Zacarias 10

1 Ask ye of LORD rain in the time of the latter rain, [even of] LORD who makes lightnings, and he will give them showers of rain, to everyone grass in the field.
1 Peçam a Deus, o Senhor , que mande as chuvas da primavera, pois é ele quem manda as nuvens e a chuva para fazer com que os campos produzam colheitas para todos.
2 For the teraphim have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and they have told FALSE dreams. They comfort in vain. Therefore they go their way like sheep. They are afflicted, because there is no shepherd.
2 Não adianta vocês consultarem os ídolos ou os médiuns, pois eles só dizem bobagens e mentiras. Os que explicam sonhos são falsos, e as suas palavras de consolo não ajudam nada. Por isso, o povo vive aflito e anda sem direção, como ovelhas que não têm pastor.
3 My anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the he-goats. For LORD of hosts has visited his flock, the house of Judah, and will make them as his goodly horse in the battle.
3 O Senhor Deus diz: — Estou
4 From him shall come forth the corner-stone, from him the nail, from him the battle bow, from him every ruler together.
4 Do meio deles, virão todos os chefes, líderes militares e governadores do meu povo.
5 And they shall be as mighty men, treading down [their enemies] in the mire of the streets in the battle. And they shall fight, because LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.
5 Todos juntos vencerão e serão como os soldados que pisam os seus inimigos na lama das ruas. Lutarão porque eu, o Senhor , estou com eles, e derrotarão até os inimigos montados a cavalo.
6 And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them back. For I have mercy upon them, and they shall be as though I had not cast them off. For I am LORD their God, and I will hear th
6 O Senhor Deus diz: “Darei forças ao povo de Judá, salvarei o povo de Israel. Tenho compaixão deles e os trarei de volta do Será como se eu nunca os tivesse rejeitado, pois eu sou o e atendo as suas orações.
7 And Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine. Yea, their sons shall see it, and rejoice. Their heart shall be glad in LORD.
7 Os homens de Israel serão fortes como soldados, serão alegres como os que bebem vinho. Os seus descendentes ouvirão falar disso e ficarão contentes e alegres por causa do que eu, o
8 I will whistle for them, and gather them. For I have redeemed them, and they shall increase as they have increased.
8 “Chamarei o meu povo e os juntarei, pois eu os trarei de volta para o seu país. E serão novamente tão numerosos como eram no passado.
9 And I will sow them among the peoples, and they shall remember me in far countries. And they shall live with their sons, and shall return.
9 Eu os espalhei pelas nações distantes, mas mesmo assim eles não têm esquecido de mim. Eles e os seus filhos continuarão vivos e voltarão de novo para a sua terra.
10 I will also bring them again out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria. And I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon, and [until space] shall not be found for them.
10 Eu os farei voltar do Egito e da Assíria e os levarei para as terras de Gileade e do Líbano. Serão tantos, que não haverá lugar para todos.
11 And he will pass through the sea of affliction, and will smite the waves in the sea, and all the depths of the Nile shall dry up. And the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt shall depart.
11 Atravessarão o mar Vermelho, e eu, o e secarei as águas do rio Nilo. Destruirei o orgulho da Assíria e acabarei com o poder do Egito.
12 And I will strengthen them in LORD, and they shall walk up and down in his name, says LORD.
12 Darei forças ao meu povo, e pelo meu poder eles viverão. Eu, o
