1 And Solomon built his own house in thirteen years, and brought it to perfection.
1 Porém a sua casa edificou Salomão em treze anos; e acabou toda a sua casa.
2 He built also the house of the forest of Libanus, the length of it was a hundred cubits, and the breadth fifty cubits, and the height thirty cubits: and four galleries between pillars of cedar: for he had cut cedar trees into pillars.
2 Também edificou a casa do bosque do Líbano de cem côvados de comprimento, e de cinqüenta côvados de largura, e de trinta côvados de altura, sobre quatro ordens de colunas de cedro, e vigas de cedro sobre as colunas.
3 And he covered the whole vault with boards of cedar, and it was held up with five and forty pillars. And one row had fifteen pillars,
3 E por cima estava coberta de cedro sobre as vigas, que estavam sobre quarenta e cinco colunas, quinze em cada ordem.
4 Set one against another,
4 E havia três ordens de janelas; e uma janela estava defronte da outra janela, em três ordens.
5 And looking one upon another, with equal space between the pillars, and over the pillars were square beams in- all things equal.
5 Também todas as portas e ombreiras quadradas eram de uma mesma vista; e uma janela estava defronte da outra, em três ordens.
6 And he made a porch of pillars of fifty cubits in length, and thirty cubits in breadth: and another porch before the greater porch: and pillars, and chapiters upon the pillars.
6 Depois fez um pórtico de colunas de cinqüenta côvados de comprimento e de trinta côvados de largura; e o pórtico estava defronte delas, e as colunas com as grossas vigas defronte delas.
7 He made also the porch of the throne, wherein is the seat of judgment: and covered it with cedar wood from the floor to the top.
7 Também fez o pórtico para o trono onde julgava, isto é, o pórtico do juízo, que estava revestido de cedro de soalho a soalho.
8 And in the midst of the porch, was a small house where he sat in judgment, of the like work. He made also a house for the daughter of Pharao (whom Solomon had taken to wife) of the same work, as this porch,
8 E em sua casa, em que morava, havia outro pátio, por dentro do pórtico, de obra semelhante à deste; também para a filha de Faraó, que Salomão tomara por mulher, fez uma casa semelhante àquele pórtico.
9 All of costly stones, which were sawed by a certain rule and measure both within and without: from the foundation to the top of the walls, and without unto the great court.
9 Todas estas coisas eram de pedras de grande valor, cortadas à medida, serradas à serra por dentro e por fora; e isto desde o fundamento até às beiras do teto, e por fora até ao grande pátio.
10 And the foundations were of costly stones, great stones of ten cubits or eight cubits:
10 Também estava fundado sobre pedras finas, pedras grandes; sobre pedras de dez côvados e pedras de oito côvados.
11 And above there were costly stones, or equal measure, hewed; and, in like manner, planks of cedar:
11 E em cima delas pedras de grande valor, lavradas segundo as medidas, e madeira de cedro.
12 And the greater court was made round with three rows of hewed stones, and one row of planks of cedar, moreover also in the inner court of the house of the Lord, and in the porch of the house.
12 Havia três ordens de pedras lavradas, com uma ordem de vigas de cedro; assim era também o pátio interior da casa do Senhor e o pórtico daquela casa.
13 And king Solomon sent, and brought Hiram from Tyre,
13 E enviou o rei Salomão um mensageiro e mandou trazer a Hirão de Tiro.
14 The son of a widow woman of the tribe of Nephtali, whose father was a Tyrian, an artificer in brass, and full of wisdom, and understanding, and skill to work all work in brass. And when he was come to king Solomon, he wrought all his work.
14 Era ele filho de uma mulher viúva, da tribo de Naftali, e fora seu pai um homem de Tiro, que trabalhava em cobre; e era cheio de sabedoria, e de entendimento, e de ciência para fazer toda a obra de cobre; este veio ao rei Salomão, e fez toda a sua obra.
15 And he cast two pillars in brass, each pillar was eighteen cubits high: and a line of twelve cubits compassed both the pillars.
15 E formou duas colunas de cobre; a altura de cada coluna era de dezoito côvados, e um fio de doze côvados cercava cada uma das colunas.
16 He made also two chapiters of molten brass, to be set upon the tops of the pillars: the height of one chapiter was five cubits, and the height of the other chapiter was five cubits:
16 Também fez dois capitéis de fundição de cobre para pôr sobre as cabeças das colunas; de cinco côvados era a altura de um capitel, e de cinco côvados a altura do outro capitel.
17 And a kind of network, and chain work wreathed together with wonderful art. Both the chapiters of the pillars were cast : seven rows of nets were on one chapiter, and seven nets on the other chapiter.
17 As redes eram de malhas, as ligas de obra de cadeia para os capitéis que estavam sobre a cabeça das colunas, sete para um capitel e sete para o outro capitel.
18 And he made the pillars, and two rows round about each network to cover the chapiters, that were upon the top, with pomegranates: and in like manner did he to the other chapiter.
18 Assim fez as colunas, juntamente com duas fileiras em redor sobre uma rede, para cobrir os capitéis que estavam sobre a cabeça das romãs, assim também fez com o outro capitel.
19 And the chapiters that were upon the top of the pillars, were of lily work in the porch, of four cubits.
19 E os capitéis que estavam sobre a cabeça das colunas eram de obra de lírios no pórtico, de quatro côvados.
20 And again other chapiters in the top of the pillars above, according to the measure of the pillar over against the network: and of pomegranates there were two hundred in rows round about the other chapiter.
20 Os capitéis, pois, sobre as duas colunas estavam também defronte, em cima da parte globular que estava junto à rede; e duzentas romãs, em fileiras em redor, estavam também sobre o outro capitel.
21 And he set up the two pillars in the porch of the temple: and when he had set up the pillar on the right hand, he called the name thereof Jachin: in like manner he set up the second pillar, and called the name thereof Booz.
21 Depois levantou as colunas no pórtico do templo; e levantando a coluna direita, pôs-lhe o nome de Jaquim; e levantando a coluna esquerda, pôs-lhe o nome de Boaz.
22 And upon the tops of the pillars he made lily work: so the work of the pillars was finished.
22 E sobre a cabeça das colunas estava a obra de lírios; e assim se acabou a obra das colunas.
23 He made also a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round all about; the height of it was five cubits, and a line of thirty cubits compassed it round about.
23 Fez mais o mar de fundição, de dez côvados de uma borda até à outra borda, perfeitamente redondo, e de cinco côvados de alto; e um cordão de trinta côvados o cingia em redor.
24 And a graven work under the brim of it compassed it, for ten cubits going about the sea: there were two rows cast of chamfered sculptures.
24 E por baixo da sua borda em redor havia botões que o cingiam; por dez côvados cercavam aquele mar em redor; duas ordens destes botões foram fundidas quando o mar foi fundido.
25 And it stood upon twelve oxen, of which three looked towards the north, and three towards the west, and three towards the south, and three towards the east, and the sea was above upon them, and their hinder parts were all hid within.
25 E firmava-se sobre doze bois, três que olhavam para o norte, e três que olhavam para o ocidente, e três que olhavam para o sul, e três que olhavam para o oriente; e o mar estava em cima deles, e todas as suas partes posteriores para o lado de dentro.
26 And the laver was a handbreadth thick: and the brim thereof was like the brim of a cup, or the leaf of a crisped lily: it contained two thousand bates.
26 E a grossura era de um palmo, e a sua borda era como a de um copo, como de flor de lírios; ele levava dois mil batos.
27 And he made ten bases of brass, every base was four cubits in length, and four cubits in breadth, and three cubits high.
27 Fez também as dez bases de cobre; o comprimento de uma base de quatro côvados, e de quatro côvados a sua largura, e três côvados a sua altura.
28 And the work itself of the bases, was intergraven: and there were gravings between the joinings.
28 E esta era a obra das bases; tinham cintas, e as cintas estavam entre as molduras.
29 And between the little crowns and the ledges were lions, and oxen, and cherubims: and in the joinings likewise above: and under the lions and oxen, as it were bands of brass hanging down.
29 E sobre as cintas que estavam entre as molduras havia leões, bois, e querubins, e sobre as molduras uma base por cima; e debaixo dos leões e dos bois junturas de obra estendida.
30 And every base had four wheels, and axletrees of brass: and at the four sides were undersetters under the laver molten, looking one against another.
30 E uma base tinha quatro rodas de metal, e lâminas de cobre; e os seus quatro cantos tinham suportes; debaixo da pia estavam estes suportes fundidos, do lado de cada uma das junturas.
31 The mouth also of the laver within, was in the top of the chapiter: and that which appeared without, was of one cubit all round, and together it was one cubit and a half: and in the corners of the pillars were divers engravings: and the spaces between the pillars were square, not round.
31 E a boca da pia estava dentro da coroa, e de um côvado por cima; e era a sua boca redonda segundo a obra da base, de côvado e meio; e também sobre a sua boca havia entalhes, e as suas cintas eram quadradas, não redondas.
32 And the four wheels, which were at the four corners of the base, were joined one to another under the base: the height of a wheel was a cubit and a half.
32 E as quatro rodas estavam debaixo das cintas, e os eixos das rodas na base; e era a altura de cada roda de côvado e meio.
33 And they were such wheels as are used to be made in a chariot: and their axletrees, and spokes, and strakes, and naves, were all east.
33 E era a obra das rodas como a obra da roda de carro; seus eixos, e suas cambas e seus cubos, e seus raios, todos eram fundidos.
34 And the four undersetters that were at every corner of each base, were of the base itself cast and joined together.
34 E havia quatro suportes aos quatro cantos de cada base; seus suportes saíam da base.
35 And in the top of the base there was a round compass of half a cubit, so wrought that the laver might be set thereon, having its gravings, and divers sculptures of itself.
35 E no alto de cada base havia uma peça redonda de meio côvado de altura; também sobre o alto de cada base havia asas e cintas, que saíam delas.
36 He engraved also in those plates, which were of brass. and in the corners, cherubims, and lions, and palm trees, in likeness of a man standing, so that they seemed not to be engraven, but added round about.
36 E nas placas de seus esteios e nas suas cintas lavrou querubins, leões, e palmas, segundo o espaço de cada uma, e outros adornos em redor.
37 After this manner he made ten bases, of one casting and measure, and the like graving.
37 Conforme a esta fez as dez bases; todas tinham uma mesma fundição, uma mesma medida, e um mesmo entalhe.
38 He made also ten lavers of brass: one laver contained four bases, and was of four cubits: and upon every base, in all ten, he put as many lavers.
38 Também fez dez pias de cobre; em cada pia cabiam quarenta batos, e cada pia era de quatro côvados, e sobre cada uma das dez bases estava uma pia.
39 And he set the ten bases, five on the right side of the temple, and five on the left: and the sea he put on the right side of the temple over against the east southward.
39 E pôs cinco bases à direita da casa, e cinco à esquerda da casa; porém o mar pôs ao lado direito da casa para o lado do oriente, da parte do sul.
40 And Hiram made caldrons, and shovels, and basins, and finished all the work of king Solomon in the temple of the Lord.
40 Depois fez Hirão as pias, e as pás, e as bacias; e acabou Hirão de fazer toda a obra que fez para o rei Salomão, para a casa do Senhor.
41 The two pillars and the two cords of the chapiters, upon the chapiters of the pillars: and the two networks, to cover the two cords, that were upon the top of the pillars.
41 A saber: as duas colunas, e os globos dos capitéis que estavam sobre a cabeça das duas colunas; e as duas redes, para cobrir os dois globos dos capitéis que estavam sobre a cabeça das colunas.
42 And four hundred pomegranates for the two networks: two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the cords of the chapiters, which were upon the tops of the pillars.
42 E as quatrocentas romãs para as duas redes, a saber: duas carreiras de romãs para cada rede, para cobrirem os dois globos dos capitéis que estavam em cima das colunas.
43 And the ten bases, and the ten lavers on the bases.
43 Juntamente com as dez bases, e as dez pias sobre as bases;
44 And one sea, and twelve oxen under the sea.
44 Como também um mar, e os doze bois debaixo daquele mar;
45 And the caldrons, and the shovels, and the basins. All the vessels that Hi- ram made for king Solomon for the house of the Lord, were of fine brass.
45 E os caldeirões, e as pás, e as bacias, e todos estes objetos que fez Hirão para o rei Salomão, para a casa do Senhor, todos eram de cobre polido.
46 In the plains of the Jordan did the king cast them in a clay ground, between Socoth and Sartham.
46 Na planície do Jordão, o rei os fundiu em terra barrenta; entre Sucote e Zaretã.
47 And Solomon placed all the vessels: but for exceeding great multitude the brass could not be weighed.
47 E deixou Salomão de pesar todos os objetos, pelo seu excessivo número; nem se averiguou o peso do cobre.
48 And Solomon made all the vessels for the house of the Lord: the altar of gold, and the table of gold, upon which the leaves of proposition should be set:
48 Também fez Salomão todos os objetos que convinham à casa do Senhor; o altar de ouro, e a mesa de ouro, sobre a qual estavam os pães da proposição.
49 And the golden candlesticks, five on the right hand, and five on the left, over against the oracle, of pure gold: and the flowers like lilies, and the lamps over them of gold: and golden snuffers,
49 E os castiçais, cinco à direita e cinco à esquerda, diante do oráculo, de ouro finíssimo; e as flores, e as lâmpadas, e os espevitadores, também de ouro.
50 And pots, and fleshhooks, and bowls, and mortars, and censers, of most pure gold: and the hinges for the doors of the inner house of the holy of holies, and for the doors of the house of the temple were of gold.
50 Como também os vasos, e os apagadores, e as bacias, e as colheres, e os perfumadores, de ouro finíssimo; e as dobradiças para as portas da casa interior para o lugar santíssimo, e as das portas da casa do templo, também de ouro.
51 And Solomon finished all the work that he made in the house of the Lord, and brought in the things that David his father had dedicated, the silver and the gold, and the vessels, and laid them up in the treasures of the house of the Lord.
51 Assim se acabou toda a obra que fez o rei Salomão para a casa do Senhor; então trouxe Salomão as coisas que seu pai Davi havia consagrado; a prata, e o ouro, e os objetos pôs entre os tesouros da casa do Senhor.
