2 Ye know that after two days the passover takes place, and the Son of man is delivered up to be crucified.

3 Then the chief priests and the elders of the people were gathered together to the palace of the high priest who was called Caiaphas,

4 and took counsel together in order that they might seize Jesus by subtlety and kill him;

5 but they said, Not in the feast, that there be not a tumult among the people.

7 a woman, having an alabaster flask of very precious ointment, came to him and poured it out upon his head as he lay at table.

8 But the disciples seeing it became indignant, saying, To what end {was} this waste?

9 for this might have been sold for much and been given to the poor.
10 Jesús né³ ca³náɨ³² jáɨ¹³ jáun², hi³ jáun² ca³juáh³:
10 But Jesus knowing {it} said to them, Why do ye trouble the woman? for she has wrought a good work toward me.
11 Quí¹ la³jɨ́³² jmáɨ¹ bíh¹ zian² tsá² tia³mii² ja¹ quián¹³ hnoh², tɨ³la³ jná¹³ né³, jun³juáh¹³ jmáɨ¹ ca³la³ jɨ́³² yáh³ cuon¹ jná¹³ ja¹ quián¹³ hnoh².
11 For ye have the poor always with you, but me ye have not always.
12 Hi³ jáun² la³ cun³ hi³ má²lɨ́²jmú³ tsá²mɨ³ lá² ñí¹con² jná¹³, hi³ má²lɨ́²sé³² tsú² jná¹³ no¹ má²ró³², má²lɨ́²jmú³ tsú² hua³jan²¹ hi³ ca³tɨ²¹ jmáɨ¹ hi³ tsa³haun³ bíh¹ jná¹³.
12 For in pouring out this ointment on my body, she has done it for my burying.

13 Verily I say to you, Wheresoever these glad tidings may be preached in the whole world, that also which this {woman} has done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.

15 and said, What are ye willing to give me, and *I* will deliver him up to you? And they appointed to him thirty pieces of silver.

16 And from that time he sought a good opportunity that he might deliver him up.
17 Jmɨ́¹ cá¹chó²¹ jmáɨ¹ hi³ cua³hlau³ Jmɨ́¹hɨ́en¹, jmáɨ¹ hi³ cúh² tsá² *judíos *hí³ cuú²miih²¹, la³ cun³ hí¹miih²¹ tiá² tie³ jan² yáh³, jáun² tsá² haɨn²¹ hí³ tɨ³ con² Jesús ca³ja³janh³² hi³ ca³ngáɨ³, hi³ juáh³ la³ lá²:

18 And he said, Go into the city unto such a one, and say to him, The Teacher says, My time is near, I will keep the passover in thy house with my disciples.

19 And the disciples did as Jesus had directed them, and they prepared the passover.
20 Jmɨ́¹ má²ca³zɨ³² jáun² né³ ca³cuá³ Jesús ñí¹ mesa quionh³ tán¹ quian³tun³ tsá² haɨn²¹ hí³ tɨ³ con²;
20 And when the evening was come he lay down at table with the twelve.
21 hi³ tá¹la³ ná¹jmu² tsú² jáun² má³² né³, ca³juáh³ dí² la³ lá²:
21 And as they were eating he said, Verily I say to you, that one of you shall deliver me up.
22 Jmɨ́¹jáun² jlánh¹ hlaɨh³ ca³niau²¹ tsɨ́³ tsá² hí³, hi³ jáun² ca³ma³liáu³² tsú² hi³ ca³ngáɨh³ Jesús ma³ quin³² ma³ jan³², hi³ juáh³:
22 And being exceedingly grieved they began to say to him, each of them, Is it *I*, Lord?
23 Hi³ jáun² Jesús ca³juáh³:
23 But he answering said, He that dips his hand with me in the dish, *he* it is who shall deliver me up.
24 Quí¹ jná¹³ Jon² tsá²mɨ³cuóun², cuá¹tsau³² bíh¹ hná¹ he² juɨ³² hi³ ca³tɨn¹, la³ cun³ hi³ rá¹juáh³ ñí¹ Sí² quioh²¹ Dió³²; tɨ³la³ ¡juo²³ bíh¹ tsá²ñuh² tsá² jɨenh³ jná¹³! Tɨ³ jlánh¹ bíh¹ jmɨ́¹ re² quioh²¹ tsá² hí³ sá¹jmɨ́¹ hi³ cu³tsa³² tiá² ca³lɨ³zian² bíh¹ tsú² cú²jueh³² dúh¹.
24 The Son of man goes indeed, according as it is written concerning him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is delivered up; it were good for that man if he had not been born.
25 Jmɨ́¹jáun² ca³hléh³ Judas tsá² jɨenh³ hí³ Jesús, hi³ ca³juáh³:
25 And Judas, who delivered him up, answering said, Is it *I*, Rabbi? He says to him, *Thou* hast said.
26 Tá¹la³ ná¹cúh² tsú² jáun² né³, Jesús ca³can³ hí³ cuú²miih²¹, hi³ jáun² ca³cuéh³ tiá¹hmah¹ Dió³²; jmɨ́¹ lɨ²¹ jáun² ca³ca³ dí², hi³ jáun² ca³tsóh³ dí² ñí¹con² tsá² haɨn²¹ hí³ tɨ³ con², hi³ ca³juáh³ la³ lá²:

27 Jmɨ́¹ lɨ²¹ jáun² ca³can³ dí² siáh³ cáun² copa, hi³ jáun² ca³cuéh³ tiá¹hmah¹ Dió³²; jmɨ́¹ lɨ²¹ jáun² né³ ca³nga³ dí² siáh³ ñí¹ tionh¹ tsá² hí³, hi³ ca³juáh³ la³ lá²:
27 And having taken {the} cup and given thanks, he gave {it} to them, saying, Drink ye all of it.
28 quí¹ hi³ nɨ́² bíh¹ jmɨ́²hán¹ jná¹³ hi³ táɨn³² cun³ñí¹ hi³ ca³tɨn¹ juóun³² tsáu², hi³ jáun² lɨ́¹³ hin³ tso³ quioh²¹ tsú²; la³ jáun² bíh¹ lɨ³ lin¹ hi³ má²quien² cáun² nió³² hmaɨ²¹.
28 For this is my blood, that of the {new} covenant, that shed for many for remission of sins.
29 Jú¹ tson² juanh³² jná¹³ ñí¹con² hnoh², hi³ tiú²uú² aɨh²¹ yáh³ jná¹³ mu² ráu³ mɨ³ uóun²jɨeh¹³ lá², ca³la³ tɨ³ nɨ́¹ má¹cá²chó³² jmáɨ¹ hi³ aɨh²¹ jná¹³ mu² ráu³ lin¹³ cu³lɨ²¹ quiúnh¹ hnoh² máh³ jmáɨ¹ hi³ má²cuá¹ho² jná¹³ jáɨ¹³ cun³quionh³ héih³² quioh²¹ Ñuh³².
29 But I say to you, that I will not at all drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in the kingdom of my Father.
30 Jmɨ́¹ lɨ²¹ jáun² né³ ca³hɨ́e³ tsú² cáun² sun¹ quioh²¹ Dió³², hi³ jáun² jmɨ́¹ lɨ²¹ jáun² ja³taunh²¹ tɨ³ máh³ Olivos.
30 Depois do canto dos Salmos, dirigiram-se eles para o monte das Oliveiras.

31 Disse-lhes então Jesus: Esta noite serei para todos vós uma ocasião de queda; porque está escrito: Ferirei o pastor, e as ovelhas do rebanho serão dispersadas {Zc 13,7}.

32 Mas, depois da minha Ressurreição, eu vos precederei na Galiléia.

34 Disse-lhe Jesus: Em verdade te digo: nesta noite mesma, antes que o galo cante, três vezes me negarás.

35 Respondeu-lhe Pedro: Mesmo que seja necessário morrer contigo, jamais te negarei! E todos os outros discípulos diziam-lhe o mesmo.

36 Retirou-se Jesus com eles para um lugar chamado Getsêmani e disse-lhes: Assentai-vos aqui, enquanto eu vou ali orar.

37 E, tomando consigo Pedro e os dois filhos de Zebedeu, começou a entristecer-se e a angustiar-se.

38 Disse-lhes, então: Minha alma está triste até a morte. Ficai aqui e vigiai comigo.

39 Adiantou-se um pouco e, prostrando-se com a face por terra, assim rezou: Meu Pai, se é possível, afasta de mim este cálice! Todavia não se faça o que eu quero, mas sim o que tu queres.
40 Jmɨ́¹ lɨ²¹ jáun² ngah³ dí² tɨ³ ñí¹ tionh¹ jáun² tsá² gáun³ haɨn²¹ hí³ tɨ³ con², jáun² sa³ ná¹cuóun¹ bíh¹ tsá² hí³ jmɨ́¹ cá¹chánh²¹ dí² jáun²; jáun² ca³záɨh³ dí² Pé¹:
40 Foi ter então com os discípulos e os encontrou dormindo. E disse a Pedro: Então não pudestes vigiar uma hora comigo...
41 Tianh³ náh² ná¹ñí¹ hi³ lienh¹ náh² siáh³ Dió³², hi³ jáun² tiá² lɨ́¹³ tánh³² náh² tso³. Quí¹ hua³jan²¹ lɨ́n²¹ bíh¹ hún¹ jmɨ́²chí³ quián¹³ náh², tɨ³la³ ngú³ quián¹³ bí¹ náh² jlánh¹ tiá² pin³.
41 Vigiai e orai para que não entreis em tentação. O espírito está pronto, mas a carne é fraca.
42 Jáun² ngau³ siáh³ tsú² ca³tɨ́³ tenh³ hi³ ca³ñí¹lienh¹³ Dió³² la³ lá²:
42 Afastou-se pela segunda vez e orou, dizendo: Meu Pai, se não é possível que este cálice passe sem que eu o beba, faça-se a tua vontade!
43 Jáun² cuanh³ tsú² siáh³, sa³ siáh³ bíh¹ siáh³ má²ná¹cuóun¹ tsá² hí³ jmɨ́¹ cuanh²¹ dí², quí¹ cun³ñí¹ hi³hliá² jlánh¹ má²tioh³ ziú³ ñí¹ tsú².
43 Voltou ainda e os encontrou novamente dormindo, porque seus olhos estavam pesados.
44 Jáun² ca³chan³ tsú² tsá² hí³ hi³ ngau³ siáh³ ñí¹ má²hnaɨh³² jéin³² hi³ ca³ñí¹lienh¹³ Dió³² hi³ ñí¹ zeh¹ dí² la³ cun³ hi³ má²lɨ́²zéih³² dí² jmɨ́¹tin².
44 Deixou-os e foi orar pela terceira vez, dizendo as mesmas palavras.
45 Jmɨ́¹ lɨ²¹ jáun² né³, ngah³ dí² siáh³ ñí¹ tionh¹ tsá² haɨn²¹ hí³ tɨ³ con²; hi³ jáun² ca³záɨh³ dí² siáh³ la³ lá²:
45 Voltou então para os seus discípulos e disse-lhes: Dormi agora e repousai! Chegou a hora: o Filho do Homem vai ser entregue nas mãos dos pecadores...
46 Nú¹ tianh³ náh², ma³tsáu¹³; quí¹ nɨ́² bíh¹ má²cuá¹ja³² tsá² jɨenh³ jná¹³.
46 Levantai-vos, vamos! Aquele que me trai está perto daqui.
47 Tá¹la³ jmɨ́¹ dí¹hleh³² jáun² bíh¹ Jesús cuan³ Judas, jan² tsá² jmɨ́¹ lɨ́n³ tsá² quian³tun³ joh¹ tsú², hi³ má²hí¹quionh³ tsú² juóun³² lɨ́n³² tsá² ná¹quian³² mí¹táɨ³ hmu³ tá¹ tun³ jo²¹ jɨ³ tsá² ná¹quian³² hmá² nɨ́² siáh³. Tsá² zéi¹ tsá² ná¹lɨ́n³ mi³jmú³ jɨ³ tsá²daun³² tsá² ná¹ñí¹ juú².
47 Jesus ainda falava, quando veio Judas, um dos Doze, e com ele uma multidão de gente armada de espadas e cacetes, enviada pelos príncipes dos sacerdotes e pelos anciãos do povo.
48 Judas tsá² ca³jɨenh³ hí³ bíh¹ Jesús ca³jmú³ jáɨ¹³ ha³ lánh³ rón³² hɨen³ dí² Jesús, hi³ ca³juáh³ la³ lá²: “Nɨ́¹juáh³ tsá² ca³hen³ jná¹³ ñí¹, tsá² hí³ bíh¹ jan¹³ náh² tson³”.
48 O traidor combinara com eles este sinal: Aquele que eu beijar, é ele. Prendei-o!
49 Jmɨ́¹jáun² ca³ja³janh³² tsú² ñí¹con² Jesús hi³ ca³juáh³:
49 Aproximou-se imediatamente de Jesus e disse: Salve, Mestre. E beijou-o.

50 Disse-lhe Jesus: É, então, para isso que vens aqui? Em seguida, adiantaram-se eles e lançaram mão em Jesus para prendê-lo.

51 Mas um dos companheiros de Jesus desembainhou a espada e feriu um servo do sumo sacerdote, decepando-lhe a orelha.
52 Jáun² Jesús ca³záɨh³ tsá² hí³ la³ lá²:
52 Jesus, no entanto, lhe disse: Embainha tua espada, porque todos aqueles que usarem da espada, pela espada morrerão.

53 Crês tu que não posso invocar meu Pai e ele não me enviaria imediatamente mais de doze legiões de anjos?
54 Tɨ³la³ sá¹jmɨ́¹ la³ jáun² né³, jáun² tiú²uú² jmɨ́¹ zia³² yáh³ ha³ lánh³ rón³² lɨ³tí³ la³ cun³ hi³ rá¹juáh³ ñí¹ Sí² quioh²¹ Dió³² ñí¹ rá¹juáh³ jáun² hi³ ca³tɨ²¹ lɨ́¹³ la³ lá².
54 Mas como se cumpririam então as Escrituras, segundo as quais é preciso que seja assim?
55 Jmɨ́¹jáun² ca³záɨh³ Jesús tsá² cuá²taunh²¹ hí³ la³ lá²:
55 Depois, voltando-se para a turba, falou: Saístes armados de espadas e porretes para prender-me, como se eu fosse um malfeitor. Entretanto, todos os dias estava eu sentado entre vós ensinando no templo e não me prendestes.
56 Tɨ³la³ la³jɨ́³² hi³ nɨ́² má²ná¹lɨ́²³ hi³ jáun² lɨ́¹³ lɨ³tí³ la³ cun³ hi³ rá¹juáh³ jáun² ñí¹ Sí² bíh¹, hi³ ca³jmú³ jáun² tsá² ca³lɨn³ hí³ *tɨ³² jë¹ Dió³² jmɨ́¹tin².
56 Mas tudo isto aconteceu porque era necessário que se cumprissem os oráculos dos profetas. Então os discípulos o abandonaram e fugiram.
57 Hi³ jáun² né³, tsá² ca³zanh³ hí³ Jesús hi³ tson³ ca³ñí¹jan² Jesús ta³ ñí¹ Caifás tsá² cuá¹lɨ́n³ mí²tsá² hɨ́en¹; ñí¹ jáun² jmɨ́¹ má²ná¹ngɨh³² tɨ³² liei²¹ jɨ³ tsá²daun³² tsá² ná¹ñí¹ juú².
57 Os que haviam prendido Jesus levaram-no à casa do sumo sacerdote Caifás, onde estavam reunidos os escribas e os anciãos do povo.
58 Tɨ³la³ Pé¹ né³, uóunh³ chí¹cáɨn² bíh¹ ngau³ cu³hna²¹ dí² ca³la³ ñí¹ cá¹chó²¹ ñéih³ ñí¹ lɨ́¹ hó²¹ hñú¹³ mí²tsá² hɨ́en¹; ñí¹ jáun² hi³, hi³ ca³cuá³ quionh³ tsá²cuú² tsá²ta³ mí²tsáu² hi³ jáun² lɨ́¹³ jɨ́e³ nɨ́¹juáh³ he³ lɨ́¹³.
58 Pedro seguia-o de longe, até o pátio do sumo sacerdote. Entrou e sentou-se junto aos criados para ver como terminaria aquilo.
59 Hi³ jáun² tsá² ná¹lɨ́n³ mi³jmú³ quionh³ la³jɨ́n³² tsá² ná¹ñí¹ jmɨ́¹ hnauh² he³ lánh³ rón³² lɨ́¹³ ma³tson² dí² tsáu¹³ Jesús, uá¹jinh¹ cun³quionh³ jú¹ tɨ́¹jáɨ², hi³ jáun² lɨ́¹³ jngɨh³ dí²;
59 Enquanto isso, os príncipes dos sacerdotes e todo o conselho procuravam um falso testemunho contra Jesus, a fim de o levarem à morte.
60 tɨ³la³ tiá² ca³choh¹³ yáh³ tsú², uá¹jinh¹ juóun³² tsá² ca³chá³ jú¹ tɨ́¹jáɨ² hi³ ca³tɨn¹ tsú². Ñí¹ ca³táuh³ né³ ca³ma³jnia³² gon³ tsá² ca³ma³tson² jú¹ tɨ́¹jáɨ²,
60 Mas não o conseguiram, embora se apresentassem muitas falsas testemunhas.
61 tsá² hí³ né³ ca³juáh³ la³ lá²:
61 Por fim, apresentaram-se duas testemunhas, que disseram: Este homem disse: Posso destruir o templo de Deus e reedificá-lo em três dias.

63 Jesus, no entanto, permanecia calado. Disse-lhe o sumo sacerdote: Por Deus vivo, conjuro-te que nos digas se és o Cristo, o Filho de Deus?
