1 Naquele dia, se entoará este cântico na terra de Judá: Temos uma cidade forte, na qual Deus põe a salvação como muralha e defesa.
2 Open|strong="H6605" ye the gates|strong="H8179", that the righteous|strong="H6662" nation|strong="H1471" which keepeth|strong="H8104" the truth|strong="H0529" may enter in|strong="H0935".
2 Abram os portões, para que entre a nação justa, que guarda a fidelidade.
3 Thou wilt keep|strong="H5341" him in perfect|strong="H7965" peace|strong="H7965", whose mind|strong="H3336" is stayed|strong="H5564" on thee: because he trusteth|strong="H0982" in thee.
3 Tu, Senhor , conservarás em perfeita paz aquele cujo propósito é firme, porque ele confia em ti.
4 Trust|strong="H0982" ye in the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* for ever|strong="H5703": for in the \+w LORD|strong="H3050"\+w* \+w JEHOVAH|strong="H3068"\+w* is everlasting|strong="H5769" strength|strong="H6697":
4 Confiem sempre no Senhor , porque o é uma rocha eterna.
5 For he bringeth down|strong="H7817" them that dwell|strong="H3427" on high|strong="H4791"; the lofty|strong="H7682" city|strong="H7151", he layeth it low|strong="H8213"; he layeth it low|strong="H8213", even to the ground|strong="H0776"; he bringeth|strong="H5060" it even to the dust|strong="H6083".
5 Ele derruba os que habitam no alto, na cidade elevada; derruba e humilha até o chão, até o pó.
6 The foot|strong="H7272" shall tread it down|strong="H7429", even the feet|strong="H7272" of the poor|strong="H6041", and the steps|strong="H6471" of the needy|strong="H1800".
6 O pé a pisará; os pés dos aflitos, e os passos dos pobres.
7 The way|strong="H0734" of the just|strong="H6662" is uprightness|strong="H4339": thou, most upright|strong="H3477", dost weigh|strong="H6424" the path|strong="H4570" of the just|strong="H6662".
7 A vereda do justo é plana; tu, que és justo, aplanas a vereda do justo.
8 Yea, in the way|strong="H0734" of thy judgments|strong="H4941", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, have we waited|strong="H6960" for thee; the desire|strong="H8378" of our soul|strong="H5315" is to thy name|strong="H8034", and to the remembrance|strong="H2143" of thee.
8 Também através dos teus juízos, no teu nome e na tua memória está o desejo da nossa alma.
9 With my soul|strong="H5315" have I desired|strong="H0183" thee in the night|strong="H3915"; yea, with my spirit|strong="H7307" within|strong="H7130" me will I seek thee early|strong="H7836": for when thy judgments|strong="H4941" are in the earth|strong="H0776", the inhabitants|strong="H3427" of the world|strong="H8398" will learn|strong="H3925" righteousness|strong="H6664".
9 Com minha alma suspiro de noite por ti e, com o meu espírito dentro de mim, eu te busco ansiosamente. Porque, quando os teus juízos reinam na terra, os moradores do mundo aprendem a justiça.
10 Let favour be shewed|strong="H2603" to the wicked|strong="H7563", yet will he not|strong="H1077" learn|strong="H3925" righteousness|strong="H6664": in the land|strong="H0776" of uprightness|strong="H5229" will he deal unjustly|strong="H5765", and will not|strong="H1077" behold|strong="H7200" the majesty|strong="H1348" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
10 Ainda que se mostre favor ao ímpio, nem por isso ele aprende a justiça; até na terra da retidão ele comete a iniquidade e não vê a majestade do
11 \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, when thy hand|strong="H3027" is lifted up|strong="H7311", they will not see|strong="H2372": but they shall see|strong="H2372", and be ashamed|strong="H0954" for their envy|strong="H7068" at the people|strong="H5971"; yea, the fire|strong="H0784" of thine enemies|strong="H6862" shall devour|strong="H0398" them.
11 Senhor , a tua mão está levantada, mas eles não a veem! Porém eles verão o teu zelo pelo povo e ficarão envergonhados. Que o teu furor, por causa dos teus adversários, os consuma.
12 \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, thou wilt ordain|strong="H8239" peace|strong="H7965" for us: for thou also hast wrought|strong="H6466" all our works|strong="H4639" in us.
12 Senhor , concede-nos a paz, porque todas as nossas obras tu as fazes por nós.
13 O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* our God|strong="H0430", other lords|strong="H0113" beside|strong="H2108" thee have had dominion|strong="H1166" over us: but by thee only will we make mention|strong="H2142" of thy name|strong="H8034".
13 Ó Senhor , nosso Deus, outros senhores têm tido domínio sobre nós, mas nós louvamos unicamente o teu nome.
14 They are dead|strong="H4191", they shall not live|strong="H2421"; they are deceased|strong="H7496", they shall not rise|strong="H6965": therefore hast thou visited|strong="H6485" and destroyed|strong="H8045" them, and made all their memory|strong="H2143" to perish|strong="H0006".
14 Eles estão mortos, não voltarão a viver; são apenas sombras, não ressuscitarão. Porque tu os castigaste e destruíste, e apagaste completamente a lembrança deles.
15 Thou hast increased|strong="H3254" the nation|strong="H1471", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, thou hast increased|strong="H3254" the nation|strong="H1471": thou art glorified|strong="H3513": thou hadst removed it far|strong="H7368" unto all the ends|strong="H7099" of the earth|strong="H0776".
15 Tu, Senhor , aumentaste o povo, aumentaste o povo e tens sido glorificado; alargaste todas as fronteiras do país.
16 \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, in trouble|strong="H6862" have they visited|strong="H6485" thee, they poured out|strong="H6694" a prayer|strong="H3908" when thy chastening|strong="H4148" was upon them.
16 Senhor , na angústia te buscaram; vindo sobre eles a tua correção, derramaram as suas orações.
17 Like|strong="H3644" as a woman with child|strong="H2030", that draweth near|strong="H7126" the time of her delivery|strong="H3205", is in pain|strong="H2342", and crieth out|strong="H2199" in her pangs|strong="H2256"; so have we been in thy sight|strong="H6440", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
17 Como a mulher grávida que vai dar à luz se contorce e grita de dor, assim estávamos nós na tua presença, ó
18 We have been with child|strong="H2029", we have been in pain|strong="H2342", we have as it were|strong="H3644" brought forth|strong="H3205" wind|strong="H7307"; we have not wrought|strong="H6213" any deliverance|strong="H3444" in the earth|strong="H0776"; neither|strong="H1077" have the inhabitants|strong="H3427" of the world|strong="H8398" fallen|strong="H5307".
18 Concebemos e nos contorcemos em dores de parto, mas o que demos à luz foi vento; não trouxemos à terra livramento algum, e não nasceram moradores do mundo.
19 Thy dead|strong="H4191" men shall live|strong="H2421", together with my dead body|strong="H5038" shall they arise|strong="H6965". Awake|strong="H6974" and sing|strong="H7442", ye that dwell|strong="H7931" in dust|strong="H6083": for thy dew|strong="H2919" is as the dew|strong="H2919" of herbs|strong="H0219", and the earth|strong="H0776" shall cast out|strong="H5307" the dead|strong="H7496".
19 Os teus mortos e também o meu cadáver viverão e ressuscitarão. Despertem e cantem de alegria, vocês que habitam no pó, porque o teu orvalho, ó Deus, será como o orvalho de vida, e a terra dará à luz os seus mortos.
20 Come|strong="H3212", my people|strong="H5971", enter|strong="H0935" thou into thy chambers|strong="H2315", and shut|strong="H5462" thy doors|strong="H1817" about thee: hide|strong="H2247" thyself as it were for a little|strong="H4592" moment|strong="H7281", until the indignation|strong="H2195" be overpast|strong="H5674".
20 Meu povo, entrem nos seus quartos e tranquem as portas; escondam-se por um momento, até que passe a ira.
21 For, behold, the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* cometh out|strong="H3318" of his place|strong="H4725" to punish|strong="H6485" the inhabitants|strong="H3427" of the earth|strong="H0776" for their iniquity|strong="H5771": the earth|strong="H0776" also shall disclose|strong="H1540" her blood|strong="H1818", and shall no more cover|strong="H3680" her slain|strong="H2026".
21 Pois eis que o Senhor sai do seu lugar, para castigar a iniquidade dos moradores da terra. A terra deixará aparecer o sangue que embebeu e não encobrirá mais aqueles que foram mortos.
