1 Unto the end, a psalm for David, to bring to remembrance that the Lord saved him.
1 Agrada-te, ó Deus, em me livrar; apressa-te, ó em me socorrer.
2 O God, come to my assistance; O Lord, make haste to help me.
2 Que sejam envergonhados e cobertos de vexame os que buscam tirar-me a vida; retrocedam e cubram-se de vergonha os que se alegram com o meu mal.
3 Let them be confounded and ashamed that seek my soul:
3 Retrocedam por causa da sua vergonha os que dizem: “Bem feito! Bem feito!”
4 Let them be turned backward, and blush for shame that desire evils to me: Let them be presently turned away blushing for shame that say to me: 'T is well, 't is well.
4 Exultem e em ti se alegrem todos os que te buscam; e os que amam a tua salvação digam sempre: “Deus seja engrandecido!”
5 Let all that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; and let such as love thy salvation say always: The Lord be magnified.
5 Eu sou pobre e necessitado; ó Deus, apressa-te em me socorrer, pois tu és o meu amparo e o meu libertador.
6 But I am needy and poor; O God, help me. Thou art my helper and my deliverer: O Lord, make no delay.
