls|strong="H5775" of the air|strong="H8064".
21 Porque está encoberta aos olhos de todo vivente e oculta às aves do céu.
22 Destruction|strong="H0011" and death|strong="H4194" say|strong="H0559", We have heard|strong="H8085" the fame|strong="H8088" thereof with our ears|strong="H0241".
22 A perdição e a morte dizem: Ouvimos com os nossos ouvidos a sua fama.
23 God|strong="H0430" understandeth|strong="H0995" the way|strong="H1870" thereof, and he knoweth|strong="H3045" the place|strong="H4725" thereof.
23 Deus entende o seu caminho, e ele sabe o seu lugar.
24 For he looketh|strong="H5027" to the ends|strong="H7098" of the earth|strong="H0776", and seeth|strong="H7200" under the whole heaven|strong="H8064";
24 Porque ele vê as extremidades da terra; e vê tudo o que há debaixo dos céus.
25 To make|strong="H6213" the weight|strong="H4948" for the winds|strong="H7307"; and he weigheth|strong="H8505" the waters|strong="H4325" by measure|strong="H4060".
25 Quando deu peso ao vento e tomou a medida das águas;
26 When he made|strong="H6213" a decree|strong="H2706" for the rain|strong="H4306", and a way|strong="H1870" for the lightning|strong="H2385" of the thunder|strong="H6963":
26 quando prescreveu uma lei para a chuva e caminho para o relâmpago dos trovões,
27 Then did he see|strong="H7200" it, and declare|strong="H5608" it; he prepared|strong="H3559" it, yea, and searched it out|strong="H2713".
27 então, a viu e a manifestou; estabeleceu-a e também a esquadrinhou.
28 And unto man|strong="H0120" he said|strong="H0559", Behold, the fear|strong="H3374" of the Lord|strong="H0136", that is wisdom|strong="H2451"; and to depart|strong="H5493" from evil|strong="H7451" is understanding|strong="H0998".
28 Mas disse ao homem: Eis que o temor do Senhor é a sabedoria, e apartar-se do mal é a inteligência.
