2 Even to day|strong="H3117" is my complaint|strong="H7879" bitter|strong="H4805": my stroke|strong="H3027" is heavier|strong="H3513" than my groaning|strong="H0585".
3 Oh that|strong="H5414" I knew|strong="H3045" where I might find|strong="H4672" him! that I might come|strong="H0935" even to his seat|strong="H8499"!
4 I would order|strong="H6186" my cause|strong="H4941" before|strong="H6440" him, and fill|strong="H4390" my mouth|strong="H6310" with arguments|strong="H8433".
5 I would know|strong="H3045" the words|strong="H4405" which he would answer|strong="H6030" me, and understand|strong="H0995" what he would say|strong="H0559" unto me.
6 Will he plead|strong="H7378" against|strong="H5978" me with his great|strong="H7230" power|strong="H3581"? No; but he would put|strong="H7760" strength in me.
7 There the righteous|strong="H3477" might dispute|strong="H3198" with him; so should I be delivered|strong="H6403" for ever|strong="H5331" from my judge|strong="H8199".
8 Behold, I go|strong="H1980" forward|strong="H6924", but he is not there; and backward|strong="H0268", but I cannot perceive|strong="H0995" him:
9 On the left hand|strong="H8040", where he doth work|strong="H6213", but I cannot behold|strong="H2372" him: he hideth|strong="H5848" himself on the right hand|strong="H3225", that I cannot see|strong="H7200" him:
10 But he knoweth|strong="H3045" the way|strong="H1870" that I take|strong="H5978": when he hath tried|strong="H0974" me, I shall come forth|strong="H3318" as gold|strong="H2091".
11 My foot|strong="H7272" hath held|strong="H0270" his steps|strong="H0838", his way|strong="H1870" have I kept|strong="H8104", and not declined|strong="H5186".
12 Neither have I gone back|strong="H4185" from the commandment|strong="H4687" of his lips|strong="H8193"; I have esteemed|strong="H6845" the words|strong="H0561" of his mouth|strong="H6310" more than my necessary|strong="H2706" food.
13 But he is in one|strong="H0259" mind, and who can turn|strong="H7725" him? and what his soul|strong="H5315" desireth|strong="H0183", even that he doeth|strong="H6213".
14 For he performeth|strong="H7999" the thing that is appointed|strong="H2706" for me: and many|strong="H7227" such|strong="H2007" things are with him.
15 Therefore am I troubled|strong="H0926" at his presence|strong="H6440": when I consider|strong="H0995", I am afraid|strong="H6342" of him.
16 For God|strong="H0410" maketh my heart|strong="H3820" soft|strong="H7401", and the Almighty|strong="H7706" troubleth|strong="H0926" me:
17 Because I was not cut off|strong="H6789" before|strong="H6440" the darkness|strong="H2822", neither hath he covered|strong="H3680" the darkness|strong="H0652" from my face|strong="H6440".
