1 Then I looked|strong="H7200", and, behold, in the firmament|strong="H7549" that was above the head|strong="H7218" of the cherubims|strong="H3742" there appeared|strong="H7200" over them as it were a sapphire|strong="H5601" stone|strong="H0068", as the appearance|strong="H4758" of the likeness|strong="H1823" of a throne|strong="H3678".
2 And he spake|strong="H0559" unto the man|strong="H0376" clothed|strong="H3847" with linen|strong="H0906", and said|strong="H0559", Go in|strong="H0935" between|strong="H0996" the wheels|strong="H1534", even under the cherub|strong="H3742", and fill|strong="H4390" thine hand|strong="H2651" with coals|strong="H1513" of fire|strong="H0784" from between|strong="H0996" the cherubims|strong="H3742", and scatter|strong="H2236" them over the city|strong="H5892". And he went in|strong="H0935" in my sight|strong="H5869".
3 Now the cherubims|strong="H3742" stood|strong="H5975" on the right side|strong="H3225" of the house|strong="H1004", when the man|strong="H0376" went in|strong="H0935"; and the cloud|strong="H6051" filled|strong="H4390" the inner|strong="H6442" court|strong="H2691".
4 Then the glory|strong="H3519" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* went up|strong="H7311" from the cherub|strong="H3742", and stood over the threshold|strong="H4670" of the house|strong="H1004"; and the house|strong="H1004" was filled|strong="H4390" with the cloud|strong="H6051", and the court|strong="H2691" was full|strong="H4390" of the brightness|strong="H5051" of the \+w LORD’s|strong="H3068"\+w* glory|strong="H3519".
5 And the sound|strong="H6963" of the cherubims’|strong="H3742" wings|strong="H3671" was heard|strong="H8085" even to the outer|strong="H2435" court|strong="H2691", as the voice|strong="H6963" of the Almighty|strong="H7706" God|strong="H0410" when he speaketh|strong="H1696".
6 And it came to pass, that when he had commanded|strong="H6680" the man|strong="H0376" clothed|strong="H3847" with linen|strong="H0906", saying|strong="H0559", Take|strong="H3947" fire|strong="H0784" from between the wheels|strong="H1534", from between the cherubims|strong="H3742"; then he went in|strong="H0935", and stood|strong="H5975" beside|strong="H0681" the wheels|strong="H0212".
7 And one cherub|strong="H3742" stretched forth|strong="H7971" his hand|strong="H3027" from between the cherubims|strong="H3742" unto the fire|strong="H0784" that was between the cherubims|strong="H3742", and took|strong="H5375" thereof, and put|strong="H5414" it into the hands|strong="H2651" of him that was clothed|strong="H3847" with linen|strong="H0906": who took|strong="H3947" it, and went out|strong="H3318".
8 And there appeared|strong="H7200" in the cherubims|strong="H3742" the form|strong="H8403" of a man’s|strong="H0120" hand|strong="H3027" under their wings|strong="H3671".
9 And when I looked|strong="H7200", behold the four|strong="H0702" wheels|strong="H0212" by|strong="H0681" the cherubims|strong="H3742", one|strong="H0259" wheel|strong="H0212" by|strong="H0681" one|strong="H0259" cherub|strong="H3742", and another|strong="H0259" wheel|strong="H0212" by|strong="H0681" another|strong="H0259" cherub|strong="H3742": and the appearance|strong="H4758" of the wheels|strong="H0212" was as the colour|strong="H5869" of a beryl|strong="H8658" stone|strong="H0068".
10 And as for their appearances|strong="H4758", they four|strong="H0702" had one|strong="H0259" likeness|strong="H1823", as if a wheel|strong="H0212" had been in the midst|strong="H8432" of a wheel|strong="H0212".
11 When they went|strong="H3212", they went|strong="H3212" upon their four|strong="H0702" sides|strong="H7253"; they turned|strong="H5437" not as they went|strong="H3212", but to the place|strong="H4725" whither the head|strong="H7218" looked|strong="H6437" they followed|strong="H3212" it; they turned|strong="H5437" not as they went|strong="H3212".
12 And their whole body|strong="H1320", and their backs|strong="H1354", and their hands|strong="H3027", and their wings|strong="H3671", and the wheels|strong="H0212", were full|strong="H4392" of eyes|strong="H5869" round about|strong="H5439", even the wheels|strong="H0212" that they four|strong="H0702" had.
13 As for the wheels|strong="H0212", it was cried|strong="H7121" unto them in my hearing|strong="H0241", O wheel|strong="H1534".
14 And every one|strong="H0259" had four|strong="H0702" faces|strong="H6440": the first|strong="H0259" face|strong="H6440" was the face|strong="H6440" of a cherub|strong="H3742", and the second|strong="H8145" face|strong="H6440" was the face|strong="H6440" of a man|strong="H0120", and the third|strong="H7992" the face|strong="H6440" of a lion|strong="H0738", and the fourth|strong="H7243" the face|strong="H6440" of an eagle|strong="H5404".
15 And the cherubims|strong="H3742" were lifted up|strong="H7426". This is the living creature|strong="H2416" that I saw|strong="H7200" by the river|strong="H5104" of Chebar|strong="H3529".
16 And when the cherubims|strong="H3742" went|strong="H3212", the wheels|strong="H0212" went|strong="H3212" by them|strong="H0681": and when the cherubims|strong="H3742" lifted up|strong="H5375" their wings|strong="H3671" to mount up|strong="H7311" from the earth|strong="H0776", the same wheels|strong="H0212" also|strong="H1992" turned|strong="H5437" not from beside|strong="H0681" them.
17 When they stood|strong="H5975", these stood|strong="H5975"; and when they were lifted up|strong="H7311", these lifted up|strong="H7426" themselves also: for the spirit|strong="H7307" of the living creature|strong="H2416" was in them.
18 Then the glory|strong="H3519" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* departed|strong="H3318" from off the threshold|strong="H4670" of the house|strong="H1004", and stood|strong="H5975" over the cherubims|strong="H3742".
19 And the cherubims|strong="H3742" lifted up|strong="H5375" their wings|strong="H3671", and mounted up|strong="H7426" from the earth|strong="H0776" in my sight|strong="H5869": when they went out|strong="H3318", the wheels|strong="H0212" also were beside|strong="H5980" them, and every one stood|strong="H5975" at the door|strong="H6607" of the east|strong="H6931" gate|strong="H8179" of the \+w LORD’s|strong="H3068"\+w* house|strong="H1004"; and the glory|strong="H3519" of the God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478" was over them above|strong="H4605".
20 This is the living creature|strong="H2416" that I saw|strong="H7200" under the God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478" by the river|strong="H5104" of Chebar|strong="H3529"; and I knew|strong="H3045" that they were the cherubims|strong="H3742".
21 Every one|strong="H0259" had four|strong="H0702" faces|strong="H6440" apiece|strong="H0259", and every one|strong="H0259" four|strong="H0702" wings|strong="H3671"; and the likeness|strong="H1823" of the hands|strong="H3027" of a man|strong="H0120" was under their wings|strong="H3671".
22 And the likeness|strong="H1823" of their faces|strong="H6440" was the same|strong="H1992" faces|strong="H6440" which I saw|strong="H7200" by the river|strong="H5104" of Chebar|strong="H3529", their appearances|strong="H4758" and themselves: they went|strong="H3212" every one|strong="H0376" straight|strong="H5676" forward|strong="H6440".
