1 Unto the end, a psalm for David. Judge me, O Lord, for I have walked in my innocence: and I have put my trust in the Lord, and shall not be weakened.
1 Julga-me, Senhor , pois tenho andado em minha sinceridade; tenho confiado também no Senhor ; não vacilarei.
2 Prove me, O Lord, and try me; burn my reins and my heart.
2 Examina-me, Senhor , e prova-me; esquadrinha a minha mente e o meu coração.
3 For thy mercy is before my eyes; and I am well pleased with thy truth.
3 Porque a tua benignidade está diante dos meus olhos; e tenho andado na tua verdade.
4 I have not sat with the council of vanity: neither will I go in with the doers of unjust things.
4 Não me tenho assentado com homens vãos, nem converso com os homens dissimulados.
5 I have hated the assembly of the malignant; and with the wicked I will not sit.
5 Tenho aborrecido a congregação de malfeitores; não me ajunto com os ímpios.
6 I will wash my hands among the innocent; and will compass thy altar, O Lord:
6 Lavo as minhas mãos na inocência; e assim andarei, Senhor , ao redor do teu altar,
7 That I may hear the voice of thy praise: and tell of all thy wondrous works.
7 para publicar com voz de louvor e contar todas as tuas maravilhas.
8 I have loved, O Lord, the beauty of thy house; and the place where thy glory dwelleth.
8 Senhor , eu tenho amado a habitação da tua casa e o lugar onde permanece a tua glória.
9 Take not away my soul, O God, with the wicked: nor my life with bloody men:
9 Não colhas a minha alma com a dos pecadores, nem a minha vida com a dos homens sanguinolentos,
10 In whose hands are iniquities: their right hand is filled with gifts.
10 em cujas mãos há malefício, e cuja mão direita está cheia de subornos.
11 But as for me, I have walked in my innocence: redeem me, and have mercy on me.
11 Mas eu ando na minha sinceridade; livra-me e tem piedade de mim.
12 My foot hath stood in the direct way: in the churches I will bless thee, O Lord.
12 O meu pé está posto em caminho plano; nas congregações louvarei ao Senhor .
