1 And he brought me to the temple; and he measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, the breadth of the tent.
1 Depois o homem me levou ao santuário externo e mediu os batentes; a largura dos batentes era de três metros em cada lado.
2 And the breadth of the entry was ten cubits, and the sides of the entry were five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side; and he measured its length, forty cubits, and the breadth, twenty cubits.
2 A entrada tinha cinco metros de largura, e as paredes salientes em cada lado tinham dois metros e meio de largura. Ele mediu também o santuário externo; e ele tinha vinte metros de comprimento e dez metros de largura.
3 And he went inwards, and measured the post of the entry, two cubits; and the entry, six cubits; and the breadth of the entry, seven cubits.
3 Depois entrou no santuário interno e mediu os batentes da entrada; cada um tinha um metro de largura. A entrada tinha três metros de largura, e as paredes salientes em cada lado dela tinham três metros e meio de largura.
4 And he measured its length, twenty cubits; and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said unto me, This is the most holy {place}.
4 E ele mediu o comprimento do santuário interno; tinha dez metros, e sua largura era de dez metros até o fim do santuário externo. Ele me disse: "Este é o Lugar Santíssimo".
5 And he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of the side-chambers, four cubits, round about the house on every side.
5 Depois mediu a parede do templo; tinha três metros de espessura, e cada quarto lateral em torno do templo tinha dois metros de largura.
6 And the side-chambers were three, chamber over chamber, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which the house had for the side-chambers round about, that they might have hold; but they had not hold in the wall of the house.
6 Os quartos laterais, sobrepostos uns aos outros, ficavam em três andares, havendo trinta em cada andar. Havia saliências em torno de toda a parede do templo para servirem de pontos de apoio para os quartos laterais, para que não fossem incrustados na parede do templo.
7 And for the side-chambers there was an enlarging, and it went round about {the house} increasing upward; for the surrounding of the house increased upward round about the house; therefore the house had width upward, and so ascended {from} the lower {story} to the upper, by the middle one.
7 As paredes laterais em torno de todo o templo eram mais largas em cada andar superior. A estrutura em torno do templo foi construída em plataformas ascendentes, de modo que os quartos ficavam mais largos à medida que se subia. Uma escada subia do andar inferior até o andar superior, servindo também o andar do meio.
8 And I saw that the house had an elevation round about: the foundations of the side-chambers, a full reed, six cubits to the joint.
8 Vi que ao redor de todo o templo fora construída uma base, formando o alicerce dos quartos laterais. Era do comprimento da vara de medir, ou seja, três metros.
9 The thickness of the wall, which was for the side-chambers without, was five cubits, as also what was left free along the building of the side-chambers that pertained to the house.
9 A parede externa dos quartos laterais era de dois metros e meio de espessura. A área aberta entre os quartos laterais do templo
10 And between the cells {and the house} was a width of twenty cubits round about the house on every side.
10 e os quartos dos sacerdotes era de dez metros de largura ao redor de todo o templo.
11 And the entry of the side-chambers was toward what was left free, one entry toward the north, and one entry toward the south; and the width of the space left free was five cubits round about.
11 Havia entradas para os quartos laterais a partir da área aberta, uma ao norte e outra ao sul; e a base vizinha à área aberta era de dois metros e meio ao redor de todo o templo.
12 And the building that was before the separate place at the end toward the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick round about; and its length ninety cubits.
12 O prédio que ficara em frente do pátio do templo no lado oeste media trinta e cinco metros de largura. A parede do prédio tinha dois metros e meio de espessura em toda a sua volta, e o seu comprimento era de quarenta e cinco metros.
13 And he measured the house: the length a hundred cubits; and the separate place, and the building, and its walls, the length a hundred cubits;
13 Depois ele mediu o templo; e ele tinha cinqüenta metros de comprimento, e o pátio do templo e o prédio com suas paredes também tinham cinqüenta metros de comprimento.
14 and the breadth of the front of the house, and of the separate places toward the east, a hundred cubits.
14 A largura do pátio do templo no lado oeste, inclusive a frente do templo, era de cinqüenta metros.
15 And he measured the length of the building before the separate place, which was at the back of it, with its galleries on the one side and on the other side, a hundred cubits; and the inner temple, and the porches of the court.
15 A seguir ele mediu o comprimento do prédio que ficava em frente do pátio, na parte de trás do templo, inclusive suas galerias em cada lado; era de cinqüenta metros. O santuário externo, o santuário interno e o pórtico que dava para o pátio,
16 The thresholds, and the closed windows, and the galleries round about the three of them (opposite the thresholds it was wainscoted with wood round about, and from the ground up to the windows, and the windows were covered),
16 bem como as soleiras, as janelas estreitas e as galerias em volta dos três, tudo o que estava do lado de fora, inclusive a soleira, fora revestido de madeira. O piso, a parede até a altura das janelas, e as janelas estavam revestidas.
17 {and} above, over the entry, even unto the inner house, and without, and by all the wall round about, within and without, {all was} by measure.
17 No espaço acima do lado exterior da entrada do santuário interno e nas paredes, a intervalos regulares, em volta de todo o santuário interior e exterior,
18 And it was made with cherubim and palm-trees, and a palm-tree was between cherub and cherub; and the cherub had two faces:
18 havia querubins e tamareiras em relevo. As tamareiras alternavam com os querubins. Cada querubim tinha dois rostos:
19 the face of a man was toward the palm-tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm-tree on the other side: {so} was it made upon all the house round about.
19 o rosto de um homem virado para a tamareira de um dos lados, e o rosto de um leão virado para a tamareira do outro lado. Estavam em relevo ao redor do templo inteiro.
20 From the ground unto above the entry were the cherubim and the palm-trees made, and {on} the wall of the temple.
20 Desde o chão até a área acima da entrada, havia querubins e tamareiras em relevo na parede do santuário exterior.
21 As for the temple, the door-posts were squared; and the front of the sanctuary had the same appearance.
21 O santuário exterior tinha batentes retangulares, e o que ficava em frente do Lugar Santíssimo era semelhante.
22 The altar was of wood, three cubits high, and its length two cubits; and its corners, and its length, and its walls were of wood. And he said unto me, This is the table which is before Jehovah.
22 Havia um altar de madeira com um metro e meio de altura e um metro em cada lado; seus cantos, sua base e seus lados eram de madeira. O homem me disse: "Esta é a mesa que fica diante do Senhor".
23 And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors.
23 Tanto o santuário externo quanto o Lugar Santíssimo tinham portas duplas.
24 And the doors had two leaves, two turning-leaves: two for the one door, and two leaves for the other.
24 Cada porta tinha duas folhas; duas folhas articuladas para cada porta.
25 And there were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubim and palm-trees, as there were made upon the walls; and there was a wooden portal in front of the porch without,
25 E nas portas do santuário externo havia querubins e tamareiras esculpidos em relevo, como os que havia nas paredes, e havia também uma saliência de madeira na frente do pórtico.
26 and closed windows and palm-trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch and the side chambers of the house and the portals.
26 Nas paredes laterais do pórtico havia janelas estreitas com tamareiras em relevo em cada lado. Os quartos laterais do templo também tinham saliências.
