Then|strong="G3767" came there|strong="G2064" a voice|strong="G5456" from|strong="G1537" heaven|strong="G3772", saying, I have|strong="G1392" both|strong="G2532" glorified|strong="G1392" it, and|strong="G2532" will glorify|strong="G1392" it again|strong="G3825".
29 The people|strong="G3767" therefore|strong="G3793", that stood by|strong="G2476", and|strong="G2532" heard|strong="G0191" it, said that|strong="G3004" it|strong="G1096" thundered|strong="G1027": others|strong="G0243" said|strong="G3004", An angel|strong="G0032" spake|strong="G2980" to him|strong="G0846".

32 \+w And I|strong="G2504"\+w*, \+w if|strong="G1437"\+w* \+w I be lifted up|strong="G5312"\+w* \+w from|strong="G1537"\+w* \+w the earth|strong="G1093"\+w*, \+w will draw|strong="G1670"\+w* \+w all|strong="G3956"\+w* \+add men\+add* \+w unto|strong="G4314"\+w* \+w me|strong="G1683"\+w*.
33 This|strong="G5124" he said|strong="G3004", signifying|strong="G4591" what|strong="G4169" death|strong="G2288" he should|strong="G3195" die|strong="G0599".
34 The people|strong="G3793" answered|strong="G0611" him|strong="G0846", We|strong="G2249" have heard|strong="G0191" out|strong="G1537" of the law|strong="G3551" that|strong="G3754" Christ|strong="G5547" abideth|strong="G3306" for|strong="G1519" ever|strong="G0165": and|strong="G2532" how|strong="G4459" sayest|strong="G3004" thou|strong="G4771", The Son|strong="G5207" of man|strong="G0444" must|strong="G1163" be lifted up|strong="G5312"? who|strong="G5101" is|strong="G2076" this|strong="G3778" Son|strong="G5207" of man|strong="G0444"?
35 Then|strong="G3767" Jesus|strong="G2424" said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Yet|strong="G2089"\+w* \+w a little|strong="G3398"\+w* \+w while|strong="G5550"\+w* \+w is|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w the light|strong="G5457"\+w* \+w with|strong="G3326"\+w* \+w you|strong="G5216"\+w*. \+w Walk|strong="G4043"\+w* \+w while|strong="G2193"\+w* \+w ye have|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w the light|strong="G5457"\+w*, \+w lest|strong="G2443"\+w* \+w darkness|strong="G4653"\+w* \+w come upon|strong="G2638"\+w* \+w you|strong="G5209"\+w*: \+w for|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w he that walketh|strong="G4043"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w darkness|strong="G4653"\+w* \+w knoweth|strong="G1492"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w whither|strong="G4226"\+w* \+w he goeth|strong="G5217"\+w*.
36 \+w While|strong="G2193"\+w* \+w ye have|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w light|strong="G5457"\+w*, \+w believe|strong="G4100"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w the light|strong="G5457"\+w*, \+w that|strong="G2443"\+w* \+w ye may be|strong="G1096"\+w* \+w the children|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w of light|strong="G5457"\+w*. 37 But|strong="G1161" though|strong="G4160" he|strong="G0846" had done|strong="G4160" so many|strong="G5118" miracles|strong="G4592" before|strong="G1715" them|strong="G0846", yet they believed|strong="G4100" not|strong="G3756" on|strong="G1519" him|strong="G0846":

39 Therefore|strong="G1223" they could|strong="G1410" not|strong="G3756" believe|strong="G4100", because|strong="G3754" that|strong="G5124" Esaias|strong="G2268" said|strong="G2036" again|strong="G3825",
40 He hath blinded|strong="G5186" their|strong="G0846" eyes|strong="G3788", and|strong="G2532" hardened|strong="G4456" their|strong="G0846" heart|strong="G2588"; that|strong="G2443" they should|strong="G1492" not|strong="G3361" see|strong="G1492" with|strong="G3788" their eyes|strong="G3788", nor|strong="G2532" understand|strong="G3539" with|strong="G2588" their heart|strong="G2588", and|strong="G2532" be converted|strong="G1994", and|strong="G2532" I should heal|strong="G2390" them|strong="G0846".
41 These things|strong="G5023" said|strong="G2036" Esaias|strong="G2268", when|strong="G3753" he saw|strong="G1492" his|strong="G0846" glory|strong="G1391", and|strong="G2532" spake|strong="G2980" of|strong="G4012" him|strong="G0846".
42 Nevertheless|strong="G3676" among|strong="G1537" the chief rulers|strong="G0758" also|strong="G2532" many|strong="G4183" believed|strong="G4100" on|strong="G1519" him|strong="G0846"; but|strong="G0235" because|strong="G1223" of the Pharisees|strong="G5330" they did|strong="G3670" not|strong="G3756" confess|strong="G3670" him, lest|strong="G2443" they should be|strong="G1096" put out of the synagogue|strong="G0656":
43 For|strong="G1063" they loved|strong="G0025" the praise|strong="G1391" of men|strong="G0444" more|strong="G3123" than|strong="G2260" the praise|strong="G1391" of God|strong="G2316".
