Romanos 7
Darby Bible (DARBY) vs AAI
1 Are ye ignorant, brethren, (for I speak to those knowing law,) that law rules over a man as long as he lives?
1 Taitu, abisa isan anao i kwa kwaso’ob, anayabin kwa etei’imak ofafar i kwaso’ob. Ofafar i orot babin yawasin ema’am ana veya i ebobonawiy.
2 For the married woman is bound by law to her husband so long as he is alive; but if the husband should die, she is clear from the law of the husband:
2 Itinin ta i boro iti na’atube kwana’itin, tautabin babin aawan yawasin ema’ama ana veya ofafaramaim eo’o, nati babin i boro orot biyanamaim nafatum nama. Baise orot namomorob ufunamaim babin i tabin ana ofafarane hirufam.
3 so then, the husband being alive, she shall be called an adulteress if she be to another man; but if the husband should die, she is free from the law, so as not to be an adulteress, though she be to another man.
3 Isan imih babin aawan yawasin ema’am ana veya i orot ta nabi’awan, nati babin i moser kwebayan. Baise orot emomorob ana veya, nati babin i ofafarane tit. Naatu orot ta nabi’awan na’at i men moser kwebayan.
4 So that, my brethren, *ye* also have been made dead to the law by the body of the Christ, to be to another, who has been raised up from among {the} dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God.
4 Imih taitu tuwai’inah, ef ta’imon nati na’atube Keriso ana morobomaim baitumatumayah ofafar ana fairane rufamih hitit. Imih i ana misir maiye’emaim baita’ay boubun ana ef imatar, naatu boun morobone God biyawas maiye i nowan kwamatar, saise it bowayah gewasih na’atube God isan tanabow.
5 For when we were in the flesh the passions of sins, which {were} by the law, wrought in our members to bring forth fruit to death;
5 Anayabin it taiyuwit biyat ana kok isan tanotanot ana veya, ofafar run biyat ana kok kakafin kura’ara’ah naatu biyat tutufin etei bonawiy in morobomaim yai.
6 but now we are clear from the law, having died in that in which we were held, so that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in oldness of letter.
6 Baise boun, it nati ofafar fatumit tamorob ta’inu’in, God nati fatufatumane rufamit tatit. Anun Kakafiyin ana ef boubunamaim tabowabow, men ef atamanin ana ofafar hikirum inu’in tai’ufunun tabowabowamih.
7 What shall we say then? {is} the law sin? Far be the thought. But I had not known sin, unless by law: for I had not had conscience also of lust unless the law had said, Thou shalt not lust;
7 Imih ofafar i bowabow kakafin sinafuyan tanarouw tanao? En anababatun! Baise ofafar en na’at ayu au kakafih boro mi’itube ataso’ob. Anayabin ofafar men tama’am na’at ayu boro mi’itube bahiy isan hiofafar ataso’ob.
8 but sin, getting a point of attack by the commandment, wrought in me every lust; for without law sin {was} dead.
8 Baise bowabow kakafin nati ofafaramaim ana ef tita’ur run ayu wanawana’umaim kura’ara’ah sawar kakafih asisinaf. Ofafar men tama’am na’at, bowabow kakafin i boro ana fair men tama.
9 But *I* was alive without law once; but the commandment having come, sin revived, but *I* died.
9 Marasika ayu ofafar men asoso’ob ana veya ayu i yawasu ama, baise obaiyunen tur tit anonowar ana veya bowabow kakafin yawas naatu ayu amorob.
10 And the commandment, which {was} for life, was found, {as} to me, itself {to be} unto death:
10 Obaiyunen tur nati yawas bai na hirouw hio atitita’ur i morob bai na.
11 for sin, getting a point of attack by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew {me}.
11 Anayabin bowabow kakafin, iti obaiyunen turamaim ana ef bai ayu ifuwu naatu easbunu.
12 So that the law indeed {is} holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
12 Isan imih ofafar i kakafiyin, naatu obaiyunen tur i kakafiyin, mutufurin naatu gewasin.
13 Did then that which is good become death to me? Far be the thought. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death to me by that which is good; in order that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but *I* am fleshly, sold under sin.
14 It taso’ob ofafar i ayubit isan; baise ayu i orot maiyow, bowabow kakafin ana akir wairafinamih tubunu.
15 For that which I do, I do not own: for not what I will, this I do; but what I hate, this I practise.
15 Abisa asisinaf hai yabih men asoso’ob, anayabin abisa sinafumih akokok i men asisinaf, baise abisa abifutuw i asisinaf.
16 But if what I do not will, this I practise, I consent to the law that {it is} right.
16 Naatu baise, abisa asisinaf i abisa men akokok i asisinaf nati i ayu abibasit ofafar i gewasin.
17 Now then {it is} no longer *I* {that} do it, but the sin that dwells in me.
17 Imih nati i men ayu asisinafumih, baise bowabow kakafin iti wanawana’umaim ema’am i esisinaf.
18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, good does not dwell: for to will is there with me, but to do right {I find} not.
18 Ayu so’ob wanawana’umaim i men gewasin ta ema’am, nati i ayu biyau naniyan kakafin. Anayabin ayu au kok gagamin i mi’itube gewasin ata sinaf, baise sinaf isan men karam boro anasinaf.
19 For I do not practise the good that I will; but the evil I do not will, that I do.
19 Anayabin abisa gewasin sinafumih anotanot i men asisinafumih. Baise kakafih men akokok sinaf nati i ama asisinaf.
20 But if what *I* do not will, this I practise, {it is} no longer *I* {that} do it, but the sin that dwells in me.
20 Naatu ayu sawar abisa men akokok i asisinaf, nati i men ayu asisinaf, baise bowabow kakafin wanawana’umaim ema’am i esisinaf.
21 I find then the law upon *me* who will to practise what is right, that with *me* evil is there.
21 Isan imih iti ofafar ana ef mi’itube ebowabow i atita’ur. Ayu bowabow gewasin sinafumih anotanot ana veya, bowabow kakafin i mar etei etitit.
22 For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man:
22 Ayu wanawanau i ebiyasisir gagamin maiyow God ana ofafar isan.
23 but I see another law in my members, warring in opposition to the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which exists in my members.
23 Baise ayu biyau wanawanan efan tata’ane ofafar ta ayu au not ana ofafar hairi hibiyow atatam. Nati baiyowamaim iwa’an ayu buwu bowabow kakafin ana ofafar wanawan dibur yariyu.
24 O wretched man that I {am}! who shall deliver me out of this body of death?
24 Ayu i yababan orot! Yait boro iti biyau murubinane niyawas nabotait.
25 I thank God, through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then *I* *myself* with the mind serve God's law; but with the flesh sin's law.
25 God ana merar ayiy Jesu Keriso’one ayu boro niyawasu. Imih ayu au not i boro God ana ofafar isan ni’akir nabow, baise ayu biyau i bowabow kakafin ana ofafar isan ni’akir nabow.
