AAI TUR GEWASIN O BAIBASIT BOUBUN
1 Come now, you men of wealth, give yourselves to weeping and crying because of the bitter troubles which are coming to you.
1 Naatu boun kwa sabuw iyab sawar wairafi kwananowar gewas! Kwaniyababan, fana aumetawat na’in kwanitar kaukuw kwanarerey, anayabin baimakiy gagamin na’in boro isa namatar!
2 Your wealth is unclean and insects have made holes in your clothing.
2 A sawar etei boro hinamun, naatu a’ar a faifuw boro ganidor hinaa.
3 Your gold and your silver are wasted and their waste will be a witness against you, burning into your flesh. You have put by your store in the last days.
3 A gold a silver kwaya kwatototo etei boro simur hinabow naatu nati sawar boro hina’e’en, biya etei boro wairafabe na’arah nagurus. Baise kwa i boro’ika iti mar yomaninamaim kwama sawar kwaya kwatototo.
4 See, the money which you falsely kept back from the workers cutting the grass in your field, is crying out against you; and the cries of those who took in your grain have come to the ears of the Lord of armies.
4 A bowayah oro’orot a masawamaim hibowabow men kwabibaiyanih isan hirerey tegamigam kwanonowar? Nati oro’orot hai rererey i Regah Fairin nowar.
5 You have been living delicately on earth and have taken your pleasure; you have made your hearts fat for a day of destruction.
5 Tafaramamaim a kok abisa etei i karam kwabow kwama kwabiyasisir, forobe biya hikabinitut rabi beyahi isan ana veya kwama kwakakaif.
6 You have given your decision against the upright man and have put him to death. He puts up no fight against you.
6 Sabuw gewasih asir ubar kwa’itih naatu kwarouw temomorob, men uma tirurukouw.
7 Go on waiting calmly, my brothers, till the coming of the Lord, like the farmer waiting for the good fruit of the earth till the early and late rains have come.
7 Taitu, yate nanub kwanama’am Regah nan. Orot masaw bowayan kwana’itin, ana masaw bow bay baiyamur isan yaten nub ma mimiy kumar hairi kakaif bay ebiyaiur na’atube.
8 Be as calm in your waiting; let your hearts be strong: because the coming of the Lord is near.
8 Imih kwa auman na’atube yatenanub kwanabatkikin, anayabin Regah na isan ana veya i na kabom.
9 Say no hard things against one another, brothers, so that you will not be judged; see, the judge is waiting at the doors.
9 Taitu, men taiyuw ubar kwanit kwanigamigam, taiyuw ubar kwanit kwanabigamigam God boro nibatiyi, anayabin baibabatiyenayan i a etawan awan ebatabat.
10 Take as an example of pain nobly undergone and of strength in trouble, the prophets who gave to men the words of the Lord.
10 Taitu, dinab oro’orot Regah wabinamaim hibibinan isan hibi’akir ana veya i yatehnub hibatkikin, bai’obaiyen nati kwana’itin kwananot.
11 We say that those men who have gone through pain are happy: you have the story of Job and the troubles through which he went and have seen that the Lord was full of pity and mercy in the end.
11 Nati sabuw i baigegewasinayah tao kwaso’ob. Anayabin yatehnub hibatkikin wainabih. Job bi’akir ana veya yaten nub babatkikin i hio kwanowar, naatu ana yomaninamaim Regah mi’itube isan sisinaf i kwaso’ob. Anayabin Regah i yan bababanin naatu kabeberayan.
12 But most of all, my brothers, do not take oaths, not by the heaven, or by the earth, or by any other thing: but let your Yes be Yes, and your No be No: so that you may not be judged.
12 Baise taitu, sawar tafantoro’ot i iti, obaifaro’omih men mar o tafaram wabihimaim kwanao baifaro’omih, o sawar afa wabihimaim kwanao baifaro’omih, sinafumih turobe inao inasinaf o men inasinaf, saise God boro men ubar nit nibatiyimih.
13 Is anyone among you in trouble? let him say prayers. Is anyone glad? let him make a song of praise.
13 Orot yait kwa wanawanamaim isan yababan emamatar nayoyoban, naatu orot yait ebiyasisir bora’ara’aten ana ew natabor.
14 Is anyone among you ill? let him send for the rulers of the church; and let them say prayers over him, putting oil on him in the name of the Lord.
14 Orot yait kwa wanawanamaim nasasawow Kirisiyan orot ukwarih isah tur niyafar hinan isan hinayoyoban naatu Regah wabinamaim biyan raiy hinisuwei.
15 And by the prayer of faith the man who is ill will be made well, and he will be lifted up by the Lord, and for any sin which he has done he will have forgiveness.
15 Yoyobanayah baitumatumamaim hinayoyoban orot sawuwin boro nayawas, Regah boro nimisiruw yawas nitin, naatu bowabow kakafih nasisinaf na’at Regah boro nanotawiyen.
16 So then, make a statement of your sins to one another, and say prayers for one another so that you may be made well. The prayer of a good man is full of power in its working.
16 Isan imih taiyuw wanawanamaim abowabow kakafih turanah matah kwana’e’en, naatu turanah bairi isa kwanayoyoban saise kwa boro yawas kwanab. Orot dogoron mutufurin ana yoyoban i fairin yabin boro namatar.
17 Elijah was a man of flesh and blood as we are, and he made a strong prayer that there might be no rain; and there was no rain on the earth for three years and six months.
17 Elijah i orot it na’atube, baise ana not tutufin etei yoyoban, men kok toun tayar, naatu kwamur tounu tafan sumar six na’atube toun men yar.
18 And he made another prayer, and the heaven sent down rain and the earth gave her fruit.
18 Baise iban yoyoban maiye marane toun yar re me yan sawar hikuboubunih hiyen aau himatar.
19 My brothers, if one of you has gone out of the way of the true faith and another has made him see his error,
19 Taitu, kwa wanawanamaim orot ta turobe ana yawas nawas kasiy natitit na’at, o ta nati orot inibais namatabir maiye.
20 Be certain that he through whom a sinner has been turned from the error of his way, keeps a soul from death and is the cause of forgiveness for sins without number.
20 Iti tur i kwananot. O yait taituwa bowabow kakafin wairafin inibais ana kakafihine inarumutufur namamatabir maiye, nati orot ayubin i morobone iyawas, naatu Regah ana kakafih etei boro nanotawiyen nasawar.
