Jó 12

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

And Job|strong="H0347" answered|strong="H6030" and said|strong="H0559",

No doubt|strong="H0551" but ye are the people|strong="H5971", and wisdom|strong="H2451" shall die|strong="H4191" with you.

But|strong="H1571" I have understanding|strong="H3824" as well as you; I am not inferior|strong="H5307" to you: yea, who knoweth not such things|strong="H3644" as these?

I am as one mocked|strong="H7814" of his neighbour|strong="H7453", who calleth|strong="H7121" upon God|strong="H0433", and he answereth|strong="H6030" him: the just|strong="H6662" upright|strong="H8549" man is laughed to scorn|strong="H7814".

He that is ready|strong="H3559" to slip|strong="H4571" with his feet|strong="H7272" is as a lamp|strong="H3940" despised|strong="H0937" in the thought|strong="H6248" of him that is at ease|strong="H7600".

The tabernacles|strong="H0168" of robbers|strong="H7703" prosper|strong="H7951", and they that provoke|strong="H7264" God|strong="H0410" are secure|strong="H0987"; into whose hand|strong="H3027" God|strong="H0433" bringeth|strong="H0935" abundantly.

But|strong="H0199" ask|strong="H7592" now the beasts|strong="H0929", and they shall teach|strong="H3384" thee; and the fowls|strong="H5775" of the air|strong="H8064", and they shall tell|strong="H5046" thee:

Or speak|strong="H7878" to the earth|strong="H0776", and it shall teach|strong="H3384" thee: and the fishes|strong="H1709" of the sea|strong="H3220" shall declare|strong="H5608" unto thee.

Who knoweth|strong="H3045" not in all these that the hand|strong="H3027" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath wrought|strong="H6213" this?

In whose hand|strong="H3027" is the soul|strong="H5315" of every living thing|strong="H2416", and the breath|strong="H7307" of all mankind|strong="H0376".

Doth not the ear|strong="H0241" try|strong="H0974" words|strong="H4405"? and the mouth|strong="H2441" taste|strong="H2938" his meat|strong="H0400"?

With the ancient|strong="H3453" is wisdom|strong="H2451"; and in length|strong="H0753" of days|strong="H3117" understanding|strong="H8394".

With him is wisdom|strong="H2451" and strength|strong="H1369", he hath counsel|strong="H6098" and understanding|strong="H8394".

Behold, he breaketh down|strong="H2040", and it cannot be built again|strong="H1129": he shutteth up|strong="H5462" a man|strong="H0376", and there can be no opening|strong="H6605".

Behold, he withholdeth|strong="H6113" the waters|strong="H4325", and they dry up|strong="H3001": also he sendeth them out|strong="H7971", and they overturn|strong="H2015" the earth|strong="H0776".

With him is strength|strong="H5797" and wisdom|strong="H8454": the deceived|strong="H7683" and the deceiver|strong="H7686" are his.

He leadeth|strong="H3212" counsellors|strong="H3289" away spoiled|strong="H7758", and maketh the judges|strong="H8199" fools|strong="H1984".

He looseth|strong="H6605" the bond|strong="H4148" of kings|strong="H4428", and girdeth|strong="H0631" their loins|strong="H4975" with a girdle|strong="H0232".

He leadeth|strong="H3212" princes|strong="H3548" away spoiled|strong="H7758", and overthroweth|strong="H5557" the mighty|strong="H0386".

He removeth away|strong="H5493" the speech|strong="H8193" of the trusty|strong="H0539", and taketh away|strong="H3947" the understanding|strong="H2940" of the aged|strong="H2205".

He poureth|strong="H8210" contempt|strong="H0937" upon princes|strong="H5081", and weakeneth|strong="H7503" the strength|strong="H4206" of the mighty|strong="H0650".

He discovereth|strong="H1540" deep things|strong="H6013" out of darkness|strong="H2822", and bringeth out|strong="H3318" to light|strong="H0216" the shadow of death|strong="H6757".

He increaseth|strong="H7679" the nations|strong="H1471", and destroyeth|strong="H0006" them: he enlargeth|strong="H7849" the nations|strong="H1471", and straiteneth|strong="H5148" them again.

He taketh away|strong="H5493" the heart|strong="H3820" of the chief|strong="H7218" of the people|strong="H5971" of the earth|strong="H0776", and causeth them to wander|strong="H8582" in a wilderness|strong="H8414" where there is no way|strong="H1870".

They grope|strong="H4959" in the dark|strong="H2822" without light|strong="H0216", and he maketh them to stagger|strong="H8582" like a drunken|strong="H7910" man.
