1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “Papa e'to' esa' wannɨ pe esi kin, tʉmu emari'ma i'kiyari konekanin nʉ'pʉ kasa,
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 mɨrɨpan uya tʉpoitorʉ ton ennoko'pʉ tʉnkɨ'ma'san pana'tɨse'na to' uye'to' pe, e'tane ɨsi'pai pʉra to' esi'pʉ.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 “Serɨ rɨken pe tʉpoitorʉ ton ennoko'pʉ iya, ‘Apʉne enkɨ! Tanporon nɨ ekonekaka'sa' man. Paka amʉ' mɨrɨ awonsi'kɨ eka'nʉ'sa' ton paka munkɨ amʉ' wɨka'sa' ekonekasa' man. Ɨsi'tɨ' si emari'man i'kiyari pɨ' enta'nai'!’ ta'pʉ iya.
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 E'tane tetai' pʉra to' utɨpɨtʉ'pʉ, mɨrɨpan tikin nan utɨ'pʉ tʉmainarʉ ya', tʉron nɨ tʉnkupʉnʉ rɨ ku'se'na.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Tʉron kon uya ipoitorʉ ton a'si'pʉ, ipan pe rɨ to' kota'ma'pʉ to' uya, mɨrɨ awonsi'kɨ to' wɨnɨ'pʉ rɨ to' uya.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.

7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Entantɨ' asanta ka'ta pona rɨ, ɨneporo'pʉ kon nɨ mʉkɨ'matʉi',’ ta'pʉ iya.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Mɨrɨ pɨ' ipoitorʉ ton utɨ'pʉ asanta ka'ta pona ka'pon amʉ' tʉneporonʉ kon nɨ amʉranʉ'se'na, asa'rɨ rɨ, wakʉ ton, ɨri ton nɨ, mɨrɨpan emari'man nɨto' itau ɨutɨ epe'tɨ'pʉ ka'pon amʉ' ke.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “E'tane kin uye'sa' a'tai to' ense'na, ene'pʉ iya moro ka'pon emari'man pon pe pʉra ipon.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 ‘Utonpa, nai kasa ɨuye'sa' emari'man pon yau pʉra rɨ?’ tukai' ekama'po'pʉ iya. Isauro'to' pʉra iyesi'pʉ.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.

13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 “Tu'kan kon nɨ kɨ'ma e'tane, tu'ke pʉra to' anʉmʉ,” ta'pʉ Sises uya.
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Mɨrɨ pɨ' Pari'si amʉ' utɨ'pʉ nai kasa ipoken pʉra isauro'to' pe ikupʉ'nokon ka'se'na.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Ina pɨ' ekamakɨ; ɨ'rɨ ta auya se pɨ'; ipoken pe' iyesi Sisa ena' pʉrata tʉtʉsen e'ma a'tai, kane katɨ?” ta'pʉ to' uya.
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.

20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 “Sisa,” tukai' to' uya imaimu eikʉ'pʉ. Mɨrɨ a'tai, ta'pʉ iya to' pɨ', “Sisa iwano' itʉtɨ' itena' rɨ, mɨrɨ awonsi'kɨ Papa iwano' rɨ itʉtɨ' Papa ena' rɨ,” ta'pʉ Sises uya.
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Serɨ tawon eta tʉuya'nokon a'tai, to' usewansiuka'pʉ, mɨrɨpan kon utɨ'pʉ ipiyapai.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.

25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.

26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.

27 And last of all the woman also died.

28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?

29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.

30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.

31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ‘Papa urɨ, Epʉra'an, Aisi', Seko' e'to' itese' ipɨ',’tawon. Papa, iyeri'sa' kon e'to' itese' pɨ' pen e'tane nurɨnan kon,” ta'pʉ Sises uya.
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Sises uya eikʉ'pʉ, “‘Papa i'nʉnkakɨ tanporo ɨyewan pokon pe, aya'kwarʉ pokon pe, mɨrɨ awonsi'kɨ ɨusenuminkato' pokon pe.’
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Serɨ serɨ wapiyaro', eke kuru iyawɨrɨ e'nɨto'.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Mɨrɨ awonsi'kɨ ipɨkɨron esi iwaraino rɨ marɨ: ‘Ɨtonpa i'nʉnkakɨ mɨsi'nʉnkayai'ne' kasa,’tawon.
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Serɨ si asa'ron iyawɨrɨ e'nɨto' po, tanporo Main mɨrɨ awonsi'kɨ Pu'kena' amʉ' esi mɨrɨ,” ta'pʉ Sises uya.
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Pari'si amʉ' amʉrasa' koro'tau, Sises uya to' ekama'popɨtʉ'pʉ,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “Ɨnʉ' pe rɨ Kʉraiesi tukai' mi'tuyatʉu? Ɨnʉ' pa rʉ'pʉ pe iyesi?” ta'pʉ iya. “Tepi' pa rʉ'pʉ tukai',” to' uya eikʉ'pʉ.
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Ta'pʉ iya to' pɨ', “Ɨ'rɨ pe ken iyesi pɨ' Tepi' usaurokʉ Iya'kwarʉ yau uya esakʉ, ‘Uyepuru,’ tukai'? Apʉne pʉra ta iya,
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 tasa'.
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Tepi' uya, ‘Uyepuru,’ tukai' esakʉ pe iyesi yau, nai kasa nɨrɨ ipa rʉ'pʉ pe nesii'no?” ta'pʉ iya.
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?

46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
