1 LORD reigns! Let the peoples tremble. He sits [above] the cherubim, let the earth be moved.
1 Reina o Senhor ; tremam os povos. Ele está entronizado acima dos querubins; abale-se a terra.
2 LORD is great in Zion, and he is high above all the peoples.
2 O Senhor é grande em Sião e está exaltado acima de todos os povos.
3 Let them praise thy great and awesome name. Holy is he.
3 Celebrem eles o teu nome grande e tremendo, porque é santo.
4 The king's strength also loves justice. Thou establish equity. Thou execute justice and righteousness in Jacob.
4 És rei poderoso que ama a justiça; tu estabeleces o direito, executas o juízo e a justiça em Jacó.
5 Exalt ye LORD our God, and worship at his footstool. Holy is he.
5 Exaltem o Senhor , nosso Deus, e prostrem-se diante do estrado de seus pés. O
6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among those who call upon his name, they called upon LORD, and he answered them.
6 Moisés e Arão, entre os seus sacerdotes, e, Samuel, entre os que lhe invocam o nome, clamavam ao e ele os ouvia.
7 He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud. They kept his testimonies, and the statute that he gave them.
7 Falava-lhes na coluna de nuvem; eles guardavam os seus mandamentos e a lei que lhes tinha dado.
8 Thou answered them, O LORD our God. Thou were a God who forgave them, though thou took vengeance on their doings.
8 Tu lhes respondeste, ó foste para eles Deus perdoador, ainda que os tenhas castigado por seus atos.
9 Exalt ye LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill. For LORD our God is holy.
9 Exaltem o Senhor , nosso Deus, e prostrem-se diante do seu santo monte, porque santo é o nosso Deus.
