1 A psalm of David. Lord, who shall dwell in thy tabernacle? or who shall rest in thy holy hill?
1 Senhor , quem habitará no teu tabernáculo? Quem poderá morar no teu santo monte?
2 He that walketh without blemish, and worketh justice:
2 Aquele que vive com integridade, que pratica a justiça, e, de coração, fala a verdade;
3 He that speaketh truth in his heart, who hath not used deceit in his tongue: Nor hath done evil to his neighbour: nor taken up a reproach against his neighbours.
3 aquele que não difama com sua língua, não faz mal ao próximo, nem lança injúria contra o seu vizinho;
4 In his sight the malignant is brought to nothing: but he glorifieth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his neighbour, and deceiveth not;
4 aquele que, a seus olhos, tem por desprezível ao que merece reprovação, mas honra os que temem o aquele que jura e cumpre o que prometeu, mesmo com prejuízo próprio;
5 he that hath not put out his money to usury, nor taken bribes against the innocent: He that doth these things shall not be moved for ever.
5 aquele que não empresta o seu dinheiro com usura, nem aceita suborno contra o inocente. Quem age assim não será jamais abalado.
