Cânticos 3

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

By night|strong="H3915" on my bed|strong="H4904" I sought|strong="H1245" him whom my soul|strong="H5315" loveth|strong="H0157": I sought|strong="H1245" him, but I found|strong="H4672" him not.

I will rise|strong="H6965" now, and go about|strong="H5437" the city|strong="H5892" in the streets|strong="H7784", and in the broad ways|strong="H7339" I will seek|strong="H1245" him whom my soul|strong="H5315" loveth|strong="H0157": I sought|strong="H1245" him, but I found|strong="H4672" him not.

The watchmen|strong="H8104" that go about|strong="H5437" the city|strong="H5892" found|strong="H4672" me: to whom I said, Saw|strong="H7200" ye him whom my soul|strong="H5315" loveth|strong="H0157"?

It was but a little|strong="H4592" that I passed|strong="H5674" from them, but I found|strong="H4672" him whom my soul|strong="H5315" loveth|strong="H0157": I held|strong="H0270" him, and would not let him go|strong="H7503", until I had brought|strong="H0935" him into my mother’s|strong="H0517" house|strong="H1004", and into the chamber|strong="H2315" of her that conceived|strong="H2029" me.

I charge|strong="H7650" you, O ye daughters|strong="H1323" of Jerusalem|strong="H3389", by the roes|strong="H6643", and|strong="H0176" by the hinds|strong="H0355" of the field|strong="H7704", that ye stir not up|strong="H5782", nor awake|strong="H5782" my love|strong="H0160", till he please|strong="H2654".

Who is this that cometh|strong="H5927" out of the wilderness|strong="H4057" like pillars|strong="H8490" of smoke|strong="H6227", perfumed|strong="H6999" with myrrh|strong="H4753" and frankincense|strong="H3828", with all powders|strong="H0081" of the merchant|strong="H7402"?

Behold his bed|strong="H4296", which is Solomon’s|strong="H8010"; threescore|strong="H8346" valiant|strong="H1368" men are about|strong="H5439" it, of the valiant|strong="H1368" of Israel|strong="H3478".

They all hold|strong="H0270" swords|strong="H2719", being expert|strong="H3925" in war|strong="H4421": every man|strong="H0376" hath his sword|strong="H2719" upon his thigh|strong="H3409" because of fear|strong="H6343" in the night|strong="H3915".

King|strong="H4428" Solomon|strong="H8010" made|strong="H6213" himself a chariot|strong="H0668" of the wood|strong="H6086" of Lebanon|strong="H3844".

He made|strong="H6213" the pillars|strong="H5982" thereof of silver|strong="H3701", the bottom|strong="H7507" thereof of gold|strong="H2091", the covering|strong="H4817" of it of purple|strong="H0713", the midst|strong="H8432" thereof being paved|strong="H7528" with love|strong="H0160", for the daughters|strong="H1323" of Jerusalem|strong="H3389".

Go forth|strong="H3318", O ye daughters|strong="H1323" of Zion|strong="H6726", and behold|strong="H7200" king|strong="H4428" Solomon|strong="H8010" with the crown|strong="H5850" wherewith his mother|strong="H0517" crowned|strong="H5849" him in the day|strong="H3117" of his espousals|strong="H2861", and in the day|strong="H3117" of the gladness|strong="H8057" of his heart|strong="H3820".
