Gênesis 12

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

Now the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* had said|strong="H0559" unto Abram|strong="H0087", Get thee out|strong="H3212" of thy country|strong="H0776", and from thy kindred|strong="H4138", and from thy father’s|strong="H0001" house|strong="H1004", unto a land|strong="H0776" that I will shew|strong="H7200" thee:

And I will make of thee|strong="H6213" a great|strong="H1419" nation|strong="H1471", and I will bless|strong="H1288" thee, and make|strong="H1431" thy name|strong="H8034" great|strong="H1431"; and thou shalt be a blessing|strong="H1293":

And I will bless|strong="H1288" them that bless|strong="H1288" thee, and curse|strong="H0779" him that curseth|strong="H7043" thee: and in thee shall all families|strong="H4940" of the earth|strong="H0127" be blessed|strong="H1288".

So Abram|strong="H0087" departed|strong="H3212", as the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* had spoken|strong="H1696" unto him; and Lot|strong="H3876" went|strong="H3212" with him: and Abram|strong="H0087" was seventy|strong="H7657" and five|strong="H2568" years|strong="H8141" old|strong="H1121" when he departed|strong="H3318" out of Haran|strong="H2771".

And Abram|strong="H0087" took|strong="H3947" Sarai|strong="H8297" his wife|strong="H0802", and Lot|strong="H3876" his brother’s|strong="H0251" son|strong="H1121", and all their substance|strong="H7399" that they had gathered|strong="H7408", and the souls|strong="H5315" that they had gotten|strong="H6213" in Haran|strong="H2771"; and they went forth|strong="H3318" to go|strong="H3212" into the land|strong="H0776" of Canaan|strong="H3667"; and into the land|strong="H0776" of Canaan|strong="H3667" they came|strong="H0935".

And Abram|strong="H0087" passed through|strong="H5674" the land|strong="H0776" unto the place|strong="H4725" of Sichem|strong="H7927", unto the plain|strong="H0436" of Moreh|strong="H4176". And the Canaanite|strong="H3669" was then|strong="H0227" in the land|strong="H0776".

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* appeared|strong="H7200" unto Abram|strong="H0087", and said|strong="H0559", Unto thy seed|strong="H2233" will I give|strong="H5414" this|strong="H2063" land|strong="H0776": and there builded|strong="H1129" he an altar|strong="H4196" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, who appeared|strong="H7200" unto him.

And he removed|strong="H6275" from thence unto a mountain|strong="H2022" on the east|strong="H6924" of Beth-el|strong="H1008", and pitched|strong="H5186" his tent|strong="H0168", having Beth-el|strong="H1008" on the west|strong="H3220", and Hai|strong="H5857" on the east|strong="H6924": and there he builded|strong="H1129" an altar|strong="H4196" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and called|strong="H7121" upon the name|strong="H8034" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.

And Abram|strong="H0087" journeyed|strong="H5265", going on|strong="H1980" still|strong="H5265" toward the south|strong="H5045".

And there was a famine|strong="H7458" in the land|strong="H0776": and Abram|strong="H0087" went down|strong="H3381" into Egypt|strong="H4714" to sojourn|strong="H1481" there; for the famine|strong="H7458" was grievous|strong="H3515" in the land|strong="H0776".

And it came to pass, when|strong="H0834" he was come near|strong="H7126" to enter|strong="H0935" into Egypt|strong="H4714", that he said|strong="H0559" unto Sarai|strong="H8297" his wife|strong="H0802", Behold|strong="H2009" now|strong="H4994", I know|strong="H3045" that thou art a fair|strong="H3303" woman|strong="H0802" to look upon|strong="H4758":

Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians|strong="H4713" shall see|strong="H7200" thee, that they shall say|strong="H0559", This is his wife|strong="H0802": and they will kill|strong="H2026" me, but they will save thee alive|strong="H2421".

Say|strong="H0559", I pray thee|strong="H4994", thou art my sister|strong="H0269": that|strong="H4616" it may be well|strong="H3190" with me for thy sake; and my soul|strong="H5315" shall live|strong="H2421" because of thee|strong="H1558".

And it came to pass, that, when Abram|strong="H0087" was come|strong="H0935" into Egypt|strong="H4714", the Egyptians|strong="H4713" beheld|strong="H7200" the woman|strong="H0802" that she was very|strong="H3966" fair|strong="H3303".

The princes|strong="H8269" also of Pharaoh|strong="H6547" saw|strong="H7200" her, and commended|strong="H1984" her before|strong="H0413" Pharaoh|strong="H6547": and the woman|strong="H0802" was taken|strong="H3947" into Pharaoh’s|strong="H6547" house|strong="H1004".

And he entreated|strong="H3190" Abram|strong="H0087" well|strong="H3190" for her sake: and he had sheep|strong="H6629", and oxen|strong="H1241", and he asses|strong="H2543", and menservants|strong="H5650", and maidservants|strong="H8198", and she asses|strong="H0860", and camels|strong="H1581".

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* plagued|strong="H5060" Pharaoh|strong="H6547" and his house|strong="H1004" with great|strong="H1419" plagues|strong="H5061" because of|strong="H1697" Sarai|strong="H8297" Abram’s|strong="H0087" wife|strong="H0802".

And Pharaoh|strong="H6547" called|strong="H7121" Abram|strong="H0087", and said|strong="H0559", What is this that thou hast done|strong="H6213" unto me? why didst thou not tell|strong="H5046" me that she was thy wife|strong="H0802"?

Why saidst thou|strong="H0559", She is my sister|strong="H0269"? so I might have taken|strong="H3947" her to me to wife|strong="H0802": now therefore behold thy wife|strong="H0802", take|strong="H3947" her, and go thy way|strong="H3212".

And Pharaoh|strong="H6547" commanded|strong="H6680" his men|strong="H0582" concerning him: and they sent him away|strong="H7971", and his wife|strong="H0802", and all that he had.
