Darby Bible (DARBY) vs ARA
1 Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and that dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! When thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; when thou shalt make an end of dealing treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
1 Ai de ti, destruidor que não foste destruído, que procedes perfidamente e não foste tratado com perfídia! Acabando tu de destruir, serás destruído, acabando de tratar perfidamente, serás tratado com perfídia.
2 Jehovah, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be their arm every morning, yea, our salvation in the time of trouble.
2 Senhor , tem misericórdia de nós; em ti temos esperado; sê tu o nosso braço manhã após manhã e a nossa salvação no tempo da angústia.
3 At the noise of the tumult the peoples fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.
3 Ao ruído do tumulto, fogem os povos; quando tu te ergues, as nações são dispersas.
4 And your spoil shall be gathered {like} the gathering of the caterpillar: as the running of locusts shall they run upon it.
4 Então, ajuntar-se-á o vosso despojo como se ajuntam as lagartas; como os gafanhotos saltam, assim os homens saltarão sobre ele.
5 Jehovah is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with justice and righteousness;
5 O Senhor é sublime, pois habita nas alturas; encheu a Sião de direito e de justiça.
6 and he shall be the stability of thy times, the riches of salvation, wisdom and knowledge: the fear of Jehovah shall be your treasure.
6 Haverá, ó Sião, estabilidade nos teus tempos, abundância de salvação, sabedoria e conhecimento; o temor do Senhor será o teu tesouro.
7 Behold, their valiant ones cry without; the messengers of peace weep bitterly.
7 Eis que os heróis pranteiam de fora, e os mensageiros de paz estão chorando amargamente.
8 The highways are desolate, the wayfaring man ceaseth. He hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.
8 As estradas estão desoladas, cessam os que passam por elas; rompem-se as alianças, as cidades são desprezadas, já não se faz caso do homem.
9 The land mourneth, it languisheth; Lebanon is ashamed, is withered; the Sharon is become as a desert, and Bashan and Carmel are stripped.
9 A terra geme e desfalece; o Líbano se envergonha e se murcha; Sarom se torna como um deserto, Basã e Carmelo são despidos de suas folhas.
10 Now will I arise, saith Jehovah; now will I be exalted, now will I lift up myself.
10 Agora, me levantarei, diz o Senhor ; levantar-me-ei a mim mesmo; agora, serei exaltado.
11 Ye shall conceive dry grass, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath shall devour you {as} fire.
11 Concebestes palha, dareis à luz restolho; o vosso bufo enfurecido é fogo que vos há de devorar.
12 And the peoples shall be {as} burnings of lime, {as} thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.
12 Os povos serão queimados como se queima a cal; como espinhos cortados, arderão no fogo.
13 Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and ye that are near, acknowledge my might.
13 Ouvi vós, os que estais longe, o que tenho feito; e vós, os que estais perto, reconhecei o meu poder.
14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling hath surprised the hypocrites: Who among us shall dwell with the consuming fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting flames?
14 Os pecadores em Sião se assombram, o tremor se apodera dos ímpios; e eles perguntam: Quem dentre nós habitará com o fogo devorador? Quem dentre nós habitará com chamas eternas?
15 -He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from taking hold of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil:
15 O que anda em justiça e fala o que é reto; o que despreza o ganho de opressão; o que, com um gesto de mãos, recusa aceitar suborno; o que tapa os ouvidos, para não ouvir falar de homicídios, e fecha os olhos, para não ver o mal,
16 he shall dwell on high, the fortresses of the rocks shall be his high retreat; bread shall be given him, his water shall be sure.
16 este habitará nas alturas; as fortalezas das rochas serão o seu alto refúgio, o seu pão lhe será dado, as suas águas serão certas.
17 Thine eyes shall see the King in his beauty; they shall behold the land that is far off.
17 Os teus olhos verão o rei na sua formosura, verão a terra que se estende até longe.
18 Thy heart shall meditate on terror: Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?
18 O teu coração se recordará dos terrores, dizendo: Onde está aquele que registrou, onde, o que pesou o tributo, onde, o que contou as torres?
19 Thou shalt no more see the fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst comprehend, of a stammering tongue that cannot be understood.
19 Já não verás aquele povo atrevido, povo de fala obscura, que não se pode entender, e de língua bárbara, ininteligível.
20 Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tent that shall not be removed, the stakes whereof shall never be pulled up, neither shall any of its cords be broken;
20 Olha para Sião, a cidade das nossas solenidades; os teus olhos verão a Jerusalém, habitação tranquila, tenda que não será removida, cujas estacas nunca serão arrancadas, nem rebentada nenhuma de suas cordas.
21 but there Jehovah is unto us glorious, -a place of rivers, of broad streams: no galley with oars shall go there, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.
21 Mas o Senhor ali nos será grandioso, fará as vezes de rios e correntes largas; barco nenhum de remo passará por eles, navio grande por eles não navegará.
22 For Jehovah is our judge, Jehovah, our lawgiver, Jehovah, our king: he will save us.
22 Porque o Senhor é o nosso juiz, o Senhor é o nosso legislador, o Senhor é o nosso Rei; ele nos salvará.
23 Thy tacklings are loosed; they strengthen not the socket of their mast, they cannot spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.
23 Agora, as tuas enxárcias estão frouxas; não podem ter firme o mastro, nem estender a vela. Então, se repartirá a presa de abundantes despojos; até os coxos participarão dela.
24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven {their} iniquity.
24 Nenhum morador de Jerusalém dirá: Estou doente; porque ao povo que habita nela, perdoar-se-lhe-á a sua iniquidade.
