Gênesis 19

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

And there came|strong="H0935" two|strong="H8147" angels|strong="H4397" to Sodom|strong="H5467" at even|strong="H6153"; and Lot|strong="H3876" sat|strong="H3427" in the gate|strong="H8179" of Sodom|strong="H5467": and Lot|strong="H3876" seeing|strong="H7200" them rose up|strong="H6965" to meet|strong="H7125" them; and he bowed|strong="H7812" himself with his face|strong="H0639" toward the ground|strong="H0776";

And he said|strong="H0559", Behold now, my lords|strong="H0113", turn in|strong="H5493", I pray you, into your servant’s|strong="H5650" house|strong="H1004", and tarry all night|strong="H3885", and wash|strong="H7364" your feet|strong="H7272", and ye shall rise up early|strong="H7925", and go|strong="H1980" on your ways|strong="H1870". And they said|strong="H0559", Nay; but we will abide|strong="H3885" in the street|strong="H7339" all night|strong="H3885".

And he pressed|strong="H6484" upon them greatly|strong="H3966"; and they turned in|strong="H5493" unto him, and entered|strong="H0935" into his house|strong="H1004"; and he made|strong="H6213" them a feast|strong="H4960", and did bake|strong="H0644" unleavened bread|strong="H4682", and they did eat|strong="H0398".

But before they lay down|strong="H7901", the men|strong="H0582" of the city|strong="H5892", even the men|strong="H0582" of Sodom|strong="H5467", compassed|strong="H5437" the house|strong="H1004" round|strong="H5437", both old|strong="H2205" and young|strong="H5288", all the people|strong="H5971" from every quarter|strong="H7097":

And they called|strong="H7121" unto Lot|strong="H3876", and said|strong="H0559" unto him, Where are the men|strong="H0582" which came in|strong="H0935" to thee this night|strong="H3915"? bring them out|strong="H3318" unto us, that we may know|strong="H3045" them.

And Lot|strong="H3876" went out|strong="H3318" at the door|strong="H6607" unto them, and shut|strong="H5462" the door|strong="H1817" after him|strong="H0310",

And said|strong="H0559", I pray you, brethren|strong="H0251", do not so wickedly|strong="H7489".

Behold now, I have two|strong="H8147" daughters|strong="H1323" which have not known|strong="H3045" man|strong="H0376"; let me, I pray you, bring them out|strong="H3318" unto you, and do|strong="H6213" ye to them as is good|strong="H2896" in your eyes|strong="H5869": only unto these|strong="H0411" men|strong="H0582" do|strong="H6213" nothing|strong="H0408"; for therefore came|strong="H0935" they under the shadow|strong="H6738" of my roof|strong="H6982".

And they said|strong="H0559", Stand|strong="H5066" back|strong="H1973". And they said|strong="H0559" again, This one|strong="H0259" fellow came in|strong="H0935" to sojourn|strong="H1481", and he will needs|strong="H8199" be a judge|strong="H8199": now will we deal worse|strong="H7489" with thee, than with them. And they pressed|strong="H6484" sore|strong="H3966" upon the man|strong="H0376", even Lot|strong="H3876", and came near|strong="H5066" to break|strong="H7665" the door|strong="H1817".

But the men|strong="H0582" put forth|strong="H7971" their hand|strong="H3027", and pulled|strong="H0935" Lot|strong="H3876" into the house|strong="H1004" to them, and shut|strong="H5462" to the door|strong="H1817".

And they smote|strong="H5221" the men|strong="H0582" that were at the door|strong="H6607" of the house|strong="H1004" with blindness|strong="H5575", both small|strong="H6996" and great|strong="H1419": so that they wearied|strong="H3811" themselves to find|strong="H4672" the door|strong="H6607".

And the men|strong="H0582" said|strong="H0559" unto Lot|strong="H3876", Hast thou here|strong="H6311" any|strong="H4310" besides? son in law|strong="H2860", and thy sons|strong="H1121", and thy daughters|strong="H1323", and whatsoever|strong="H0834" thou hast in the city|strong="H5892", bring them out|strong="H3318" of this place|strong="H4725":

For we|strong="H0587" will destroy|strong="H7843" this place|strong="H4725", because the cry of them|strong="H6818" is waxen great|strong="H1431" before|strong="H0854" the face|strong="H6440" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath sent|strong="H7971" us to destroy|strong="H7843" it.

And Lot|strong="H3876" went out|strong="H3318", and spake|strong="H1696" unto his sons in law|strong="H2860", which married|strong="H3947" his daughters|strong="H1323", and said|strong="H0559", Up|strong="H6965", get you out|strong="H3318" of this place|strong="H4725"; for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* will destroy|strong="H7843" this city|strong="H5892". But he seemed as one that mocked|strong="H6711" unto|strong="H5869" his sons in law|strong="H2860".

And when|strong="H3644" the morning|strong="H7837" arose|strong="H5927", then the angels|strong="H4397" hastened|strong="H0213" Lot|strong="H3876", saying|strong="H0559", Arise|strong="H6965", take|strong="H3947" thy wife|strong="H0802", and thy two|strong="H8147" daughters|strong="H1323", which are here|strong="H4672"; lest thou be consumed|strong="H5595" in the iniquity|strong="H5771" of the city|strong="H5892".

And while he lingered|strong="H4102", the men|strong="H0582" laid hold|strong="H2388" upon his hand|strong="H3027", and upon the hand|strong="H3027" of his wife|strong="H0802", and upon the hand|strong="H3027" of his two|strong="H8147" daughters|strong="H1323"; the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* being merciful|strong="H2551" unto him: and they brought him forth|strong="H3318", and set him|strong="H3240" without|strong="H2351" the city|strong="H5892".

And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth|strong="H3318" abroad|strong="H2351", that he said|strong="H0559", Escape|strong="H4422" for|strong="H5921" thy life|strong="H5315"; look|strong="H5027" not behind thee|strong="H0310", neither stay|strong="H5975" thou in all the plain|strong="H3603"; escape|strong="H4422" to the mountain|strong="H2022", lest thou be consumed|strong="H5595".

And Lot|strong="H3876" said|strong="H0559" unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord|strong="H0113":

Behold now, thy servant|strong="H5650" hath found|strong="H4672" grace|strong="H2580" in thy sight|strong="H5869", and thou hast magnified|strong="H1431" thy mercy|strong="H2617", which thou hast shewed|strong="H6213" unto me|strong="H5978" in saving|strong="H2421" my life|strong="H5315"; and I cannot|strong="H3201" escape|strong="H4422" to the mountain|strong="H2022", lest some evil|strong="H7451" take|strong="H1692" me, and I die|strong="H4191":

Behold now, this city|strong="H5892" is near|strong="H7138" to flee|strong="H5127" unto, and it|strong="H1931" is a little one|strong="H4705": Oh, let me escape|strong="H4422" thither, (is it not a little one|strong="H4705"?) and my soul|strong="H5315" shall live|strong="H2421".

And he said|strong="H0559" unto him, See|strong="H2009", I have accepted|strong="H5375" thee|strong="H6440" concerning this thing|strong="H1697" also, that I will not overthrow|strong="H2015" this city|strong="H5892", for the which|strong="H0834" thou hast spoken|strong="H1696".

Haste|strong="H4116" thee, escape|strong="H4422" thither; for I cannot|strong="H3201" do|strong="H6213" any thing|strong="H1697" till thou be come|strong="H0935" thither. Therefore the name|strong="H8034" of the city|strong="H5892" was called|strong="H7121" Zoar|strong="H6820".

The sun|strong="H8121" was risen|strong="H3318" upon the earth|strong="H0776" when Lot|strong="H3876" entered|strong="H0935" into Zoar|strong="H6820".

Then the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* rained|strong="H4305" upon Sodom|strong="H5467" and upon Gomorrah|strong="H6017" brimstone|strong="H1614" and fire|strong="H0784" from the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* out of heaven|strong="H8064";

And he overthrew|strong="H2015" those|strong="H0411" cities|strong="H5892", and all the plain|strong="H3603", and all the inhabitants|strong="H3427" of the cities|strong="H5892", and that which grew|strong="H6780" upon the ground|strong="H0127".

But his wife|strong="H0802" looked back|strong="H5027" from behind him|strong="H0310", and she became a pillar|strong="H5333" of salt|strong="H4417".

And Abraham|strong="H0085" gat up early|strong="H7925" in the morning|strong="H1242" to the place|strong="H4725" where he stood|strong="H5975" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*:

And he looked|strong="H8259" toward|strong="H6440" Sodom|strong="H5467" and Gomorrah|strong="H6017", and toward|strong="H6440" all the land|strong="H0776" of the plain|strong="H3603", and beheld|strong="H7200", and, lo, the smoke|strong="H7008" of the country|strong="H0776" went up|strong="H5927" as the smoke|strong="H7008" of a furnace|strong="H3536".

And it came to pass, when God|strong="H0430" destroyed|strong="H7843" the cities|strong="H5892" of the plain|strong="H3603", that God|strong="H0430" remembered|strong="H2142" Abraham|strong="H0085", and sent|strong="H7971" Lot|strong="H3876" out of the midst|strong="H8432" of the overthrow|strong="H2018", when he overthrew|strong="H2015" the cities|strong="H5892" in the which|strong="H2004" Lot|strong="H3876" dwelt|strong="H3427".

And Lot|strong="H3876" went up|strong="H5927" out of Zoar|strong="H6820", and dwelt|strong="H3427" in the mountain|strong="H2022", and his two|strong="H8147" daughters|strong="H1323" with him; for he feared|strong="H3372" to dwell|strong="H3427" in Zoar|strong="H6820": and he dwelt|strong="H3427" in a cave|strong="H4631", he and his two|strong="H8147" daughters|strong="H1323".

And the firstborn|strong="H1067" said|strong="H0559" unto the younger|strong="H6810", Our father|strong="H0001" is old|strong="H2204", and there is not a man|strong="H0376" in the earth|strong="H0776" to come in|strong="H0935" unto us after the manner|strong="H1870" of all the earth|strong="H0776":

Come|strong="H3212", let us make|strong="H8248" our father|strong="H0001" drink|strong="H8248" wine|strong="H3196", and we will lie|strong="H7901" with him, that we may preserve|strong="H2421" seed|strong="H2233" of our father|strong="H0001".

And they made|strong="H8248" their father|strong="H0001" drink|strong="H8248" wine|strong="H3196" that night|strong="H3915": and the firstborn|strong="H1067" went in|strong="H0935", and lay|strong="H7901" with her father|strong="H0001"; and he perceived|strong="H3045" not when she lay down|strong="H7901", nor when she arose|strong="H6965".

And it came to pass on the morrow|strong="H4283", that the firstborn|strong="H1067" said|strong="H0559" unto the younger|strong="H6810", Behold, I lay|strong="H7901" yesternight|strong="H0570" with my father|strong="H0001": let us make him drink|strong="H8248" wine|strong="H3196" this night|strong="H3915" also; and go thou in|strong="H0935", and lie|strong="H7901" with him, that we may preserve|strong="H2421" seed|strong="H2233" of our father|strong="H0001".

And they made|strong="H8248" their father|strong="H0001" drink|strong="H8248" wine|strong="H3196" that|strong="H1931" night|strong="H3915" also: and the younger|strong="H6810" arose|strong="H6965", and lay|strong="H7901" with him; and he perceived|strong="H3045" not when she lay down|strong="H7901", nor when she arose|strong="H6965".

Thus were both|strong="H8147" the daughters|strong="H1323" of Lot|strong="H3876" with child|strong="H2029" by their father|strong="H0001".

And the firstborn|strong="H1067" bare|strong="H3205" a son|strong="H1121", and called|strong="H7121" his name|strong="H8034" Moab|strong="H4124": the same|strong="H1931" is the father|strong="H0001" of the Moabites|strong="H4124" unto this day|strong="H3117".

And the younger|strong="H6810", she also bare|strong="H3205" a son|strong="H1121", and called|strong="H7121" his name|strong="H8034" Ben-ammi|strong="H1151": the same is the father|strong="H0001" of the children|strong="H1121" of Ammon|strong="H5983" unto this day|strong="H3117".
