2 And|strong="G2532" his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101" asked|strong="G2065" him|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G3004", Master|strong="G4461", who|strong="G5101" did sin|strong="G0264", this man|strong="G3778", or|strong="G2228" his|strong="G0846" parents|strong="G1118", that|strong="G2443" he was born|strong="G1080" blind|strong="G5185"?
3 Jesus|strong="G2424" answered|strong="G0611", \+w Neither|strong="G3777"\+w* \+w hath|strong="G0264"\+w* \+w this man|strong="G3778"\+w* \+w sinned|strong="G0264"\+w*, \+w nor|strong="G3777"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w parents|strong="G1118"\+w*: \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w that|strong="G2443"\+w* \+w the works|strong="G2041"\+w* \+w of God|strong="G2316"\+w* \+w should be made manifest|strong="G5319"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w him|strong="G0846"\+w*.
4 \+w I|strong="G1691"\+w* \+w must|strong="G1163"\+w* \+w work|strong="G2038"\+w* \+w the works|strong="G2041"\+w* \+w of him that sent|strong="G3992"\+w* \+w me|strong="G3165"\+w*, \+w while|strong="G2193"\+w* \+w it is|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w day|strong="G2250"\+w*: \+w the night|strong="G3571"\+w* \+w cometh|strong="G2064"\+w*, \+w when|strong="G3753"\+w* \+w no man|strong="G3762"\+w* \+w can|strong="G1410"\+w* \+w work|strong="G2038"\+w*.
5 \+w As long as|strong="G3752"\+w* \+w I am|strong="G5600"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w the world|strong="G2889"\+w*, \+w I am|strong="G1510"\+w* \+w the light|strong="G5457"\+w* \+w of the world|strong="G2889"\+w*.
6 When he had|strong="G2036" thus|strong="G5023" spoken|strong="G2036", he spat|strong="G4429" on the ground|strong="G5476", and|strong="G2532" made|strong="G4160" clay|strong="G4081" of|strong="G1537" the spittle|strong="G4427", and|strong="G2532" he anointed|strong="G2025" the eyes|strong="G3788" of the blind man|strong="G5185" with the clay|strong="G4081",
7 And|strong="G2532" said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", \+w Go|strong="G5217"\+w*, \+w wash|strong="G3538"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w the pool|strong="G2861"\+w* \+w of Siloam|strong="G4611"\+w*, (which|strong="G3739" is by interpretation|strong="G2059", Sent|strong="G0649".) He went his way|strong="G0565" therefore|strong="G3767", and|strong="G2532" washed|strong="G3538", and|strong="G2532" came|strong="G2064" seeing|strong="G0991".
8 The neighbours|strong="G1069" therefore|strong="G3767", and|strong="G2532" they which|strong="G2334" before|strong="G4386" had seen|strong="G2334" him|strong="G0846" that|strong="G3754" he was|strong="G2258" blind|strong="G5185", said|strong="G3004", Is|strong="G2076" not|strong="G3756" this|strong="G3778" he that sat|strong="G2521" and|strong="G2532" begged|strong="G4319"?
9 Some|strong="G0243" said|strong="G3004", This|strong="G3778" is he|strong="G2076": others|strong="G0243" said, He is|strong="G2076" like|strong="G3664" him|strong="G0846": but he|strong="G1565" said|strong="G3004", I|strong="G1473" am|strong="G1510" he.
10 Therefore|strong="G3767" said they|strong="G3004" unto him|strong="G0846", How|strong="G4459" were|strong="G0455" thine|strong="G4675" eyes|strong="G3788" opened|strong="G0455"?

13 They brought|strong="G0071" to|strong="G4314" the Pharisees|strong="G5330" him|strong="G0846" that|strong="G5185" aforetime|strong="G4218" was blind|strong="G5185".
14 And|strong="G1161" it was|strong="G2258" the sabbath day|strong="G4521" when|strong="G3753" Jesus|strong="G2424" made|strong="G4160" the clay|strong="G4081", and|strong="G2532" opened|strong="G0455" his|strong="G0846" eyes|strong="G3788".
15 Then|strong="G3767" again|strong="G3825" the Pharisees|strong="G5330" also|strong="G2532" asked|strong="G2065" him|strong="G0846" how|strong="G4459" he had received his sight|strong="G0308". 16 Therefore|strong="G3767" said|strong="G3004" some|strong="G5100" of|strong="G1537" the Pharisees|strong="G5330", This|strong="G3778" man|strong="G0444" is|strong="G2076" not|strong="G3756" of|strong="G3844" God|strong="G2316", because|strong="G3754" he keepeth|strong="G5083" not|strong="G3756" the sabbath day|strong="G4521". Others|strong="G0243" said|strong="G3004", How|strong="G4459" can|strong="G1410" a man|strong="G0444" that is a sinner|strong="G0268" do|strong="G4160" such|strong="G5108" miracles|strong="G4592"? And|strong="G2532" there was|strong="G2258" a division|strong="G4978" among|strong="G1722" them|strong="G0846".
17 They say|strong="G3004" unto the blind man|strong="G5185" again|strong="G3825", What|strong="G5101" sayest|strong="G3004" thou|strong="G4771" of|strong="G4012" him|strong="G0846", that|strong="G3754" he hath opened|strong="G0455" thine|strong="G4675" eyes|strong="G3788"? He said|strong="G2036", He is|strong="G2076" a prophet|strong="G4396".
18 But|strong="G3767" the Jews|strong="G2453" did|strong="G4100" not|strong="G3756" believe|strong="G4100" concerning|strong="G4012" him|strong="G0846", that|strong="G3754" he had been|strong="G2258" blind|strong="G5185", and|strong="G2532" received his sight|strong="G0308", until|strong="G2193" they called|strong="G5455" the parents|strong="G1118" of him|strong="G0846" that had received his sight|strong="G0308".
19 And|strong="G2532" they asked|strong="G2065" them|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G3004", Is|strong="G2076" this|strong="G3778" your|strong="G5216" son|strong="G5207", who|strong="G3739" ye|strong="G5210" say|strong="G3004" was born|strong="G1080" blind|strong="G5185"? how|strong="G4459" then|strong="G3767" doth he|strong="G0991" now|strong="G0737" see|strong="G0991"?
20 His|strong="G0846" parents|strong="G1118" answered|strong="G0611" them|strong="G0846" and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G2036", We know|strong="G1492" that|strong="G3754" this|strong="G3778" is|strong="G2076" our|strong="G2257" son|strong="G5207", and|strong="G2532" that|strong="G3754" he was born|strong="G1080" blind|strong="G5185":
21 But|strong="G1161" by what means|strong="G4459" he|strong="G0991" now|strong="G3568" seeth|strong="G0991", we know|strong="G1492" not|strong="G3756"; or|strong="G2228" who|strong="G5101" hath opened|strong="G0455" his|strong="G0846" eyes|strong="G3788", we|strong="G2249" know|strong="G1492" not|strong="G3756": he|strong="G0846" is of|strong="G2192" age|strong="G2244"; ask|strong="G2065" him|strong="G0846": he|strong="G0846" shall speak|strong="G2980" for|strong="G4012" himself|strong="G0848".
22 These|strong="G5023" words spake|strong="G2036" his|strong="G0846" parents|strong="G1118", because|strong="G3754" they feared|strong="G5399" the Jews|strong="G2453": for|strong="G1063" the Jews|strong="G2453" had agreed|strong="G4934" already|strong="G2235", that|strong="G2443" if|strong="G1437" any man|strong="G5100" did confess|strong="G3670" that he was|strong="G0846" Christ|strong="G5547", he should be put|strong="G1096" out of the synagogue|strong="G0656".
23 Therefore|strong="G1223" said|strong="G2036" his|strong="G0846" parents|strong="G1118", He is|strong="G2192" of age|strong="G2244"; ask|strong="G2065" him|strong="G0846".
24 Then|strong="G3767" again|strong="G1537" called they|strong="G5455" the man|strong="G0444" that|strong="G3739" was|strong="G2258" blind|strong="G5185", and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", Give|strong="G1325" God|strong="G2316" the praise|strong="G1391": we|strong="G2249" know|strong="G1492" that|strong="G3754" this|strong="G3778" man|strong="G0444" is|strong="G2076" a sinner|strong="G0268".
25 He|strong="G1565" answered|strong="G0611" and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G2036", Whether|strong="G1487" he be|strong="G2076" a sinner|strong="G0268" or no, I know|strong="G1492" not|strong="G3756": one thing|strong="G1520" I know|strong="G1492", that|strong="G3754", whereas I was|strong="G5607" blind|strong="G5185", now|strong="G0737" I see|strong="G0991".
26 Then|strong="G1161" said they|strong="G2036" to him|strong="G0846" again|strong="G3825", What|strong="G5101" did he|strong="G4160" to thee|strong="G4671"? how|strong="G4459" opened he|strong="G0455" thine|strong="G4675" eyes|strong="G3788"?
27 He answered|strong="G0611" them|strong="G0846", I have told|strong="G2036" you|strong="G5213" already|strong="G2235", and|strong="G2532" ye did|strong="G0191" not|strong="G3756" hear|strong="G0191": wherefore|strong="G5101" would ye|strong="G2309" hear|strong="G0191" it again|strong="G3825"? will|strong="G2309" ye|strong="G5210" also|strong="G2532" be|strong="G1096" his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101"?
28 Then|strong="G3767" they reviled|strong="G3058" him|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G2036", Thou|strong="G4771" art|strong="G1488" his|strong="G1565" disciple|strong="G3101"; but|strong="G1161" we|strong="G2249" are|strong="G2070" Moses’|strong="G3475" disciples|strong="G3101".
29 We|strong="G2249" know|strong="G1492" that|strong="G3754" God|strong="G2316" spake|strong="G2980" unto Moses|strong="G3475": as \+w for|strong="G1161"\+w* this|strong="G5126" fellow, we know|strong="G1492" not|strong="G3756" from whence|strong="G4159" he is|strong="G2076".
30 The man|strong="G0444" answered|strong="G0611" and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", Why|strong="G1063" herein|strong="G5129" is|strong="G2076" a marvellous thing|strong="G2298", that|strong="G3754" ye|strong="G5210" know|strong="G1492" not|strong="G3756" from whence|strong="G4159" he is|strong="G2076", and|strong="G2532" yet he hath opened|strong="G0455" mine|strong="G3450" eyes|strong="G3788".
31 Now|strong="G1161" we know|strong="G1492" that|strong="G3754" God|strong="G2316" heareth|strong="G0191" not|strong="G3756" sinners|strong="G0268": but|strong="G0235" if|strong="G1437" any man|strong="G5100" be|strong="G5600" a worshipper of God|strong="G2318", and|strong="G2532" doeth|strong="G4160" his|strong="G0846" will|strong="G2307", him|strong="G5127" he heareth|strong="G0191".
32 Since|strong="G1537" the world began|strong="G0165" was it|strong="G0191" not|strong="G3756" heard|strong="G0191" that|strong="G3754" any man|strong="G5100" opened|strong="G0455" the eyes|strong="G3788" of one that was born|strong="G1080" blind|strong="G5185".
33 If|strong="G1487" this man|strong="G3778" were|strong="G2258" not|strong="G3361" of|strong="G3844" God|strong="G2316", he could|strong="G1410" do|strong="G4160" nothing|strong="G3756".
34 They answered|strong="G0611" and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", Thou|strong="G4771" wast|strong="G1080" altogether|strong="G3650" born|strong="G1080" in|strong="G1722" sins|strong="G0266", and|strong="G2532" dost|strong="G1321" thou|strong="G4771" teach|strong="G1321" us|strong="G2248"? And|strong="G2532" they cast|strong="G1544" him|strong="G0846" out|strong="G1854".
35 Jesus|strong="G2424" heard|strong="G0191" that|strong="G3754" they had cast|strong="G1544" him|strong="G0846" out|strong="G1854"; and|strong="G2532" when he had found|strong="G2147" him|strong="G0846", he said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", \+w Dost|strong="G4100"\+w* \+w thou|strong="G4771"\+w* \+w believe|strong="G4100"\+w* \+w on|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w the Son|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w of God|strong="G2316"\+w*?
36 He|strong="G1565" answered|strong="G0611" and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G2036", Who|strong="G5101" is he|strong="G2076", Lord|strong="G2962", that|strong="G2443" I might believe|strong="G4100" on|strong="G1519" him|strong="G0846"?
37 And|strong="G1161" Jesus|strong="G2424" said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", \+w Thou hast|strong="G3708"\+w* \+w both|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w seen|strong="G3708"\+w* \+w him|strong="G0846"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w it is|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w he|strong="G1565"\+w* \+w that talketh|strong="G2980"\+w* \+w with|strong="G3326"\+w* \+w thee|strong="G4675"\+w*.
38 And|strong="G1161" he|strong="G3588" said|strong="G5346", Lord|strong="G2962", I believe|strong="G4100". And|strong="G2532" he worshipped|strong="G4352" him|strong="G0846".
39 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" said|strong="G2036", \+w For|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w judgment|strong="G2917"\+w* \+w I|strong="G1473"\+w* \+w am come|strong="G2064"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w this|strong="G5126"\+w* \+w world|strong="G2889"\+w*, \+w that|strong="G2443"\+w* \+w they which see|strong="G0991"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3361"\+w* \+w might see|strong="G0991"\+w*; \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w that they which see might|strong="G0991"\+w* \+w be made|strong="G1096"\+w* \+w blind|strong="G5185"\+w*.
40 And|strong="G2532" some of|strong="G1537" the Pharisees|strong="G5330" which were|strong="G5607" with|strong="G3326" him|strong="G0846" heard|strong="G0191" these words|strong="G5023", and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", Are|strong="G2070" we|strong="G2249" blind|strong="G5185" also|strong="G2532"?
41 Jesus|strong="G2424" said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w If|strong="G1487"\+w* \+w ye were|strong="G2258"\+w* \+w blind|strong="G5185"\+w*, \+w ye should have|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w no|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w sin|strong="G0266"\+w*: \+w but|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w now|strong="G3568"\+w* \+w ye say|strong="G3004"\+w*, \+w We see|strong="G0991"\+w*; \+w therefore|strong="G3767"\+w* \+w your|strong="G5216"\+w* \+w sin|strong="G0266"\+w* \+w remaineth|strong="G3306"\+w*.
