1 And the word of LORD came to me, saying,
1 Veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
2 Son of man, set thy face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the ruler of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him.
2 Filho do homem, dirige o teu rosto contra Gogue, terra de Magogue, príncipe e chefe de Meseque, e Tubal, e profetiza contra ele.
3 And say, Thus says lord LORD: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, ruler of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.
3 E dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu sou contra ti, ó Gogue, príncipe e chefe de Meseque e de Tubal;
4 And I will turn thee about, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them handling swords,
4 E te farei voltar, e porei anzóis nos teus queixos, e te levarei a ti, com todo o teu exército, cavalos e cavaleiros, todos vestidos com primor, grande multidão, com escudo e rodela, manejando todos a espada;
5 Persia, Cush, and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet,
5 Persas, etíopes, e os de Pute com eles, todos com escudo e capacete;
6 Gomer, and all his hordes, the house of Togarmah in the outermost parts of the north, and all his hordes, even many peoples with thee.
6 Gômer e todas as suas tropas; a casa de Togarma, do extremo norte, e todas as suas tropas, muitos povos contigo.
7 Be thou prepared. Yea, prepare thyself, thou, and all thy companies that are assembled to thee, and be thou a guard to them.
7 Prepara-te, e dispõe-te, tu e todas as multidões do teu povo que se reuniram a ti, e serve-lhes tu de guarda.
8 After many days thou shall be visited. In the latter years thou shall come into the land that is brought back from the sword, that is gathered out of many peoples, upon the mountains of Israel, which have been a continual waste, bu
8 Depois de muitos dias serás visitado. No fim dos anos virás à terra que se recuperou da espada, e que foi congregada dentre muitos povos, junto aos montes de Israel, que sempre se faziam desertos; mas aquela terra foi tirada dentre as nações, e todas elas habitarão seguramente.
9 And thou shall ascend. Thou shall come like a storm. Thou shall be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy hordes, and many peoples with thee.
9 Então subirás, virás como uma tempestade, far-te-ás como uma nuvem para cobrir a terra, tu e todas as tuas tropas, e muitos povos contigo.
10 Thus says lord LORD: It shall come to pass in that day, that things shall come into thy mind, and thou shall devise an evil plan.
10 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: E acontecerá naquele dia que subirão palavras no teu coração, e maquinarás um mau desígnio,
11 And thou shall say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages. I will go to those who are at rest, who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
11 E dirás: Subirei contra a terra das aldeias não muradas; virei contra os que estão em repouso, que habitam seguros; todos eles habitam sem muro, e não têm ferrolhos nem portas;
12 to take the spoil and to take the prey, to turn thy hand against the waste places that are [now] inhabited, and against the people who are gathered out of the nations, who have gotten cattle and goods, who dwell in the middle of th
12 A fim de tomar o despojo, e para arrebatar a presa, e tornar a tua mão contra as terras desertas que agora se acham habitadas, e contra o povo que se congregou dentre as nações, o qual adquiriu gado e bens, e habita no meio da terra.
13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions of it, shall say to thee, Have thou come to take the spoil? Have thou assembled thy company to take the prey, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cat
13 Sebá e Dedã, e os mercadores de Társis, e todos os seus leõezinhos te dirão: Vens tu para tomar o despojo? Ajuntaste a tua multidão para arrebatar a tua presa? Para levar a prata e o ouro, para tomar o gado e os bens, para saquear o grande despojo?
14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and say to Gog, Thus says lord LORD: In that day when my people Israel dwell securely, shall thou not know it?
14 Portanto, profetiza, ó filho do homem, e dize a Gogue: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porventura não o saberás naquele dia, quando o meu povo Israel habitar em segurança?
15 And thou shall come from thy place out of the outermost parts of the north, thou, and many peoples with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company and a mighty army.
15 Virás, pois, do teu lugar, do extremo norte, tu e muitos povos contigo, montados todos a cavalo, grande ajuntamento, e exército poderoso,
16 And thou shall come up against my people Israel, as a cloud to cover the land. It shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring thee against my land, that the nations may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Go
16 E subirás contra o meu povo Israel, como uma nuvem, para cobrir a terra. Nos últimos dias sucederá que hei de trazer-te contra a minha terra, para que os gentios me conheçam a mim, quando eu me houver santificado em ti, ó Gogue, diante dos seus olhos.
17 Thus says lord LORD: Are thou he of whom I spoke in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days for [many] years that I would bring thee against them?
17 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Não és tu aquele de quem eu disse nos dias antigos, por intermédio dos meus servos, os profetas de Israel, os quais naqueles dias profetizaram largos anos, que te traria contra eles?
18 And it shall come to pass in that day, when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, says lord LORD, that my wrath shall come up into my nostrils.
18 Sucederá, porém, naquele dia, no dia em que vier Gogue contra a terra de Israel, diz o Senhor DEUS, que a minha indignação subirá à minha face.
19 For I have spoken in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath. Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel,
19 Porque disse no meu zelo, no fogo do meu furor, que, certamente, naquele dia haverá grande tremor sobre a terra de Israel;
20 so that the fishes of the sea, and the birds of the heavens, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men who are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence. And the mo
20 De tal modo que tremerão diante da minha face os peixes do mar, e as aves do céu, e os animais do campo, e todos os répteis que se arrastam sobre a terra, e todos os homens que estão sobre a face da terra; e os montes serão deitados abaixo, e os precipícios se desfarão, e todos os muros desabarão por terra.
21 And I will call for a sword against him to all my mountains, says lord LORD. Every man's sword shall be against his brother.
21 Porque chamarei contra ele a espada sobre todos os meus montes, diz o Senhor DEUS; a espada de cada um se voltará contra seu irmão.
22 And I will enter into judgment with him with pestilence and with blood. And I will rain upon him, and upon his hordes, and upon the many peoples who are with him, an overflowing shower, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
22 E contenderei com ele por meio da peste e do sangue; e uma chuva inundante, e grandes pedras de saraiva, fogo, e enxofre farei chover sobre ele, e sobre as suas tropas, e sobre os muitos povos que estiverem com ele.
23 And I will magnify myself, and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations. And they shall know that I am LORD.
23 Assim eu me engrandecerei e me santificarei, e me darei a conhecer aos olhos de muitas nações; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
