Gênesis 21

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* visited|strong="H6485" Sarah|strong="H8283" as he had said|strong="H0559", and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* did|strong="H6213" unto Sarah|strong="H8283" as he had spoken|strong="H1696".

For Sarah|strong="H8283" conceived|strong="H2029", and bare|strong="H3205" Abraham|strong="H0085" a son|strong="H1121" in his old age|strong="H2208", at the set time|strong="H4150" of which God|strong="H0430" had spoken|strong="H1696" to him.

And Abraham|strong="H0085" called|strong="H7121" the name|strong="H8034" of his son|strong="H1121" that was born|strong="H3205" unto him, whom Sarah|strong="H8283" bare|strong="H3205" to him, Isaac|strong="H3327".

And Abraham|strong="H0085" circumcised|strong="H4135" his son|strong="H1121" Isaac|strong="H3327" being eight|strong="H8083" days|strong="H3117" old|strong="H1121", as God|strong="H0430" had commanded|strong="H6680" him.

And Abraham|strong="H0085" was an hundred|strong="H3967" years|strong="H8141" old|strong="H1121", when his son|strong="H1121" Isaac|strong="H3327" was born|strong="H3205" unto him.

And Sarah|strong="H8283" said|strong="H0559", God|strong="H0430" hath made|strong="H6213" me to laugh|strong="H6712", so that all that hear|strong="H8085" will laugh|strong="H6711" with me.

And she said|strong="H0559", Who would have said|strong="H4448" unto Abraham|strong="H0085", that Sarah|strong="H8283" should have given children|strong="H1121" suck|strong="H3243"? for I have born|strong="H3205" him a son|strong="H1121" in his old age|strong="H2208".

And the child|strong="H3206" grew|strong="H1431", and was weaned|strong="H1580": and Abraham|strong="H0085" made|strong="H6213" a great|strong="H1419" feast|strong="H4960" the same day|strong="H3117" that Isaac|strong="H3327" was weaned|strong="H1580".

And Sarah|strong="H8283" saw|strong="H7200" the son|strong="H1121" of Hagar|strong="H1904" the Egyptian|strong="H4713", which she had born|strong="H3205" unto Abraham|strong="H0085", mocking|strong="H6711".

Wherefore she said|strong="H0559" unto Abraham|strong="H0085", Cast out|strong="H1644" this bondwoman|strong="H0519" and her son|strong="H1121": for the son|strong="H1121" of this bondwoman|strong="H0519" shall not be heir|strong="H3423" with my son|strong="H1121", even with Isaac|strong="H3327".

And the thing|strong="H1697" was very|strong="H3966" grievous|strong="H3415" in Abraham’s|strong="H0085" sight|strong="H5869" because|strong="H0182" of his son|strong="H1121".

And God|strong="H0430" said|strong="H0559" unto Abraham|strong="H0085", Let it not be grievous|strong="H3415" in thy sight|strong="H5869" because of the lad|strong="H5288", and because of thy bondwoman|strong="H0519"; in all that Sarah|strong="H8283" hath said|strong="H0559" unto thee, hearken|strong="H8085" unto her voice|strong="H6963"; for in Isaac|strong="H3327" shall thy seed|strong="H2233" be called|strong="H7121".

And also of the son|strong="H1121" of the bondwoman|strong="H0519" will I make|strong="H7760" a nation|strong="H1471", because he is thy seed|strong="H2233".

And Abraham|strong="H0085" rose up early|strong="H7925" in the morning|strong="H1242", and took|strong="H3947" bread|strong="H3899", and a bottle|strong="H2573" of water|strong="H4325", and gave|strong="H5414" it unto Hagar|strong="H1904", putting|strong="H7760" it on her shoulder|strong="H7926", and the child|strong="H3206", and sent her away|strong="H7971": and she departed|strong="H3212", and wandered|strong="H8582" in the wilderness|strong="H4057" of Beer-sheba|strong="H0884".

And the water|strong="H4325" was spent|strong="H3615" in|strong="H4480" the bottle|strong="H2573", and she cast|strong="H7993" the child|strong="H3206" under one|strong="H0259" of the shrubs|strong="H7880".

And she went|strong="H3212", and sat her down|strong="H3427" over against|strong="H5048" him a good way off|strong="H7368", as it were a bowshot|strong="H2909": for she said|strong="H0559", Let me not see|strong="H7200" the death|strong="H4194" of the child|strong="H3206". And she sat|strong="H3427" over against him, and lift up|strong="H5375" her voice|strong="H6963", and wept|strong="H1058".

And God|strong="H0430" heard|strong="H8085" the voice|strong="H6963" of the lad|strong="H5288"; and the angel|strong="H4397" of God|strong="H0430" called|strong="H7121" to Hagar|strong="H1904" out of heaven|strong="H8064", and said|strong="H0559" unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar|strong="H1904"? fear|strong="H3372" not; for God|strong="H0430" hath heard|strong="H8085" the voice|strong="H6963" of the lad|strong="H5288" where he is.

Arise|strong="H6965", lift up|strong="H5375" the lad|strong="H5288", and hold|strong="H2388" him in thine hand|strong="H3027"; for I will make|strong="H7760" him a great|strong="H1419" nation|strong="H1471".

And God|strong="H0430" opened|strong="H6491" her eyes|strong="H5869", and she saw|strong="H7200" a well|strong="H0875" of water|strong="H4325"; and she went|strong="H3212", and filled|strong="H4390" the bottle|strong="H2573" with water|strong="H4325", and gave|strong="H8248" the lad|strong="H5288" drink|strong="H8248".

And God|strong="H0430" was with the lad|strong="H5288"; and he grew|strong="H1431", and dwelt|strong="H3427" in the wilderness|strong="H4057", and became an archer|strong="H7235".

And he dwelt|strong="H3427" in the wilderness|strong="H4057" of Paran|strong="H6290": and his mother|strong="H0517" took|strong="H3947" him a wife|strong="H0802" out of the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714".

And it came to pass at that time|strong="H6256", that Abimelech|strong="H0040" and Phichol|strong="H6369" the chief captain|strong="H8269" of his host|strong="H6635" spake|strong="H0559" unto Abraham|strong="H0085", saying|strong="H0559", God|strong="H0430" is with thee in all that thou doest|strong="H6213":

Now therefore swear|strong="H7650" unto me here|strong="H2008" by God|strong="H0430" that thou wilt not deal falsely|strong="H8266" with me, nor with my son|strong="H5209", nor with my son’s son|strong="H5220": but according to the kindness|strong="H2617" that I have done|strong="H6213" unto thee, thou shalt do|strong="H6213" unto me, and to the land|strong="H0776" wherein thou hast sojourned|strong="H1481".

And Abraham|strong="H0085" said|strong="H0559", I will swear|strong="H7650".

And Abraham|strong="H0085" reproved|strong="H3198" Abimelech|strong="H0040" because|strong="H0182" of a well|strong="H0875" of water|strong="H4325", which Abimelech’s|strong="H0040" servants|strong="H5650" had violently taken away|strong="H1497".

And Abimelech|strong="H0040" said|strong="H0559", I wot|strong="H3045" not who hath done|strong="H6213" this thing|strong="H1697": neither|strong="H3808" didst thou tell|strong="H5046" me, neither|strong="H3808" yet heard|strong="H8085" I of it, but|strong="H1115" to day|strong="H3117".

And Abraham|strong="H0085" took|strong="H3947" sheep|strong="H6629" and oxen|strong="H1241", and gave|strong="H5414" them unto Abimelech|strong="H0040"; and both of them|strong="H8147" made|strong="H3772" a covenant|strong="H1285".

And Abraham|strong="H0085" set|strong="H5324" seven|strong="H7651" ewe lambs|strong="H3535" of the flock|strong="H6629" by themselves.

And Abimelech|strong="H0040" said|strong="H0559" unto Abraham|strong="H0085", What|strong="H2008" mean these seven|strong="H7651" ewe lambs|strong="H3535" which thou hast set|strong="H5324" by themselves?

And he said|strong="H0559", For these seven|strong="H7651" ewe lambs|strong="H3535" shalt thou take|strong="H3947" of my hand|strong="H3027", that|strong="H5668" they may be a witness|strong="H5713" unto me, that I have digged|strong="H2658" this well|strong="H0875".

Wherefore he called|strong="H7121" that place|strong="H4725" Beer-sheba|strong="H0884"; because there they sware|strong="H7650" both of them|strong="H8147".

Thus they made|strong="H3772" a covenant|strong="H1285" at Beer-sheba|strong="H0884": then Abimelech|strong="H0040" rose up|strong="H6965", and Phichol|strong="H6369" the chief captain|strong="H8269" of his host|strong="H6635", and they returned|strong="H7725" into the land|strong="H0776" of the Philistines|strong="H6430".

And Abraham planted|strong="H5193" a grove|strong="H0815" in Beer-sheba|strong="H0884", and called|strong="H7121" there on the name|strong="H8034" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, the everlasting|strong="H5769" God|strong="H0410".

And Abraham|strong="H0085" sojourned|strong="H1481" in the Philistines’|strong="H6430" land|strong="H0776" many|strong="H7227" days|strong="H3117".
