1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᎤᏤᎵᎪᎯ ᎾᏍᎩᏯᏉ ᎩᎶ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏧᏛᏅᎢᏍᏔᏁ ᏣᎦᏨᏍᏙᏗᏱ ᎤᏪᏥ ᎠᏫᏅ,
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 ᎠᎴ ᏥᏚᏅᏎ ᏧᏅᏏᏓᏍᏗ ᏧᏂᏯᏅᎲᏍᏗᏱ ᏫᎨᏥᏯᏅᏛ ᏕᎨᎦᏨᏍᏗᏍᎬ ᎤᏂᎷᎯᏍᏗᏱ; ᎠᏎᏃ ᏗᎤᏂᏳᎸᏁᏉ ᏅᏓᏳᏁᏅᏍᏗᏱ.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 ᏔᎵᏁᏃ ᏅᏩᎾᏓᎴ ᏧᏅᏏᏓᏍᏗ ᏚᏅᏎᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ; ᎯᎠ ᏫᏂᏗᏥᏪᏏ ᏫᎨᏥᏯᏅᏛ; ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎠᏆᏛᏅᎢᏍᏗ ᎠᎵᏍᏓᏴᏗ, ᏗᏆᏤᎵ ᏩᎦ ᎠᎴ ᏗᎦᎵᏦᏔᏅᎯ ᏚᏂᎸ, ᏂᎦᏗᏳᏃ ᎠᏛᏅᎢᏍᏔᏃᏅᎯ; ᏕᎨᎦᏨᏍᏗᏍᎬ ᎢᏥᎷᎩ.
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 ᎠᏎᏃ ᏅᎵᏌᎵᏉ ᏗᎤᏂᏰᎸᏁᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏣᏘᏂᏉ ᏭᏂᎶᏎᎢ, ᎠᏏᏴᏫ ᏧᎶᎨᏒᎢ, ᏐᎢᏃ ᎤᏃᏙᏗᏱ.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 ᎠᏂᏐᎢᏃ ᏚᏂᏂᏴᎮ ᏧᏅᏏᏓᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏗᎬᏩᏂᏐᏢᏔᏁᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᏂᎴᎢ.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎤᏛᎦᏅ ᎤᏔᎳᏬᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᏅᏎ ᏧᏤᎵ ᎠᏂᏯᏫᏍᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᏫᏚᏂᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᎾᏓᎸᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᏭᎾᎪᎲᏍᏔᏁ ᎤᏂᏚᎲᎢ.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴ ᏧᏅᏏᏓᏍᏗ; ᏗᎨᎦᏨᏍᏙᏗᏱ ᎠᏛᏅᎢᏍᏗ, ᎠᏎᏃ ᏫᎨᏥᏯᏅᏛ ᎥᏝ ᏰᎵ ᏱᎾᏃᏎ ᎤᏂᎷᎯᏍᏱ.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᏕᎦᏅᎿᎭᏩᏗᏒ ᏫᏥᎶᎯ, ᎾᏂᎥᏃ ᏕᏥᏩᏘᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᏕᏥᏁᏤᎮᏍᏗ ᎤᏂᎷᎯᏍᏗᏱ ᎠᏂ ᏙᏗᎨᎦᏨᏍᏔᏂᏒᎢ.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 ᎰᏩᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏅᏏᏓᏍᏗ ᏕᎦᏅᎿᎭᏩᏗᏒ ᏭᏂᎶᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏟᏌᏁ ᎾᏂᎥ ᏚᏂᏩᏛᎲ ᎤᏂᏲ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏃᏍᏛ; ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᏙᏗᎨᎦᏨᏍᏔᏂᏒ ᏰᎵ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏂᎴ ᎠᎾᎵᏍᏓᏴᎲᏍᎩ.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎤᏴᎸ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏚᎦᏔᏂᎸ ᎠᎾᎵᏍᏓᏴᎲᏍᎩ, ᎤᎪᎮ ᎾᎿᎭᎠᏏᏴᏫ ᏄᏄᏩᎥᎾ ᎨᏎ ᏕᎨᎦᏨᏍᏗᏍᎬ ᎠᏄᏬᏍᏗ.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ; ᎩᎾᎵᎢ, ᎦᏙᏃ ᎠᏂ ᎥᎯᏴᎵᎦ ᏂᏣᏄᏩᎥᎾ ᎢᎩ ᏕᎨᎦᏨᏍᏗᏍᎬ ᎠᏄᏬᏍᏗ? ᎡᎳᏪᏱᏉᏃ ᎨᏎᎢ.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴ ᎨᏥᏅᏏᏓᏍᏗ; ᎡᏣᎸᏣ ᏧᏬᏰᏂ ᎠᎴ ᏧᎳᏏᏕᏂ; ᎠᎴ ᎡᏥᎾᏫᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᎥᏙᏱᏗᏢ ᏧᎵᏏᎬ ᏪᏣᏓᎤᎦ. ᎾᎿᎭᏓᏂᏴᎨᏍᏗ ᎠᎴ ᏓᏂᎸᏓᎩᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᏓᏂᏄᏙᎬᎢ.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 ᎤᏂᏣᏘᏰᏃ ᎨᏥᏯᏅᏛ, ᎠᏎᏃ ᎠᏂᎩᏲᎵᏳ ᎨᎦᏑᏰᏛ.
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎠᏂᏆᎵᏏ ᎤᏁᏅᏒᎩ ᏭᏂᏃᎮᎸᎩ ᎢᏳᎾᏛᏁᏗᏱ ᎤᏂᏌᏛᏗᏱ ᎦᏬᏂᏍᎬᎢ.

16 ᏚᏂᏅᏒᎩᏃ ᏤᏙᎲ ᎬᏩᏂᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᎠᎴ ᎡᎶᏛ ᎬᏩᏍᏕᎵᏍᎩ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏒᎩ; ᏔᏕᏲᎲᏍᎩ, ᎣᏥᎦᏔᎭ ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎩᏯ ᎨᏒ ᏂᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ ᏚᏳᎪᏛ ᏕᎭᏕᏲᎲᏍᎬᎢ, ᎥᏝ ᎠᎴ ᏴᏫ ᏱᏘᎾᏰᏍᎦ, ᎥᏝᏰᏃ ᏄᎾᏍᏛᏉ ᏴᏫ ᏱᏘᎸᏉᏙᎢ.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᏍᎩᏃᎲᏏ, ᎦᏙ ᎮᎵᎭ? ᏥᏌ ᏚᏳᎪᏗ ᏏᏌ ᎠᎫᏴᎡᏗᏱ ᎠᏰᎵ ᎠᎫᏴᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ; ᏝᎨ?
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 ᎠᏎᏃ ᏥᏌ ᎤᏙᎴᎰᏒᎩ ᎤᏲᏉ ᎠᎾᏓᏅᏖᏍᎬᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎦᏙᏃ ᎢᏍᎩᏌᏛᎥᏍᎦ, ᎢᏣᏠᎾᏍᏗ?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 ᏥᎪᏩᏛ ᎠᏕᎸ ᎠᏰᎵ ᎠᎫᏴᏙᏗ. ᎠᎩᏏᏃ ᏧᎬᏩᎶᏗ ᎬᏩᏲᎮᎸᎩ.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᎭᎸᎩ; ᎦᎪ ᎯᎠ ᏓᎦᏟᎶᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᎦᎪ ᎠᏥᏃᎮᎭ ᎯᎠ ᏥᎪᏪᎳ?
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 ᏏᏌ, ᎤᎾᏛᏅᎩ. ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᏏᏌ ᎠᏗᎾ ᎡᏥᎲᏏ ᏏᏌ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ, ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯᏃ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ.
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 ᎤᎾᏛᎦᏅᏃ ᎤᏂᏍᏆᏂᎪᏒᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎾᏓᏅᎡᎸᎩ.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 ᎾᎯᏳ ᎢᎦ ᎠᏂᏌᏚᏏ ᏗᎴᎯᏐᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᎾᏜᏓᏏᏛᎡᎯ ᎬᏩᎷᏤᎸᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎬᏩᏛᏛᏅᎩ,
23 — ausente —
24 ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏒᎩ; ᏔᏕᏲᎲᏍᎩ, ᎼᏏ ᎤᏁᏤ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ; ᎢᏳᏃ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎠᏲᎱᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᏧᏪᏥ ᎾᏁᎲᎾ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᏗᎾᏓᏅᏟ ᎠᏓᏰᎨᏍᏗ ᎤᏓᏴᏛ, ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᏓᏛᎯᏍᏓᏁᎮᏍᏗ ᏗᏂᏲᎵ ᏗᎾᏓᏅᏟ.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎠᏴ ᎣᏤᎲ ᎠᏁᎲᎩ ᎦᎵᏉᎩ ᎢᏯᏂᏛ ᎠᎾᏓᏅᏟ; ᎤᏓᏂᎵᎨᏃ ᎤᏕᏒᏅ ᎤᏲᎱᏒᏉ, ᏧᏪᏥᏃ ᎾᏁᎲᎾ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎤᏓᎵᎢ ᎤᏪᎪᏓᏁᎸ ᎤᏅᏟ.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏔᎵᏁᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏦᎢᏁᎢ, ᎦᎵᏉᎩᏁ ᏫᎬᏗᏍᎩ.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 ᎤᎵᏍᏆᎸᏗᏃ ᎠᎨᏴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎤᏲᎱᏒᎩ.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎿᎭᏉ ᏧᏂᏲᎱᏒᎯ ᏓᎾᎴᎯᏌᏅᎭ, ᎦᎪ ᎤᏓᎵᎢ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎦᎵᏉᎩ ᎢᏯᏂᏛ ᎨᏒᎢ?
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 ᏥᏌ ᎤᏁᏨ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎢᏥᎵᏓᏍᏗᎭ ᏂᏥᎦᏔᎥᎾ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎪᏪᎸᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏄᎵᏂᎬᎬ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 ᏧᏂᏲᎱᏒᎯᏰᏃ ᏓᎾᎴᎯᏌᏅᎭ, ᎥᏝ ᏱᏓᎾᏕᏒᎲᏍᎪᎢ, ᎥᏝ ᎠᎴ ᏱᏗᎨᏥᏰᎪᎢ; ᏗᏂᎧᎿᎭᏩᏗᏙᎯᏍᎩᏂ ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᎠᏁᎯ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏧᏤᎵ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎨᏐᎢ.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 ᏧᏂᏲᎱᏒᎯᏍᎩᏂᏃᏅ ᎤᎾᎴᎯᏐᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏥᏥᏁᎢᏍᏗᎭ, ᏝᏍᎪ ᏱᏥᎪᎵᏰᎣ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎢᏥᏁᏤᎸᎯ, ᎯᎠ ᏥᏂᎦᏪᎭ?
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ᎠᏴ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎡᏆᎭᎻ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎡᏏᎩ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏤᎦᏈ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ. ᎥᏝ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏧᏂᏲᎱᏒᎯ ᎤᎾᏤᎵ ᏱᎩ, ᏗᏅᏃᏛᏉᏍᎩᏂ ᎤᏅᏒ.
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 ᎤᏂᏣᏘᏃ ᎤᎾᏛᎦᏅ ᎤᏂᏍᏆᏂᎪᏒᎩ ᏄᏍᏛ ᏓᏕᏲᎲᏍᎬᎢ.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 ᎠᏂᏆᎵᏏᏍᎩᏂ ᎤᎾᏛᎦᏅ ᎡᎳᏪᏱ ᏚᏩᏅ ᎠᏂᏌᏚᏏ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏚᏂᎳᏫᏨᎩ.
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 ᎠᏏᏴᏫᏃ ᎾᎿᎭᎤᏓᏑᏴᎩ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᏗᎪᏏᏏᏍᎩ, ᎤᏛᏛᏅᎩ ᎤᏌᏛᎥᏍᎬᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏒᎩ;
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 ᏔᏕᏲᎲᏍᎩ, ᎦᏙ ᎤᏍᏗ ᎤᏟ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎤᎵᏁᏨ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ?
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 ᏥᏌᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᏱᎰᏩ ᏣᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎯᎨᏳᏎᏍᏗ ᏂᎦᎥ ᏣᎾᏫ ᎲᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᎥ ᏣᏓᏅᏙ, ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᎥ ᏣᏓᏅᏖᏗᏱ.
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᎢᎬᏱᏱ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏣᏘ ᎦᎸᏉᏗ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 ᏔᎵᏁᏃ ᎾᏍᎩᏯᏉ ᎾᏍᏉ; ᏨᏒ ᏥᏂᏣᏓᎨᏳᏒ ᏂᎨᏳᏎᏍᏗ ᎾᎥ ᎢᏗᏍᏓᏓᎳ.
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏔᎵ ᏄᎵᏁᏨ ᏚᎵᏍᏓᏱᏗᏍᏗ ᏂᎦᏗᏳ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᎠᎴ ᎤᎾᏙᎴᎰᏒᎢ.
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 ᎠᏏᏉ ᏓᏂᎳᏫᎥ ᎠᏂᏆᎵᏏ, ᏥᏌ ᏚᏛᏛᏅᎩ,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏒᎩ; ᎦᏙ ᎢᏤᎵ ᎡᏣᏓᏅᏖᏍᎬ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ, ᎦᎪ ᎤᏪᏥ? ᏕᏫ, ᎥᎬᏬᏎᎸᎩ.
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎦᏙᏃ ᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᎭ, ᏕᏫ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᎤᏪᏲᎲᏍᎬᎢ, ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᏥᎪᏎᎭ? ᎯᎠ ᏥᏂᎦᏪᎭ;
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ᏱᎰᏩ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎠᏆᏤᎵᎦ; ᏥᎦᏘᏏ ᎢᏗᏢ ᏦᎴᏍᏗ, ᎬᏂ ᎨᏣᏍᎦᎩ ᏗᏣᎳᏏᏗᏱ ᎦᏍᎩᎶ ᏂᎦᏥᏴᏁᎸᎭ;
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 ᎢᏳᏰᏃ ᏕᏫ, ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᏱᎪᏎᎭ, ᎦᏙ ᏱᎦᎵᏍᏙᏓ ᎤᏪᏥ ᏱᎩ?
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Ꮭ ᎿᎭᏉ ᏰᎵ ᎩᎶ ᏍᎦᏁᏨᎯ ᎬᏩᏁᏤᏗ ᏱᎨᏎᎢ; Ꮭ ᎠᎴ ᎩᎶ ᎾᎯᏳ ᎢᏳᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏰᎵ ᎦᎬᏩᏛᏛᏗ ᏱᎨᏎᎢ.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
